Spiral Knights Iron Chef Challenge *Contest* (70k+ in Ce Prizes)

Spiral Knights Iron Chef Challenge
So folks, we are here to create one of the most diverse contests in Spiral Knights. Narfle, Digicom, and myself sat down and came up with this idea. We all realized that the three of us LOVE FOOD. All we can think about is food, SK, and the gym. Oh, well, and some other stuff. So we wanted to create a Spiral Knights contest involving food, kinda how Three Rings hosted a pumping carving contest, and a food related contest.
Meet the judges:
Narfle --- He is a chill dude from a guild filled with perverts! He is from Impervious one of the most prestigious guilds in the game. A very laid, back easy going dude who likes to drink his tea.
Njthug --- Well most of you know me to be one of the crazy guild masters from Echo of Silence, and recently hosted an art contes with Digicom totaling up to 190k+ ce in prizes.
Digicom --- He one of the sexiest knights you will meet in Spiral knights and even in-real-life. Very trustworthy fellow. He is the proud guild master of Solo Art, and is known for being crazier than myself (Yes folks I support this message).
So what do we ask of you?
To create a dish or drink (matters on the category of course) for Spiral Knights. You will have to go in your kitchen and whip us up a Spiral Knights related meal. Now I know folks, you are thinking “Well we have no real food in Spiral Knights Nj, all our knights are just addicted to crystal energy.” So, we’re asking you to create a meal with a Spiral Knights related theme. This dish can be something such as a Vana mace turkey leg, or just a simple Wolver Soup. We are looking for easy-to-follow recipes along with just creations which will make our tummies growl. =0
Who Can Enter?
Everyone can enter regardless of your guild tag, if you are a game master, if you are a developer, or a chef in real-life. This contest is open to everyone that plays Spiral Knights. If you have an account, you can enter! Now folks have fun and I better see a dish from Nick, Boswick, Rose, Cronus, Helios, Ata, Clotho, Hyperion, etc.
Date:
Starting Date:
The contest will start on May 8th 2013
End Date:
The Contest will end on June 18 2013 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.
Rules:
- Two entries per category MAX
- No food plagiarism (Means don't go outside order a steak sandwich and post it as your own, do not get your mommy to make your whole entry, and most importantly do not ask Biscotti for help because she will throw dark matter in your meal).
- YOU MUST FOLLOW the entry format any entries which do not follow this format will not be judged.
- All entries must be edible (This means don't create something disgusting that no one would want to eat)
How to enter:
- 1.Category Name:
- 2. Name of your Dish or Drink:
- 3. Recipe
- 4. Work in Progress:
- 5. Final Product:
- 6. In-Game-Name
Breakdown-of-Entry:
- 1. The recipe must be the recipe you used to create your dish. (This recipe should be easy to follow so anyone who wishes to create the same meal you presented to us can easily create this meal)
- 2. The work in progress picture must show you around the half-way point. We want to see your progress so far, which will allow us to tell if your entry is valid.
- 3. The final product is simply a picture of the completed dish.
Categories:
Category 1: Appetizers
Create an appetizer which portrays a Spiral Knights theme. Examples: Mecha-Knight Soup filled with hearty chunks of screw-driver and bolt shape beef, or something simple, like Vana Nachos with a kick of spice!
Category 2: Entree
So folks, in this category you will create an entree (main course) which of course involves Spiral Knights. Some examples: Wolver Steak, a very delicious wolver steak carved out in a wolver shape, or even something as simple as Scuttlebot macaroni and cheese.
Category 3: Dessert
In this category you will hopefully create some amazing dessert delights for the Spiral Knights community. Keep in mind to keep a Spiral Knights related theme in your desert. Examples: Jelly King Jelly Puffs, Spiral Knights Banana split.
Category 4: Drinks
Well we all need a drink to wash down these amazing meals. So in this category you can create a drink with a SK theme to it. The drink can be alcoholic if you choose to <69. Examples: Love Puppy Martini, Strangers Whisky, Jelly King Smoothie, Gremlin Pick-me-up, Crystal Energy Drink.
Prizes:
Each category will have three winners (1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place). If all of the judges do agree that a certain category (sadly) only has one or two winners instead of three due to lack of epic entries we will just take the CE prize remaining and move it over to another category that has a bit more competition. The prizes are as followed:
- 1st Place --- 7,069 CE
- 2nd Place ---- 6,069 CE
- 3rd Place ----- 5,069 CE
Overall:
So boys and girls, have fun in the kitchen! Make sure you ask your parents before you start cooking (for those of you under 18 or those of you who are older and your parents pretty much don't trust you). We will love to see your recipes and hopefully cook them ourselves. I am sure Nick and the whole Three Rings staff will have a SK Food day if they love these recipes, so make them proud folks <69

Side-Note:
Keep in mind we want to be able to create these recipes. All entries have to have a Sk theme, but we are not looking for sculptures or well anything else. Just try to make your entries something a person can serve in a restaurant =0
*if you wish mail Digi, Narfle, or myself your idea before you go in the kitchen to get the a'okay its not mandatory or anything just if you want to double check your idea with us*

YAY FIRST POST! (after nj's ranting...) ............ hmmm... now... to think of something to make... !!! I HAVE AN IDEA *__* I'll make tomorrows dinner my idea!

Was a bit on the fence about entering another art contest ... but this. This I will enter. 'Cause I am a crazy good cook.

Sososo excited about this, can't wait to see some excellent SK-cookin' :D

6. In game name: ChanceGaming
Edit: Mine looks horrible but thats because I'm no artist :D It tastes very good however :D

Never thought I'd be so glad to have tons of friends and family that can cook..
Time to learn something that a man must eventually face.
The Culinary World! meets Spiral Knights!
Reserved for when I attempt this :D

Small Update/News:
I just realized we never asked for your in-game name so we fixed that on the entry format.
Chancegaming with the first entry for this contest woot woot great stuff man looks yummy (Love the gif)
Thanks the gif had 2 more pics in it but they didnt save properly and since I had already eaten it I cant just take the pics again :P

today entry I decided I'd try and make cheesecake... then I heard there was an SK contest. so.... here's your Crimson Order Cheesecake!
*Vbunny does NOT suggest leaving confections unattended near Herex at official Crimson Order meetings*
Mats required:
15 graham crackers, crushed
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
(sorry for the grainy quality I used an ipod touch for all these)
Preheat oven (always a cardinal rule in baking it seems) to 350 degrees F . Grease a 9 inch pie tin (not depth, but width we're not trying to make the cheesecake core =:3)
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press onto bottom of tin.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs one at a time (make sure the eggs are punctured when mixed then stir until there aren't those yolky stripes). Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour until smooth. Pour filling into crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 5 to 6 hours; supposedly to prevent cracking but mine turned out like this .
now this is the fun part... it's not a Crimson Order cake without the , right? so of course you'll use some sort of topping! (I went with strawberries since I had a pint in the fridge so why not?
all you'll need for this:
is a pint of strawberries, cut in halves
1 tbsp vanilla extract
and 1/3 cup of sugar
heat the strawberries, sugar, and vanilla inside a medium saucepan at about a medium heat setting.
be sure to stir frequently until the mixture starts to boil. at that point set the sauce to a simmer, stirring and mashing the strawberries for about a good 20 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken
oh well, if nothing else it looks a lot better with a complete covering over it
should serve about 16 or so gremli- oh who am I kidding I'm sure some lucky Mender would run off with it and shield bubble as he noms delicious cheesecake!
(minor edit stuffs: 1. Dessert category... may be debatable if you're for cheesecake for dinner :P 2. name: "crimson order cheesecake" 3. IGN same as my forum name here)

Make sure Biscotti doesn't make anything. HIDE YOUR DARK MATTER O.O

I can't wait to reveal it! Also I can't wait to make & Eat it x3 THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!
I'll say it's a dessert atleast :3 (desserts are popular cause they taste yum.)

2. Name of dish: Mumble Munchies
3. Recipe to make mumble munchies:
1) Prepare the following ingredients:
2x Long Korean Cucumbers (they tend to be more Crispy and hydrated)
10x Organic Cherry Tomatoes (organic, because they tend to taste sweeter, and larger, so when u bite into them, they explode in your mouth)
2x handfuls of Popcorn seeds
1x teaspoon of Olive Oil
2) Heat pan, when heated, coat the bottom of your pan with Olive Oil, place the Popcorn seeds in the pan, cook for 2-3 minutes then start shaking the pan until they pop (note that the pan needs to be covered with lid when doing so)
3) Wash your cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, after doing so, place the cherry tomatoes on plate, and the cucumbers after they are sliced.
4) What finished with step 3, popcorns' should be ready, place a bit ontop of the salad as garnishing.
5) Finished! You now have what it takes to conduct an Orchestra of Crunching sounds on mumble, have fun!

2. Thwacking good Gremlin lentil soup. (GL Soup for short.)
3. Recipe
-1 medium-sized onion, chopped to smithereens
-2 cups of (green) lentils
-A pinch of salt, more if you like sodium
-A teaspoon of olive oil
-1/2 cup of butter (Salted, unsalted, doesn't matter.)
-A tablespoon of oregano
-Mint is optional
-Finally, as much Sriracha sauce as much as humanly tolerable!
Directions are listed as follows:
i- Sauté the chopped onions until they turn pink, or a light brown hue
ii- Boil the 2 cups of lentils in a pot for about 14-19 minutes. If they have boiled enough, one shall know because the tightly packed lentils will soon scatter. Don't boil too much, however, or else the lentils will separate far too much!
iii- After the boiling of the lentils is complete, completely drain them with a strainer.
iv- Wait for the lentils to cool for about five minutes, then drop them into a large bowl along with the onions. Mix thoroughly.
v- Once you have mixed, get ready for the real tricks! Get some water boiling in a small/medium pot, then toss in the lentils and onions. Onc everything is in, start stirring the whole thing on low to medium heat, and toss in the stick of butter as well. Keep mixing all the contents for 4-6 minutes, then immediately transfer the pot to a cooler surface. (Namely a mat or another unused part of the stove.
vi- Pour your soup into a small bowl (must be enjoyed sparingly, no luxuries for Gremlins! That is, if you are a Gremlin...)
-vii Pour all the olive oil and oregano at hand, then add a pinch of salt.
-viii Put on the optional pinch of mint.
-ix Last, but not least, squirt on some Sriracha and let the sparks fly!

Category Name: Entree
Name of your Dish or Drink: Forbidden Fruit and Blaze Pepper Glazed Snipes
Recipe:
Ingredients
A Snipe (Cornish Game Hens or quail work too. I used a Rock Cornish Game Hen)
Forbidden Fruit and Blaze Pepper Glaze
6-8 oz of fresh or frozen Forbidden Fruit (if you're not living on Cradle and Forbidden Fruit is not available, Passion Fruit can be substituted. If you have something against passion fruit, apricots are a viable alternative)
4 - 8 dried whole Blaze Peppers (My supermarket does not carry Blaze Peppers, so I substituted Japanese Red Chiles, found in the Latin Foods section)
1/2 Cup water
Up to 1/4 Cup sugar, to taste
Instructions
*Thaw your Snipe, if it was previously frozen
*If you are using fresh fruit, peel and mash fruit. If using frozen, skip this step
*Combine fruit and water in a saucepan on medium heat. Use enough water for your fruit to form a slurry, stirring frequently. Add sugar by the tablespoon full, tasting as you go (be careful not to burn your tongue!).
*Add your peppers. You may add them earlier in the cooking process or near the end, depending on how much heat you want.
*Cook at a simmer, stirring occasionally until your glaze thickly coats the back of your spoon. With frozen fruit, this should take 10-15 minutes; fresh fruit will take closer to 30. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
*Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Place your Snipe in a shallow baking dish, making sure to remove any neck and giblets if they were included with the bird. Remove the peppers from the glaze and stuff them into your Snipe's cavity, then brush a thick layer of glaze on the outside. Retain leftover glaze.
*Roast, uncovered, for approximately an hour and a half, optionally brushing the glaze from the bottom of the baking dish over the bird once or twice during cooking. I did so once, around the halfway point.
*Your Snipe should have an internal temperature of 180 degrees when you remove it from the oven. Let rest 5-10 minutes, then remove the peppers from the cavity and retain.
*Mix a tablespoon of leftover glaze with a tablespoon of pan drippings, to be used as a dipping sauce.
*Serve with glaze dipping sauce and roasted peppers as garnish.

Made two of these for Sol and I and they were delicious. I'll have my second entree in about an hour ... it just came out of the oven. Dessert to follow in a few days (I'm still working out the kinks).

Category Name: Entree
Name of your Dish or Drink: Rock Salt Encrusted Reaper Ribs
Recipe:
Ingredients
1/2 rack of your favorite ribs (I used pork spareribs)
3-4 tablespoons salt-free blackening spice OR make your own with:
-1 tablespoon dried chopped onion
-1 tablespoon granulated garlic
-1-2 teaspoons pepper, to taste
-1 teaspoon paprika
-1 teaspoon oregano
-1 teaspoon basil
-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional; I did not use it because these were for Sol and he doesn't care for much spice)
1 bunch fresh Italian parsley
several sprigs fresh thyme
1 box Rock Salt (or coarse Kosher salt, if you don't live on Cradle. You'll need 2-3 lbs; I used a little over 2.)
2 egg whites
a splash of water
*Mix together all of the dry spices if you're putting the blackening together yourself. Add just enough water to your spice mixture (or your premixed salt-free blackening spice) to wet it and rub it all over the ribs, leaving a thick layer. Let ribs sit to dry marinade for at least an hour.
*Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
*Pour a 1/4 to 1/2 inch layer of salt in the smallest baking dish in which you can comfortably fit your ribs
*Mix the egg whites with enough salt to make a "wet sand" consistently and set aside
*Trim leafless stems from the Italian parsley and place a layer of greens in the center of the salt in your baking dish, then set your ribs on the Italian parsley
*Tuck the sprigs of thyme around the ribs, then follow with a generous layer of the Italian parsley, making sure that any areas that don't have a layer of fat over the meat have a good covering of the herbs; this protects your ribs from becoming too salty
*Pack the egg white and salt mixture around the herb-wrapped ribs, tucking the herbs in as necessary. There should be no meat exposed to the air. If your ribs are large or oddly shaped, you may need to make more salt and egg mixture to cover them completely
*Bake, uncovered, for about an hour.
*Remove from the oven and let sit 10-15 minutes; your salt crust should be hard and golden
*Crack open the salt crust and lift off of the ribs; you may need a heavy knife to cut into the crust. Remove the wilted fresh herbs and brush off excess salt. Discard salt crust.
*Garnish with a sprig of thyme and serve.

Ah Neko what will we be calling this entree?

I have returned again to upload another thing. this time in the Entree category. I think this would be called the...Stone Grove Pockets! (once again I have to apologize for the shoddy quality of photography)
bear in mind this is a 3 stage recipe, so I apologize for one more Wall of Text
first part... ! the Lichenous Bread
(pitas)
Mats:
1 package of yeast, or quick rising yeast
1/2 cup warm water
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoon (rock) salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 cup lukewarm water
Preparation:
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of warm water. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Let sit for 10-15 minutes until the water starts foaming.
Combine flour and salt in large bowl.
Make a small depression in the middle of flour and pour yeast water in depression (reminiscent of those mashed potato volcanoes most of us made as kids :3).
Slowly add 1 cup of warm water, and stir with wooden spoon or rubber spatula until elastic.
Place dough on floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes. When the dough is no longer sticky and is smooth and elastic, it has been successfully kneaded.
Coat large bowl with vegetable oil and place dough in bowl. Turn dough upside down so all of the dough is coated.
Allow to sit in a warm place for about 3 hours, or until it has doubled in size (I suspect the bread is part Lichen since you turn your back on it and it grows ginormous.)
Once doubled, roll out in a rope, and pinch off 10-12 small pieces. (probably the one time it's advised for adventurous knights to try dismantling a Lichen) Place balls on floured surface. Let sit covered for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 500 deg F. and make sure rack is at the very bottom of oven. Be sure to also preheat your baking sheet.
Roll out each ball of dough with a rolling pin into circles. Each should be about 5-6 inches across and 1/4 inch thick.
Bake each circle for 4 minutes until the bread puffs up. Turn over and bake for 2 minutes.
Remove each pita with a spatula from the baking sheet and add additional pitas for baking.
Take spatula and gently push down puff.
now the next a lovely Brimstone topping taken from the devilites (I assure you the old devilite recipe should be a bit more Knight friendly and less Rotten Egg flavor)
Reagents (also known as mats):
One can snipe-peas, also called garbanzo beans
1/4 cup (59 ml) fresh Yellow Shards (lemon juice),
1/4 cup (59 ml) tahini (it's like a sesame seed paste, I learned soon after it's a bit too strong for Peanut Butter substitute ^^;)
Half of a large Static Clinger (garlic clove, minced) (the more the merrier so adjust to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for serving
1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt, depending on taste
1/2 teaspoon ground Meteor Mote (cumin)
2 to 3 tablespoons water
Dash of ground paprika for serving
fair warning you WILL need to use the Alchemy Machine (blender) for this. best of luck not catching the engine on fire or making smoke come out... erm, not that this happened to me or anything >.<
In the Alchemy Machine or: press that button like a champeen LD Trolaris Spammar!
combine tahini and Yellow Shards (lemon juice).
Process for 1 minute. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl then turn on and process for 30 seconds.
This extra time helps “whip” or “cream” the tahini, making smooth and creamy hummus possible.
Add the olive oil, minced Static Clinger (garlic), Meteor Mote (cumin) and the salt to whipped tahini and Yellow Shards (lemon juice). Process for 30 seconds, scrape sides and bottom of bowl then process another 30 seconds.
Adding the Chickpeas
Open can of chickpeas, drain liquid then rinse well with water. Add half of the chickpeas to the food processor then process for 1 minute. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl, add remaining chickpeas and process for 1 to 2 minutes or until thick and quite smooth. (if it's too rocky looking and bumpity, just add a tablespoon of water at a time, and
*fair warning* if you do see smoke coming from the side or smell a slight burning scent from the machine, don't hesitate to just give it 10 minutes or so to let it cool down. it's food, not another attempt at ragecrafting :p
oh and last but not least: Gremlonium chunks that don't taste too Falafel
Testing Agents (mats again :P)
1 cup snipe-peas (chick peas)
1/2 large onion, roughly chopped (about 1 cup)
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro (I think you can find these herbs in haven, just you know, chop down yonder shrub and/or bushes)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2-1 teaspoon dried Blaze Pepper (hot red pepper)
4 cloves of Static Clingers (garlic)
1 teaspoon Meteor Mote (cumin)
1 teaspoon baking powder (since it's such a minimal amount I think you can trade powder for baking soda)
4-6 tablespoons flour
Soybean or vegetable oil for frying
Chopped tomato for garnish
Diced onion for garnish
Diced green bell pepper for garnish
Tahini sauce
Pita bread
preparation
1. Put the chickpeas in a large bowl and add enough cold water to cover them by at least 2 inches. Let soak overnight, then drain. Or use canned chickpeas, drained (canned would be so much faster and convenient. I had a hard time finding the dried ones >.>)
2. Place the drained, uncooked chickpeas and the onions in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Add the parsley, cilantro, salt, hot pepper, garlic, and cumin. Process until blended but not pureed.
3. Sprinkle in the baking powder and 4 tablespoons of the flour, and pulse. You want to add enough bulgur or flour so that the dough forms a small ball and no longer sticks to your hands. Turn into a bowl and refrigerate, covered, for several hours.
4. Form the chickpea mixture into balls about the size of walnuts.
5. Heat 3 inches of oil to 375 degrees in a deep pot or wok and fry 1 ball to test. If it falls apart, add a little flour. Then fry about 6 balls at once for a few minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. mine kinda looked nuggetty but I'm sure you'll have better luck than I did Stuff half a pita with falafel balls, chopped tomatoes, onion, green pepper, and pickled turnips. Drizzle with tahina thinned with water.
Terribly sorry for so much pun, and for the massive wall. I assure you tis tasty :p

I have no idea which recipe to try first! Make the decision even harder--get your submissions in today!

Thought I would share my own SK-themed recipe: Mini Jelly Cupcakes!
Ingredients:
8oz fresh strawberries
1 cup sugar + 2 tablespoons
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can whipped cream (you can use fresh if you want, I just like the shapes the canned stuff makes :3)
*Please note: you will need a cupcake/muffin pan to bake the cupcakes, but you will also need a cooling rack and regular baking pan of approximately the same size (you'll see why later).
1.) Wash and slice the strawberries. Place the strawberries in a bowl, toss with the 2 tablespoons of sugar. Set aside (this is called maceration--the sugar crystals will break down the strawberries).
2.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray/butter/etc. your cupcake pan and set aside.
3.) In a large mixing bowl, cream together the rest of the sugar with the butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and continue mixing. Finally, add the vanilla.
4.) Sift together the flour and baking powder. Combine the flour mixture in with the creamed mixture a little at a time (the batter will be thick). Finally, stir in the milk until the batter is nicely combined.
5.) Return to your macerated strawberries: there should now be several tablespoons of strawberry juice. Evenly distribute JUST THE MEATY PART of the strawberries--we'll need that juice at the end--in the bottoms of each cup in the cupcake pan, and then evenly spoon the cake batter over the strawberries. Bake for about 20 minutes (the cupcakes are done when a toothpick comes out of a cupcake cleanly).
6.) When the cupcakes are done baking, remove the cupcake pan from the oven and carefully run a thin knife around the inside of each cup to make sure the cakes aren't sticking to the pan.
7.) Combine together the reserved strawberry juice and the powdered sugar--it will form a nice jelly-pink glaze.
8.) *This is the tricky part*: when the cupcake pan is cool enough to handle (but still warm), place the cooling rack on top of the baking sheet, then place the rack/baking sheet over the cupcake pan, and flip over the rack/sheet and pan together. If you have prepared your pan well, when you lift the cupcake pan the cupcakes should be sitting upside down on the cooling rack/baking sheet--if any of them stick, just carefully run your knife around the inside of the cups again to pop out the offending cupcakes.
9.) Again, while the cupcakes are still warm, evenly divide your pink glaze over the upside down cupcakes--use the knife to evenly spread it from the top to the sides. Any excess glaze will fall through the cooling rack to the waiting baking sheet underneath.
10.) When the cupcakes are cool and your glaze has set, top each Mini Jelly Cupcake with its own crown of whipped cream!
~Enjoy!

Almond Sliver Shankle S'mores
3.
Materials:
-Large marshmallows
-Graham crackers
-Almond slivers
-Flat chocolate bars appropriate for s'mores-making
-Campfire or toaster oven
-Aluminum foil is useful
Alchemy Instructions (fancy, toaster oven):
1) Set your toaster to light toast, and give your marshmallows a light crisping. They probably won't be golden-brown yet, but that's ok.
2) Pull them out, and spread some slivered almonds on the tray. They are tastier toasted, but you have to be careful as they burn easily.
3) Return to the toaster oven for another round, this time a little longer until the marshmallows are ready. Keep a close eye on the almonds.
4) Pull the marshmallows out and pincushion them with almond slivers. Place the chocolate on top and cap with a Graham cracker
5) Slay and consume.
Field alchemy instructions (campfire): Same as above, but you will be using a campfire (watch out for fiery or ashen shankles!), and it will probably not be possible to toast your almonds, unless you have a tray of sorts. Preparation and cook time is about 10 minutes.
4.

Gather your mats.
