So I made this topic the other day and noticed it had been moved to Treasure Vault. "Okay...", I thought, though I wondered how it falls under any of what is cited in the following description of the Treasure Vault subforum.
Post your creative endeavors of a Spiral-y Knight-y nature here! Art, fiction, events...this is where the magic happens.
Art? No, it's not.
Fiction? Knight feet are fiction.
Events? Eh, kinda-ish but no, not really.
Since it might actually be the last one, let's have a look at the definition of event. Looking at the link found first by Google, we see this:
1. a. Something that takes place; an occurrence.
b. A significant occurrence or happening. See Synonyms at occurrence.
c. A social gathering or activity.
2. The final result; the outcome.
1. a. Sure, this is taking place. Just like Vanaduke battles. And oh, I dunno, a certain Kataclysmic Confrontation.
b. As significant as the currently ongoing event...
c. No.
2. ?
So, please, do explain what my challenge topic is doing in the Treasure Vault.
While you're at it, explain to me what makes my topic different from this which has been around for more than some months.
Even stranger, why in the world would this be located in the Treasure Vault? I mean, that has got to go in Gremlin Chatter.
Lastly, where do baby Mewkats come from?
EDIT: just for clarity regarding the thread in question, the low prize was mostly to encourage people to go out, have some fun and do something different. It's not like that'd be profitable for anyone anyway. Also, I can't see that as a valid argument considering how pretty much every Lockdown competition thread goes in General Discussion.
Player events are always posted on or moved to Treasure Vault. Maybe the description is faulty if you analyze it literally.
But GMs always moved threads like that.
