This has been an issue for a long time. But I thought waiting for a couple of AMD updates would work eventually, but it hasn't

I think this is an issue for this specific card. To describe the weird effects more specifically.

In firestorm citadel around the 2nd depth, some weird effects start to show up on materials and vial icons that get dropped on the floor.
Fire also looks very strange sometimes. Actually this issue has been most prominent in environments with fire.

These weird effects are most prominent in compound 42. In this mission it happens almost regularly while overall it only happens sometimes.

It is really strange and I can't seem to find out where this issue comes from. Whether its java or videocard drivers? Whether its something else?

What I do know is that this wasnt the case with my previous 6870 card, what I also know is that it happens on both my clean installed OSes.
