Winmillion Upgrade

This might have been said enough times: Winmillion needs an upgrade.
The Winmillion is an interesting weapon to use, and is, hands-down, my favourite sword of all time.
But the Spur crafting chain ends at 4 stars, with Winmillion. I believe that it deserves a 5-star upgrade. Increased damage, increased energy disk range, and a new look! Maybe the possible upgrade would look nice in violet or maroon.
Perhaps the entire Spur chain could end up like a new Brandish chain, with varying damages and status effects. Like three possible upgrades can inflict mixed elemental and normal, or pure elemental damage, and inflict either Fire, Freeze, or Shock with the charged attacks, and "built" into the regularly fired energy disks at Tier 3. And one or two Shadow upgrades, with either mixed or pure, could inflict Poison or Curse (WE NEED ANOTHER CURSE WEAPON). A pure normal upgrade could inflict stun with charged attacks, or just a universal upgrade could inflict all status upgrades on charge attack, like the Sealed Sword.
The previous paragraph doesn't need to be brought into consideration; I think a normal damage 5-star upgrade will satisfy the majority of Winmillion users.

"I think a normal damage 5-star upgrade will satisfy the majority of Winmillion users."
Perhaps. Using science, I have gathered the damage numbers of 5* Winmillion. Note that these numbers are not even slightly made up; I am dead serious when I tell you that these are, to the last damage point, 100% accurate values of 5* Winmillion provided it stays mechanically the same as 4* and no other balance changes are introduced than slapping a 5* weapon on the end of the line.
For comparison, this is the damage of 4* Winmillion, at depth 23:
First: 102
Third: 142
Projectile: 59
Charge: 314
Charge Projectile: 125
And these are the values for 5* Winmillion, at depth 23:
First: 107
Third: 148
Projectile: 61
Charge: 336
Charge Projectile: 130
How do I know these numbers? Simple! I saw a relation between Winmillion and the damage values of 4* hand guns:
First hit = Master Blaster
Third hit = Mega Magnus
Projectile = Silversix
Charge = Mega Magnus charge
Charge Projectile = Shadow Driver
So to get 5* Winmillion, I simply copied the numbers from the 5* versions of those guns.

You know, sometimes it helps to just search for things. To see if they've already been suggested. Maybe multiple times. Maybe once every two weeks. ¬.¬
Klipik, I'm well aware that a Winmillion upgrade has been requested several times; that's what my first sentence-of-a-paragraph vaguely suggests:
This might have been said enough times: Winmillion needs an upgrade.

Zeddy, that's some creative number-calculating there! By any chance, did you mean 148 rather than "48" for the Third hit of the combo? Also, wiki.spiralknights.com has some different thoughts on those numbers. If you'd like to take a closer look for yourself:
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Master_Blaster -- Suggests 98-92 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Valiance -- Suggests 108 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Mega_Magnus -- Suggests 117-105 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Callahan -- Suggests 151-154 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Silversix -- Unavailable damage!
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Argent_Peacemaker -- Suggests 62-67 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Shadow_Driver -- Suggests 99-93 base damage in Stratum 6.
http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Umbra_Driver -- Suggests 123-126 base damage in Stratum 6.
Your numbers are a bit off. But they seem reasonable! I haven't confirmed your hypothesis of the Winmillion having the same damage values as certain handguns. Perhaps you could multiply the damages on Winmillion by the ratio comparing the four-star handguns and their five-star counterparts' damages?

We do not need another brandish line. We should not have another brandish line. You can barely justify keeping brandish line the way it is.
Damage numbers are based on depth 23. As such, they do not compensate for the damage shifts you get when you use a weapon in its appropriate stratum.
The damage numbers do show, however, that just slapping a 5* version of the current spur onto the end of the line would essentially keep it where it is; the land of mediocrity.
Turning it into the sixth brandish isn't the answer, the last thing we need is three more elemental swords that deal status.
Buffing the mechanics is the way to go, along with a small raw damage increase. Maybe adding more pellets?

Depth 23 is in stratum 5, and 4* weapons lose damage in stratum 6.
And yes, I did mean 148. Also be careful about referring to damage against neutral targets as "base damage", as the base damage is the damage against weak targets. Neutral damage is defended by a set amount.

this has seerusly been the first time I have found another post that isn't siding with the idea of making winmillion into elemental. Keeping it at normal damage is the best option as the whole line is meant to be a effective weapon in all situations, not single ones.

Also, be careful trusting wiki numbers on 4* non-swords in general. Most of them haven't been updated since the universal gun and bomb buff.

Sorry for the slightly hostile response, any time I see a new thread with "Windmillion" in the name I tend to go on a rant. Don't get me wrong, I love the weapon, but I wish people would make good suggestions for it or someone just makes a mega-thread about it. Still, I'm gonna give you a -1 because we don't need another brandish series.

Zeddy, that's my bad! Sorry! I should know not to trust the Wiki with numbers.
Klipik and Oatmonster, another Brandish series was just a POSSIBILITY for an upgraded Winmillion. I stated that the idea for that does not have to be regarded at all in the my last paragraph. That was just me on a (not) creative spiel. But I still think it would be cool if the upgrade could at least Stun on charge attack projectiles; Stun has no association with Brandish whatsoever.

Something that isn't usually mentioned; perhaps the winfinity could not have the annoying habit of NOT shooting the charged up proyectile if you shield just before shooting.

How about adding stun to it.... that isnt offered by brandish lines, and only one other 3 hit combo sword, but its piercing.
Idk i think it works.

Sleep rebalance/replacement comes with release of winfinity! The only sword/gun that'll do said status!

5* elemental version of "winbillion"
"Máfēng bìng's spiral" ( Leprosy's spiral for all who can't speak Chinese.)
Does 150-200 elemental damage for the swings, 75-100 on disks and provides a good chance of causing strong poison.Charge attack's swing does 175-220 give or take and 400-450 on disk OR multi hit of up to 5 times and only doing 75-110; each hit can cause poison.
5* shadow version of "winbillion"
"Phantom's breath", "Spectral Twister"
Same stats as the Bing's spiral just with curse instead of poison. Also a good chance of causing moderate curse to self for balance. Side variation, could cause enemies to be sucked into the center of the charge disk in a form of crowd control.
5* pricing version of "winbillion"
"Salamander's intentions" because they want to burn everything or "Vanduke's Razor" because he would use this to shave.
blah blah same as before but with fire and pricing. Possible aesthetic features like making chromulask attack noise when charge attack being used and or leaving a fire trail.
5* winbillion
basicly ad 20-30 to the lowest stat from before and give it stun would do well. A possible variation as it seems the SI (pricing) would/could leave a fire trail and the Bing's spiral would/could multi hit and the Spectral Twister has the suction the normal could have a split effect were once it hits some thing it breaks apart into smaller ones and flys off in 1) random directions 2) a outward spiral from center with 3-5 smaller disks.
You know, sometimes it helps to just search for things. To see if they've already been suggested. Maybe multiple times. Maybe once every two weeks. ¬.¬
And here's one you might not find by searching, but has the best suggestion in my opinion. Go there and read everything about the Spur line.
