Hai guyz, Z here, and wanted to pitch and idea of a new weapon: Vanaduke's Mace. (I know u wants it :3) So here is weapon description:

-TPM: Recovered from Lord Vanaduke's childhood home, this knight-sized mace will prove a a very powerful weapon indeed. Knight's wielding it sometimes feel the urge to pity Slag Walkers.

-Weapon description: A miniature version of Vanaduke's mace: not too hard to picture right?

-Weapon attack combo: Starts with a large sweep, similar to a Troika, and then the second sweep is a smashdown with an explosion, similar to the Troika's charge attack (but much less over powered)

-Weapon charge attack: Like Lord Vanaduke's fire attack, the player will perform another smashdown, but will have a bigger explosion and a fire remnant, similar to FoV's charge attack, and will send tracking fire in three directions.

Weapon is five star

Weapon does elemental, normal damage

Does around 300 damage first hit and 400 damage second hit at depth 24

Does around 575 damage for charge attack and then has a good chance to inflict strong fire on monsters not immune to it.

This weapon can be obtained for 100 almirian seals. (Yes I'm mean)

Looking forward to feedback, Thanks!

1: I think it would be straight lines of fire, instead of tracking.
2: Maybe this could replace the Fang in the FSC token rewards, instead of having both available. FoV could be worked in somewhere else, but this works better in the lore.
3: I have no idea about the scale of those numbers.

emmmmm....

I think the damage should be more around 200 and 250 on combo, and 400 on charge. The numbers you gave sound more like those to a monster weak to that damage type.

Also, since this is a boss item, I had some ideas for a couple of new boss items....

Vorpal Blade (Snarbolax Sword)

Scorcher Helm (Roarmulus Twins Helm)

Blast Minis (Jelly King Bomb)

Torin's Shield (Vanaduke Shield)

Hmm....
Wanna hear what they are?

This doesn't work lore-wise

First things first, her name is Justice. Secondly, Vanaduke didn't have the scepter when he was a child. Shortly after he returned to his kingdom after being warped and corrupted by the fire deity, he snatched up one of the elite Almirian court advisors and forged them, armor and all, into his scepter. So there's only one of them, because it didn't originate from Almire.

Too OP as the damage is freaking 300+.

Description should be: The Rattle of the once-baby king we now defeat regularly today. It is forged in different types of metals, and can do insane amount of damage regardless of the fact that it is a mere stick.

Well, if it's based on Vana, it could do pure normal or maybe shadow. There are too many elemental swords.
And there's no shadow sword with a status, other than faust.

Vanaduke is evil, you can justify it.

Good point

Against constructs on depth 24 should probably do 250-300 and 400 for the charge attack (level ten of course) and I think it should be shadow, as that would make far more sense.

well in that case...

We can just say it was the actual one he used, but we...shrunk it? Or maybe it's magical and fits the hand of its user. (That's what the model does in SSpy :P)

hmmm....

good point on the lore. Hmm..........

It could look different from the mace and be the "Scepter of the King."

"A long lost wand, used by the King of Almire when in battle. Many can here the pleas of Almire as it was crushed under Vanaduke's cruel rule when they wield this ancient mace."

Sure, it's not terribly creative, just taking a boss's weapon and giving it to the player, but I want it anyway.

How to make it work lore-wise:

"After years and years of studying the mace of the fallen king Lord Vanaduke, the top swordsmiths
of the Spiral Order have finally figured out the formula to make a stable, knight-sized replica."

It makes sense, having to beat vanaduke for it, to retrieve the original mace and study
it, and it doesn't really conflict with the story in any way at all.

thanks for credit.....

not sure if I deserve it, but hey. Lol. Also, your description was fine, you just didn't know Vanaduke's backstroy. =D
