The list is rigged! I see no Badworm or Magnus or Zave on there. They still count no matter how much they don't play!! In my opinion these lists should no longer exist as all the really impressive ones are gone.
No Mitzy-Ro? No vote. And what about Blueflood? I'd like to see anyone on that list kick butt with Triglav.

It's clearly biased towards the US players, while EU only have few mentioning. EU players are much stronger than US players in my opinion. You really missed a lot of amazing EU players.

Because it's cleaner? lol And I said EU Best players not EU players generally, so some people spam Polaris in EU too but they are almost always noob.
There wont be a day when I happen to be on those list...since I only use arrow keys...less accurate aim than mouse...can't use guns...waste of boost...cant boost back when facing an enemy.......only good thing is faster weapon switch. Never seen any pro LD player using only arrow keys lol. Meh. So anyway I quit Striker, now recon's takin' over!
"Best" is a relative term. If you mean the person that gets the most damage it would be one list, if you mean caps it would be an entirely different list, and defends would be a third still. If you mean a combination of the 3 than you'd have a few from all 3 lists... and a few that made none of the other lists.
We have seen time and time again that high damage means nothing in LD. You can find plenty of pics of people with 30k+ damage on the losing team because they refuse to cap and think the game is a deathmatch. So if damage alone is the ruling stick than the vote is flawed from the get go.

While it is true that captures make you win and not damage, but it is not false that damage can win you too. If you are dead, you can't cap. Neither you can cap well if you don't kill. And I suppose that the OP is asking for the best in terms of combat, be it either 1v1, 1v2 etc...

I guess you are pointing at Dando, aren't you? Well anyways, the number of Amazing Fighting Guardians&Recons is much less than Striker ones, due to the Striker Class being the best in offensive mode.

Im the best LD spammer and im not in that list.......
Sad to not see Solimando on that list. Last time I checked, he was a pretty damn awesome Guardian. In fact, he's yet to be mentioned at all. There are several awesome players but one the one I think I respect the most is:

I've only played with/against him in one session, but I got my butt kicked pretty hard. Know what he uses? Dusker set and Levi. That's respectable.
Anyway, I dislike indexing people's skill based on opinion. If there'd be a proper (i.e. not just based on damage) system for this, top players would be determinable. Let's just agree on the fact that there are many very respectable players and only a handful are not strikers and that sucks.

@Krakob; It's sad to see people only look at damage for any type of skill.
Anyways, there was a player based system where all 3 scores that are possible in an LD game could be added up for an overall scoring. This was not a suggestion but more of a personal skill level test for those who find LD competitive and fun. I believe it was 1k points for caps, 500 points for defends and your damage are points themselves. People now play LD for damage without even looking for anything else (teamwork, neutralizing, pushing for capture points, caps/defends themselves).
Out of the people on that list, since those aren't the only good LD players, it's between Icegill, Thrillhaus, Bacon-Strip, and Snarkey. My vote goes to Icegill though.

Skybrandon kills basically everybody he sees, and he's an arrow key player.
ANYWAYS, why isn't Huntr on that list? he's the best bomber by FAR that I've ever seen. I've never seen a bomber that could hold a cap for SO LONG against a WHOLE TEAM of polaris spammers.
So far in Lockdown history Exiledread has been the most OP player in combat. I saw him take down 5 strikers (3 skilled strikers and one was me) with full health in only 7 seconds with a flourish and only took one hit. Unfortunately he quit the game last year so I can see why he isn't on the list. He also used to be one of the Finesse members, but I'm not sure if that guild still exists or there might be few members left.
Hmm I might go for Bacon-Strip even though I hardly ever see him fight, but I do know he is very experienced.
Lets go back in time.. shall we?

well i vote for dragon-dash hes very very skilled with hes final flourish and once i seen him hit 20k andup 5 games straight so theres no doubt in my mind that he is not a pro so i cast my vote for dragon-dash .

You are wrong, too wrong. ASI is a great factor, but not the most important one. Latency + Your own skill are the most important thing in LD. Just go spectate Brandondasilva in LD and see the terror of not having an ASI. He got only asi low and manage to beat a lot of people, so your argument is invalid. I just see 5 no-AT players in that lame list.

Funny x 2 : there's only one Jempire member in that list, so the 500 members of the guild will vote for him.
If people really want to know which player is best than others, there are been 3 no-AT tournaments with the same players in this list.
