Is Three Rings ever going to address the Member Storage problem?

It seems like not a week goes by without some knucklehead cleaning out the member storage. And telling us to be more careful about who we grant access to it is nonsense. We will ever be able to modify the console to perhaps remove options, or perhaps allow us to set limits to how much can be withdrawn in 1 24-hour period?? And members putting mats or mod calibrators and such into Treasury wastes them completely!

(Mawashimono sighs deeply)

Is this suppose to be a suggestion?

No.1 If members want to put their mats to be shared, then let them be. Freeloaders love these types of selfless givers.

No.2 If you are blaming people who blame you for not being careful, then I suggest those who blame you to blame themselves, because either they are being a jerk for not having anything to take, or they are being ignorant because they put the stuff in there in the first place.

No.3 If you really want to share something of value and not want it stolen, I suggest you put it in the Veteran and Officer storage.

We don't have that problem in the guild I'm in.

In my guild, recruits are only promoted when me or my fellow officers feel we know them well enough and can trust them. A process that takes a week or two. Our mist well usually stays around 10k and people only take things from member storage for personal use.

This kind of screening is exactly what the recruit rank is intended for.

Without you! I am lost =0 I will never be the same without you!

We never have that issue in Eos....and we dont even have doors for our mist wells .... I guess it is more so the guild master/officer issue if they rank up players they dont trust fully or well let in untrustworthy players =0

I'm all for more control over the guild system, but I've got to say that that sounds more like a guild issue, I fail to see how "telling us to be more careful about who we grant access to it is nonsense." If you could explain why that would be nice.

An observation

People are less likely to steal from you if they actually want to be in your guild i.e. they fill out one of those lame applications or similar. If you invite random guys and promote them to member after a fixed amount of time then theres bound to be some discrepancies. I will admit that your suggestion has merit but not necessary with the right screening process.

Remember folks.

People want to stay in your guild and therefore doesn't tend to steal from your Storage, is not the same as, people who steal from you Storage and therefore do not want to stay in your guild (because they can continue to steal more if they stay).

See why this Guild Storage design is seriously broken? And let's not get started on Mist Well.

They will, but they will do it poorly and years from now. Or so it goes.

@Xxpapaya, A week ago, someone emptied out the member storage and left. You can check the records to se Hyperion putting the stuff back.

Yes, i can understand how this wouldn't be a problem for the elitist or wealthy quilds that can buy loyalty like EoS, but for a guild like ours that is dedicated to helping newer players advance in the game, it's an issue that needs top be addressed.

look like a hit 2 me =0

@Mawashingmachine --- Eos never has to buy loyalty we actually are strict and do not allow random noobs to join every five seconds. Majority of our core members have been in Eos for 1 year+ we are based on friendship. As for us being wealthy well we are not all wealthy in Eos, but we love to take care of one another when we can. Rule of thumb if your members are begging for items dont let them into your guild and promote them giving them access to your storage. Your guild gained like 200 members in less than 3 weeks and you wonder why you guys have these issues....

sorry if i struck a nerve NJ

Open mist wells would be a great way to keep members in the guild, of filling it with all kinds of junk that I bought or got free from SK would help too, I'm sure.

But as I said, our guild is dedicated to helping newer players advance, which means a certain amount of membership turnover is part of our guild's mission. Your guild is both elitist and maybe the wealthiest, so your self-praise about loyalty rings quite hollow. It would be great if you weren't turning everything into a sex joke or hosting one of the foulest guild websites I've ever seen.

I like the way you take advantage of every man you love =0

Our open mist wells dont attract more players, but unlike Lionheart we do not accept every player because we like overall quality instead of quantity. As far as getting free stuff well you can think what you want about that I mean their is nothing I can do to solve crazy.

I understand you have a lot of new members joining I mean if you let every player in you have to anticipate that stealing will be involved especially if you are ranking them up asap. I am sorry that you feel we are a group of elitist since you could never be Eos, but most players know Eos only allows the best of quality in our view. It would be great if you did not think we werent getting free stuff, but like I said not much we can do....btw when did we get a guild website? Since last time I checked Dogrock didnt buy us our own adult site! <69

I could never be EoS?

Hmmm, could of swore you asked me to join on a couple of occasions, which of course I declined since I don't like your brand of foul humor.

you "only allows the best quality" is elitist. Not saying it's wrong, just that it's a different kind of guild.

Recruits become members after 1 week in the guild, not exactly ASAP.

And , of course, u finished with sex joke, once again polluting the community with your low standards.

Its the way I am feeling I just cant deny but I got 2 let go =0

After your drama with Jempire you automatically were on our no fly list any application or attempt by you would have been declined since we try our best to avoid those drama related players.

No we only allow the best quality in terms of Eos which is based on personality not gear, money etc. <69 To you it may be elitist since you allow anyone in, but hey we take pride in who has Eos above their name. We like to play it safe and not have multiple partners!

Ah yes 1 week to become a member is not fast at all it takes about 1 month+ in Eos so I guess 1 month in your view is eternity.

What are these sex jokes you keep on talking about all I did was told you the truth....You always complain about not helping the community while you spread rumors of players cheating with out any proof why dont you take Eury's advice and do something useful for the community? Oh and thank you for allowing me to finish with a sex joke I hope you didnt get anything in your eyes ofc.

At Notorious Jerk

oh, so your elitism is in terms of personality, and you're holding yourself up as an example of such personalities? Oh, ok, i understand much better now....

One month might be fine in an elitist guild like yours, but for a guild that is mentoring newer, younger players, it is simply too long.

You said i was welcome anytime after I left Jempire, didn't bother to screenshoot it as proof. You only changed your tune after you took advantage of my friendship with you to scam me out of 22k ce.

And yes, you are offensive on many levels and not at all funny.

At both.

Please get over yourselfs.

Mash, you probally are a bad person if one looks back at the history of you.

NJthug, please don't, all this ends in hell.

Now, can you guys stop feuding?

BTW, didn't EoS do some good things for SK?

IE: Dogrock has a purple Spiral, and Eos sent some cakes.

Huh.

I want to quit life

The mist wells in the EoS guild hall are open to everyone, yes. They're ONLY there so we can drag poor helpless people through the clockworks with us while they cry and bleed on our smiling faces. We buy our loyalty by stripping the new member of their identity and putting them in my squidward outfit. This sucks any life and motivation out of them and thus they don't have the will to quit the guild.

At this point they've already been molested by Nj's sex jokes so hard they don't know left from right and can't make a quick escape to the forums to shout for help .. but you .. you got just a hint of a taste, not even an invite, and 'escaped'. Thus here you are spreading BS that sickens me along with your usual forum drama. This doesn't seem so much as a suggestion thread but an opportunity for you to grab attention again. Please top. I MEAN STOP. Totally not into demanding women. /coughsweat

As for this thread, what happened to the days when you received a kind thank you for helping someone out? If your guild really is there to help new players out but you deal with some greedy ones, just get rid of treasury and have them ask permission first. That or don't promote them. There used to be a guild that pooled together their resources and handed items out freely to people in haven .. whatever happened to them .. ):

I make them good girls go bad good girls go =0

Washingmachine --- Yup I mean I do not find it strange when a guy is not hitting on you, or ask around members in the guild if Nj ever hits on you lol.

One month gives us better quality member compared to one week and avoids players stealing from us (the whole point of this topic), but I guess you would not understand this concept since players just steal from your gh.

Lol if that makes you feel special thinking that you could be Eos I will let you think that, but sadly you been on the no fly list for Eos for ages we rather not have our members. As far as the prismatic plume goes thank you for that Ce I got myself this real nice skolver coat with that money. Feel free to cry over a player not refunding you after a trade went through do keep in mind you were willing to pay 28k ce for this same item when Cobalt was selling it.

Well I am done with this constant tugging back and forth fun while it lasted <69

Enjoy hating on Eos and myself, but I hope you sleep better thinking you could get into Eos <69

Also, as far as ranking and

Also, as far as ranking and stuff goes in EoS, it's not even concrete with how people are promoted. I've been in for a year plus and I'm still a recruit. So I don't know what you're getting at about "ranks" within a guild structure, or why it even matters to begin with.
