5 Star Path Idea for Winmillion Blade [Long]

This is quite a random idea for a random sword.

The 5 star sword would function differently from the Winmillion by:

A small damage increase in normal damage, but everything else gets wacky.

The sword's charge attack has a second option. (Anyone that owns a Winmillion knows that its charge attack is hard to aim and can take awhile to swing. If an enemy attacks you are likely to use your sheild which cancels the attack all together.) If you prepare a charged swing, but the enemy attacks and you sheild your character, you instead disappear for a brief second a reappear a small distance in the direction you were facing. Not only that but your character unleashes the attack facing the direction you originally stood (basically facing the behind of the enemy that was going to attack you) and then you unleash the attack (on the enemy). This can also be used to get over traps without getting harmed by the disappear technique if done successfully (spikes, fire pits, NOT gates). The sword will even have a charge time reduction high to complement this, since the attack isn't strong in the first place. Also great for getting out of tight spots when clustered by enemies.

The sword also has a special status affect system unlike any other. If you come up to an enemy, fire-based for example, if you can successfully make 2 slashes and 2 disk hits consecutively the enemy will lose its resistance to it's status effect it repressents. (Ex. Fire-based Chroma turns into a regular Chroma.) and the sword gains the ability to deal that status affect only with the third disk or during a charge attack that doesn't involve the sheild. (So after turning it into a regular Chroma you can torch it.) The sword can not change its status effect until you make an invisible sheild cancel charge attack (as mentioned above). Then it becomes the normal version ready to take another ability. (Enemies that don't have a normal form will keep their own, and instead the sword gains stun. Normal enemies won't give the sword a status effect unless they can preform stun. Trojans and the wood enemies)

In lockdown this sword can steal other people's status resist when used correctly, (until they faint and revive) which will then transfer over to the sword to attacks (only on the third disk or on the charged attack disk that wasn't sheild canceled). (It can take more than one ability if the person's it took had more than one type of status resist. Statuses dealt by sword are only as strong as the its resistance that was swiped.)

Too lazy to come up with original name. Discuss whether you think this is perfect, under-powered, or over-powered.

Overpowered, Original Post!

First off, too hard to control; you're more liable to run INTO traps than to run past them. It also would be a pain to code a 2nd charge option, seeing as no swords have a 2nd charge option.

The sword also has a special status affect system unlike any other. If you come up to an enemy, fire-based for example, if you can successfully make 2 slashes and 2 disk hits consecutively the enemy will lose its resistance to it's status effect it repressents.
Too complicated, too annoying to code, makes very little sense anyways. Winmillion/Winfinity (lol 5* name anyone?) wouldn't inflict a status, so you'd have to switch to a second (most likely elemental) weapon in order to inflict the status. If this effect is permanent, then it might be useful, but if temporary, would be completely useless.

In lockdown this sword can steal other people's status resist when used correctly, (until they faint and revive) which will then transfer over to the sword to attacks (only on the third disk or on the charged attack disk that wasn't sheild canceled). ...What?
Status resists? As in my Shock:Med Skolver Cap? As in my Vog's natural Fire:VH bonus? What the heck does this even mean? Does Winfinity inflict Shock/Fire now?
Stealing someone else's armor statistics is a definite NO. Would it remove the opponent's resistance? Would you just be given a random-status weapon?

The concept of swiping statuses based on resistances is original, but unfortunately does not follow Winmillion line's logic AT ALL. Spur to Winmillion, the swords are very much WIND related, and QUICK, and projectile-shooting. Statuses NEVER came up in the equation, and by all means, shouldn't.

A sword that steals statuses would be more befitting the Sealed Sword, and any new lines that anyone wants to come up with, given its ability to inflict random status with the charge. However, the idea of storing a status in a weapon would be a royal pain in the arsenal.

As much as I want a 5* Winmillion, if it doesn't resemble the Winmillion at all, then it's not worth my time.

Well, it's not the only one to straggle off its line.

When I typed this I really didn't have damage in mind, since it is only normal damage and doesn't deal a whole lot of it. Maybe there can be another version that holds true and only deals more damage, but I doubt it still be good enough to compete with any of the other 5 star weapons. This sword would be more meant for status effect and movement capabilities, somewhat like the chaos cloak and cowl set which differes off from its tradition series.

Basically I had the disappear charge to help better its weak charge attack. I felt invisibility would be like wind since it's its element. It being hard to control is debatable, since not all maps will have traps, it could get you behind trojans and the robotic swordmen that sheild at your disks, and if the enemies have got you crowded up against a corner where there's no possible chance of escape it would be easy to break free instead of lose all your health right then and there.

Status effect I didn't want to make too much of a deal on. (Even though I typed a whole lot about it.) First of all, to deal the status condition you have to make a charged disk swing (hard to aim) or the third disk (which leaves you vulnerable because you pause awhile to recover). When it comes to actual fire based maps or any other status, to steal you'd have to pick off enemies one at a time. Stealing ones effect will be useless to the other enemies that you haven't been able to take the ability from. (You either have to pick them off one by one by sheild charging between steals, so your better off saving it for the big tougher ones.) Any status you steal would go straight to the sword's hole. (Ex. If it's fire, there will be a small ball of energy that looks like one of the bullets from the firotech alchemer and same on for the other statuses.)

Maybe for lockdown it would steal half of the resistance so you'd still be vulnerable to it, but not likely. Even though its quick you can easily counteract it.

As for thge programming into this, no one knows. It may be impossible, it may be easy with two short tricks. That's not for us to say.

So maybe there can be just an increased power version, that doesn't do any of this, and then you can have this version with the damage equivalent of the winmillion with these special effects. That way you can stick to original or play around with a tough sword to handle, that you can master with practice.
