Currently I'm trying to get a Brandish with a nice UV to upgrade it to Combuster in the future, so I'm browsing the AH a lot, looking at all those UVs.
And I got an idea regarding UVs.
I'm not a native English speaker, so I'll just try to describe what I have in mind and hope it will make some amount of sense :)
Ok. My idea is, what if we could take two identical weapons with different UVs and "merge" them.
This would result in one weapon with both UVs on it. It would cost whatever amount of CE would be reasonable.
Because I can see how this would be leaning towards the "pay-to-win" system, the chance of success would be 50% (25% maybe? You and OOO decide).
If the "merging" is succesfull, you will have a weapon with both original UVs.
If it fails, one of the weapons will be destroyed and the second weapon will remain unaffected.
I'll give you an example:
Let's say you have two brandishes.
They are the same swords, but one of them has ASI: low and the other has CTR: medium.
For an appropriate amount of CE, you can take those two Brandishes and try to turn them into one Brandish with two UVs - ASI: low and CTR: medium.
You have X% chance of success and X% chance of failure.
If the process is succesfull, you now have one Brandish sword with the aforementioned two UVs.
If the process fails, you are left with one Brandish with its original UV, and the second Brandish is destroyed.
For some reason, this would only work for weapons (not for armors) and it wouldn't be possible to "stack" UVs of the same kind (i.e. you wouldn't be able to turn two ASI: low into one ASI: Medium).
And since I saw some topics regarding the flawed in-game economy and inflation, maybe this could cost Crowns instead of energy.
It would provide another crown sink, which I figured out is something players would like to see.
I hope it makes a sense and I'd like to hear what do you guys and girls think :)
get one very high asi, another very high charge and try merge many times than you can (remember than asi is cheaper than charge on brandish, so, you will choice only break the asi one)
if anyone success, will have the most expensive weapon of the game
this is worse than allow making high asi become very high, despite this already be a problem
remember than you can buy a weapon with very high on any attribute (asi or charge)and use the UV ticket for the other 2 already
