Mission System (Mix of ideas) for more add-ons to this game...

^Yes long title did not know what to title this.
Well I have to admit coming out of the whole preview playing this game for a long time I have to admit I am getting pretty bored. Mainly since Pvp is gone, and well the maps are the same old in a sense. I think some new add-ons on this game would seem cool, and here are a few ideas I came up with. I know already the Dev's are busy, and I am not asking to implment any of these right away I am just asking when you guys do read this (I know you guys read the forums a lot), but well I guess write them down if you like these ideas. For the people reading this topic add-on anything you wish to...I really dont mind if you find my ideas stupid or anything like that its all opinions =).
Okay so time for the whole list of ideas I guess:
1. Missions - Well now many people are suggestion missions, but I was thinking something a bit more to do with missions. I am not asking for a mission like okay go save the Price of Spiral Knights from the dungeon now that just seems lame. I was thinking more you go to a Npc in game around the Arcade, and this Npc will ask you if you are up for a mission (challenge/to prove you are a real Spiral Knight) *Not sure on the wording* So, you go up to this Npc and he says: Fellow Knight, are you ready to prove yourself? (You have an option: yes or no) if you pick No...nothing happens. If you pick Yes. This guy will give you a "mission/task/goal". The mission would mainly be something not so hard, but pretty fun. Go kill 150 jelly, kill 300 undead monsters etc. It will mainly be a task to kill x amount of one type of monster. Once accomplished you will be given a random award (item, tokens, random amount of crowns) *NO CE CAN BE OWN*. Each task will cost the players 15ce, and you can only do two tasks at once. You can give up on a task at anytime. Also, I would say have a counter option to show how many more you have to kill until the task is completed.
2. Survival Mode - We have Danger rooms in this game, but lets be honest most of them are not scary at all. So, I was thinking to have a survival arena. To enter it you need all 5* gear, and it will cost 15 Ce. This is not found in the dungeons its a special area in the arcade or something (Maybe a cave you enter)....so well whatever. The point of this is simple you will have 3 waves of monsters (The type is always random you can have Oilers with Rocket puppies and some random fiends, or you can just have all Gremlins and Construct)....So basically its always random, and you will not know what you will be up against. These special rooms will have 18 waves (6 Stages) after each stage (3 waves per stage) you are given full hp, and some boxes etc. before you start the next stage you are given an option to head up or go down further. If you do go down all your heat, is still kept to make people wish to keep going. Invite is turned off during these stages so no one abuses the system inviting friends to get cheap revives etc. Whats the point of this you might ask? Well its simple you gain heat, crowns, and materials which are all random, and on top of that its pretty challenging not knowing what type of monster you will be up against you have to pick your best weapons, shield, and armors =).
3. Pvp - Just bring this back please I honestly liked how it was even though graun faust and divine avenger OWNED oh and Sentenza.
Why would everything cave to cost CE? why not crowns or mist? Or how about free? We need something to do when we run out of energy.
I believe CE and mist are somewhat interchangeable in this case. If it were free, there would have to be no rewards, and it would simply act as a practice ground at that point. No risk = no rewards.
But I need something to do with all my crowns, as the only thing really going for me right now is buying CE. I literally have nothing else I want to spend my crowns on in this game, and I'm sure there are others like me out there. .____.
I also feel like you didn't really read my suggestion, and that's sad, because I said that it definitely should NOT be an energy cost (especially if it's intended for the "more experienced" players).
And from what I understand, the PvP cost crowns, not energy, so it was something for people to do when their energy ran out.

Well I understand why it should cost Crowns, and with your feedback I would change the following:
1. Should cost 5k Crowns
2. Should still cost energy 15ce per stage though (Why Ce you might ask? Well lets be honest these stages would most likely be farmed by players with giant heat, crowns, and mats drops I would guess the dev's would make this cost ce only because if it was not it would damage the economy in my view)
3. Pvp = Crowns for sure *It was in Preview as well*
Side-Note:
When material drops are happening along with you gaining a lot of crowns/heat I think it will always cost energy because with those mat drops and crowns it allows you to buy more energy. I know there not much to do with crowns, these dev fixed this problem for a short-term period by raising the prices of recipes, and most likely are trying to implement a long-term fix sooner or later.
Side-Note:
Most games I see to make players waste their money in our case (Crowns) - You have to add small stupid stuff such as pets, shoes, guild hall items (which cost crowns and Ce)....just my viewpoint.
Wait- doing a quest should cost 5k crowns? That sounds really counter-intuitive to doing a quest for rewards. D:
Or did you mean more like- An initial cost of 5k to get into the "Danger Arena" and then 15 CE to progress between stages (like ritzier elevators)? But I don't know, I'm sitting on roughly 7k CE myself. And I'm done crafting everything I need to craft, so the only reason to have CE is to grind through the Tiers, essentially (for me). And I get a bunch of mats I don't care for (that'll no doubt be sold for crowns when the auction house goes live), heat that's unnecessary because I don't need to level anything anymore, and crowns that only serve to purchase more CE.
And what's worse is that I've been helping new players along the way. Today alone, I pretty much took someone from not having a clue about the game to being Tier 2 capable/ready. It cost me something like 500 CE, and some worthless mats, but it didn't matter to me, 'cause it's not like I have anything else to do.
If you ask me, this game needs pets (cough...snipes). And they need to cost like 50k crowns, at least. Sure, it'll turn off a lot of new players to wanting a pet. But the way I see it, they now have a goal outside of grinding for gear. From my stand point, if they don't add more crown sinks, the CE market is going to do nothing but rise as people progress through the game, because crowns become useless past a certain point.
In order-
1. I like that this game doesn't have missions/quests that are simply a bunch of grinding. Maplestory almost only had grinding quests, and this is why I quit playing Maplestory. I would, however, like to see other types of missions/quests. Something as simple as "Complete a Tier 2 run!" (which is kind of grindy, but at least it's more variety and you could pick which gate you want and whatnot). Maybe they could make it a mist tank upon your first completion, and then x amount of crowns/tokens/heat/whatever else (randomized) if you do it more than once. Maybe put a cap of like, 3 times a day though. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of quests to be had in terms of variety in most MMOs. Even WoW had (has?) some pretty grindy quests. The only other quests that wouldn't be terribly grindy would be to defeat the bosses. But we're already rewarded for doing that with tokens.
2. This sounds like an amazing idea. It also sounds like the arenas we have now, but with more depth. Like, danger rooms combined with arenas and a handful of absurdity. But I think it should be a crown fee (say, 10k?), as those who have all 5star gear no longer have a use for crowns, and 15 CE is probably a pittance for them, so it would only cause a huge inflation in the energy market (as much as I hate to be the one to make this thread about energy, lol). It's true though- if they can get more than 5k doing one of these rooms, then they've already profited, so to speak. As it would have cost them 15 CE, and they would've gained 85 CE from doing it (as they really have no use for crowns). Otherwise, make it open to all players. But I really like the idea of giving people who have already reached the Core something more to do than just go through the depths of the clockworks (or farm Jelly King, or farm Vanaduke).
3. I uhh...personally don't care for PvP. I read somewhere on the forum that they have every intention of bringing it back, though, and that it was supposedly only taken out to fix it/spruce it up.
I didn't play during the preview (though I think that would've been a really cool experience, and I'm so jelly of everyone who got to), but even playing from when it went live, I feel things are already a bit stale. I understand that it's a relatively new game, but it's a bit concerning when I log on, and the 38 smiling faces of my guildies that used to greet me are no longer there. Having beaten Vanaduke, I also feel like there's really nothing left for me to do in the game. Sure, I could tempt fate with Vanaduke until I can get a Fang of Vog, but in all honesty, I don't even want a Fang of Vog. I really think that to up the variety some, they should add more levels like the ones in Firestorm Citadel. I found those to be the most interesting, and the ones that required some actual strategy and (preferrably) some teamwork.
