Now i have been thinking about this for a long time so i just went with it now.My true characters name is Lord-Raedon i named him that because sometime ago i played a medival styled RTS game called Lord Of Ultima and wanted a medivaley name so named him that as Lord before your name was pretty popular then but it wasn't Lord-Raedon then but it was Lord-Raedo so i changed it for this game and here i am I've had positive feedback towards this name as alot of people name there character stupid names but they don't understand that it also represents them.

My true character's name is Acid Snow, but the game made me insert a hyphen. It's not that big of a deal. Between 3 and 5 years ago, when I was about 12, it struck me: "If you can have acid rain, can you have acid snow as well?" I have not found a coherent answer to this, but since most acids need to be dissociated by a liquid solvent (generally water), unless you use the Lewis acid definition, it is extremely unlikely that anything solid (such as snow) will be acidic.
Now while the "acid" in "acid rain" acts as an adjective but is a noun everywhere else, I went ahead and made a character named Acid Snow in a fairly small RPG. If anyone gets it in 3 guesses, I'll give 'em several hundred thousand crowns.
People have since twisted my name to mean snow upon which dogs (or people) have urinated or a dangerous drug mix of LSD (acid) and PCP (snow), but neither of those interpretations crossed my mind in Acid Snow's conception. Maybe they should've...

I'm a bit confused but what you mean when you "true name."
But my character was going to be called Baron VonRatsworth (after the Kingdom of Loathing boss) but that was, I believe, too long so I just went with something I could fit.

I am not sure if I should comment here...but whatever. I named my character "Xxdragneel" because of Fairy Tail anime. Although I didn't like the anime itself very much, but I just love the way the main character Natsu Dragneel acts. I love fire and dragons and draw them from time to time, so I guess that's it.
Note : I am pretty sure that people will say that the first "Xx" in my name is stupid,and I know that, but I had to do that, because "Dragneel" was already taken. I'd really like to meet that person and....arghh....forget it.

I was actually joking, considering the fantasy concept of 'true names' being that if someone knows your 'true name', which is not necessarily your birth name, gives that person an element of power over you.
Also, about getting my name wrong, there was also copy-paste, but w/e.
Psychodestroyer was conceived during my Cryisis hype. After playing both Crysis and Crysis warhead, I was thoroughly high on the action involved. Nomad was the hero of Crysis 1, but IMO he sounded a bit dumb, and 'Nomad' would be too obvious and sounded a bit awkward.
I found Psycho to be much more appealing, considering it's versatility, and selected that as my 'stem'.
I then thought of my primary function in this game. Would I be a rescuer? A support-soldier? What was my character going to en up being? I didn't want a generic 'look at dem guz mah awesomeness outshine u' name like 'Forever-Your-Lord' or something, because IMO, those sound silly. Not to mention if you fail terribad, makes you look like a bigger idiot.
All things considered, I decided that destruction would be my character's general purpose and completed the name: Psychodestroyer.
Now I use it as my screen name everywhere :D Well, it, or variants of it.
Also completely coincidental it shares the name with a band >.> Did not notice...

I've seen this...somewhere...before...oh well.
I think my name is pretty self-explanatory. One day I came up with it to play a game called Grand Chase - a game which I've long since abandoned. I created it because I hated putting numbers in my name or X's or something silly because the other name was taken...so I came up with something a little more original.
I've also since renamed some of my past MMOs (At least the ones that you can change your name) to Severage. My name is now massively multiplayerized.

Seasons 1 & 2 Grand Chase were the bomb.
Season 3 sucked big time, and Season Chaos was soooo bad I couldn't fathom playing another day. The game REALLY screwed up - it made me upset really, after it was such a great game. I didn't care for new content if it was going to be as bad as it was.
But when there were only 4 classes, before 2nd jobs, the game was very fun.

My true character has no name but could have been considered hollow. My knight's true name, on the other hand, is Hollows. This came from the shallow parts of my imagination, however my name is not in reference to any sort of person, place, or thing. If you must really insist that I got my name from somewhere, then let it be assumed it was from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for this is the only sort of reference I would even know about.
The name Hollows came about because I just really don't like a dash in the middle of my name, so I had to make up something other than my usual IGN. My first choice, Hollow, was already taken.
Alas, I'm no longer considered to have a hollow character anymore for *Hollows is full of love!*

I've used the name "Guardian" for quite a few games but sadly it was taken so I figured since we're
knights I'd just add knight to my name and became Guardianknight (though most people who know me
just call me Guard). I've yet to find the player with the name Guardian :/
"Syvaa" came about by pure randomness and, as others have said, wanting to avoid adding
numbers or xX...Xx to my name.

My in-game character's name is Anakletos, coming from a random name generator. If I recall correctly it meant something along the lines of "Invoker of fear" or something like that.
The forum name, Traevelliath, comes from Warhammer 40k. If you've played a lot of tabletop (Especially against Dark Eldar), you'd recognize the character's full name: Duke Traevelliath Sliscus.

Then, taking inspiriation from Greek and Roman mythology, I spent awhile on Google Translate(I know) finding a Latin name that looked and sounded like what I wanted. My original knight started on the kongregate version. Since I wanted to buy the DLC I had to make a knight on the client. It started out as (my original name)Mk-ll. That seemed a bit chunky so I just cut it down to the Mk-ll, but that was taken. So I just started going up from there until I found one that works. Little note: I thought that I had put four until someone tried to get my attention by calling me 6 :/ My original knight occasionally shows up but he's an entirely different person :P and I ain't tellin!

My IGN is Abyssal-Flamberge. Abyss is for Hell and Flamberge is the Flourish Line 3(or was it 4?) star level weapon.
