Theoretical Curse Loadout

So, here's what you'd need:

-FOUR fully heated fausts/gran fausts.
-Full chaos gear.
-One elite quick strike module.
-One elite slash module.
-A swiftstrike buckler.

That means:
-Always having one faust that remains usable. (I hope, was only able to test with one piece of chaos)
-ASI Ultra.
-CTR MAX.
-Damage MAX.

So, thoughts on what you'd kill with this? Whether or not it would be overly powerful to have that much curse? Tests showing that full chaos does make curse affect all four fausts? Complaints about how much this would stink in FSC? Etc.?

MAX Curse penalty gives you

MAX Curse penalty gives you curse to all 4 weapons. I don't have a screenshot but I was with Black Kat Cowl and vog with 4 weapons, recon in LD. Someone's GF cursed me and I had all 4 weapons cursed. Couldn't do anything other than getting killed.
I assume that Chaos set gives curse penalty as much as black kat cowl does. Your loadout will not work I'm afraid.
Im making screen shot of it now.

Also Undead wont be cursed so FSC part is not even possible to prove.

interesting, but charge is bad anyway

The main problem is that Gran Faust charges so slowly: 10 charges per minute at CTR+2, and only 14 per minute at CTR+6. Unless I've made a mistake, you do much more damage per second against a crowd of slimes by charging DA than by charging GF. And you move at about 80% speed while charging. So the GF charge is just not great.

If you resign yourself to regular attacks, then you'll never self-curse, which is nice. But then there's no point in having four GFs (and you'll curse monsters less often?).

The other obvious problem is that you're weak to fiends and undead, which are arguably the hardest monsters in the game. But you could use this loadout on levels with no fiends or undead (and preferably no constructs either).

It is not possible to resist from Curse with 4 weapons.

You get cursed every 4 weapons with chaos set. Q.E.D.

Yay, cursed everything. That sounds fun.

So, since two pieces of curse vulnerable chaos will TOTALLY defeat the point, let's take one of those out...

New gear:

-The four lvl 10 fausts.
-Vog coat.
-Chaos hat.
-Swiftstrike.
-Elite sword focus module.
-Elite quick strike module.

This will mean:

-That you'll always have a faust to use, for sure this time.
-ASI Ultra.
-CTR MAX.
-Damage Very high.

There! Less damage, but more not-totally-broken!

The problem with utilizing gran faust for it's curse is that it's overkill in almost every situation. It one shots most enemies when it does effect them, but offers relatively poor crowd control at the same time. Enemies that spam die almost instantly, but enemies that chase you and beat you up can't attack you often if you dodge them. By the time you've charged for ten minutes and managed to get a hit off, your team mates will have likely cleared the room.

What would happen...

if you dropped the slash damage trinket and replaced it with a Saintly Silver Amulet?

Might that, at the very least, drop 5~10 seconds off of your curse time? Would the Gran Faust really benefit from the added damage bonus from the trinket to matter?

Well, if you solo, you don't need max damage. Nor you don't need any damage at all if you just want to curse everything.

hate the fact that 5* trinket is about the same as med (or high, not exactly sure) uv on armor.
The main point is not decreasing the curse duration time anyway.
