New weapon ideas?
"i was thinking the only poison inflicting sword is vile striker, i was thinking they should make a poison flourish or a poison alchemer "
What would be the benefits of a poison flourish? That's an interesting idea, but...would the poison be worth the damage decrease? It would have to be inflicted rather frequently.
A poison alchemers sounds really nice, though. I'm not sure whether it should be implemented in light of the Biohazard.
Stop with the flourishes. We need another piercing sword.
Don't need another alchemer, there are enough already. Think up another style of gun.
I think that winmillion should have eight 5* upgrades. One for each of the monster families and then some extras that are worthless. These worthless versions can deal poison. Instead of damage. They won't even pretend to be helping. Just poison.
All of them will be piercing, and the ones that fight slimes and undead will be classified as bombs, just cuz. Except the poison ones. Those will be considered a handgun and a bomb, and will deal no damage.
I would love 2 things:
-A piercing brandish line, possibly in the Snarbolax equipments style
-A 5* Winmillion

A piercing brand-
No.
I think for a poison sword they should give the nightblade poison it has no stat effects and the same damage as it's brothers when umbra gets more damage then it's stat brothers why is this exactly?
We already have an AoE gun, that's pulsar and catalyzer lines.
Both of them has AoE effects like explosions.
I came up with an idea for a claw-type weapon where it could swipe enemies fast (it of course wouldn't do as much damage in a single shot as other weapons) and could latch on to enemies so they don't run away. This would be a close combat weapon so it wouldn't be grabbing enemies from across the screen.
Another idea would be essence, they would be runes or pretty much any purchasable/obtainable item that you could fuse into weapons to give them special attributes. The attributes would be something like an attack speed boost or a burn effect.
claw-type weapon suggestion already exist. use google or the search bar.
there are essesnces already. they are called UVs. we do not want a curse brandish and niether you do. believe me.
A sword with slow attack speed, slower than the Sealed sword's (DA,GF), TWO hit combo with great knockback. Deals NORMAL damage. Has a chance to inflict SLEEP on the second hit and on the charge attack.Charge attack: powerful slash, covering 180° in front of the knight, followed by AOE attack which inflicts Sleep and some damage to all enemies in range (like the 3* Sealed sword's charge but larger).
WARNING! Sleeping enemy will heal itself (if It's damaged) until the status (sleep) expires or the knight hits that enemy.
Sleeping enemies can't move, can't turn, can't attack and can't be shield bumped.Sleeping Silkwings and gremlin Menders won't be able to heal other monsters.
1 sleep is not to be implemented because of balance.
2 Sudaruska is better: it deals stun, it has great knockback, charge attack has AoE and sends to Jupiter.
I think they should upgrade the CIV so that the charge attack latches out its chains to pull a mob in front of the user towards them, then deals a large amount of damage. The chain would hit only the first mob, the mob would not attack while it was being grabbed, and it would not be effective on boss mobs for obvious reasons. The normal attack would be like the CIV as it is now.
It might be better off as a new sword entirely, but the CIV is extremely underpowered and its graphics would work perfectly due to its effects. As far as its use, it could be very effective in grabbing enemies one at a time if they were bunched up together. In Lockdown, proper timing could pull an enemy away from their control point or haze area so they're easy to kill. Strikers and gunners could be caught before they escaped away from view or into their safe zone and smacked up. Of course it couldn't pull enemies out of the safe zone or past a barricade though. The animation would have to be relatively fast and the damage would have to be large enough to justify one target and having an enemy closer to you.

Mine bombs. This line would come in normal, elemental, and shadow damage with normal damage having a stun effect. With a large charge time, mines could be placed into the ground and would activate whenever a player stepped inside its small radius. The activation is not instant; a half second between someone triggering it and the explosion, the mine would light up red and make a sound. After its explosion, everyone inside that radius would take a large amount of damage, comparable to the Nitronome, and, in the case of the normal bomb, a stun effect. The mine would also cause a large amount of knockback. Only three can be placed at a time by the same user, additional placements would remove the one that was present the longest. If a player dies in Lockdown, all mines are removed instantly. In PvE, the mines would stay until the player leaves the party. They would activate if the player is down.
This could be used to protect points in Lockdown and attempt to take down an enemy trying to escape by putting them around popular paths. Additionally, a signal could go off for the player that placed the mine when it went off to alert the player (Open to debate). The mine would not be triggered by recons that are cloaked. In PvE, mines could be useful by placing them in mob spawn points. The damage would not be large enough to 1-shot most mobs without stacking three of them on top of each other, and the use of the mines would sacrifice a weapon slot, so I wouldn't consider them overpowered in PvE.

Lasers
Ok, here me out on this. We have the Polaris and Neutralizer, so I don't think that lasers would be too far fetched. These would be gun-styled weapons that only have a charge attack. The charge attack would be very long, and the charge would do very small damage. All lasers deal pure elemental damage and a status (Fire, Freeze, or Shock). The range would extend further than a 5* brandish, but it wouldn't go off the screen. The laser's attack would be a continuous stream of the beam colored in accordance with that status. When firing, the player would be locked in place, vulnerable to attack, but could rotate. The beam would rotate with the player, but the beam would only last for about a second each charge.
In order to prevent people from spinning around and around and affecting everything in range, the beam must stay in contact with the mob or enemy for 0.1 seconds before the status is applied. I feel like this could be very useful for applying statuses at long range as opposed to using bombs. Haze bombs would not be rendered useless as, with CTR, a haze bomber can permanently apply their status to an area as long as they are not hit. Laser users have the advantage of applying their status at a longer range in return for having to aim and the effect not lasting.

:D Let me know what you think! The purpose is to include new kinds of weapons to be useful in situations where certain tactics may feel overpowered while opening up new avenues to play for people who enjoy different mechanics of combat.
80% of people don't read past the OP. Your ideas are mostly unheard all the way down here past the 10th comment.
Instead of posting ideas in this thread, since the OP isn't going to become an index, you all should go make your own threads about these ideas. Then people can give more direct feedback and the ideas will actually get noticed.
I think spears would be nice... or a bow and arrow for a little change, oh! combos!!!!
Move this to the suggestions sub forum please.
