These have been around forever and it's really embarrassing that they haven't been fixed yet. I'd like for people to contribute to this thread so we can gather all the tooltip shenanigans in one place. The ones I can recall is:
- Gran Faust and Divine Avenger having wildly different speed bars. Gran Faust indicates that it has more speed when, really, with the enormously slow charge time it should perhaps be the other way around.
- Snarbolax cap and coat giving no indication to its negative curse resistance.
- Triglav stating it inflicts strong freeze when it actually inflicts moderate freeze.
- Sealed Sword giving no indication as to its random status charge attack.
- Electron Vortex giving no indicator to its shock-infliction.
And then there's bomb speed bars...
- Irontech Destroyer shows it has more speed than Big Angry Bomb. They have the same fuse time and the same walk speed. Only speed-related thing they have different is the charge time. Does charge time change the speed? Okay then, but how come...
- Charge time reduction does not affect speed bars. Equipping Swiftstrike Buckler does. The only thing Swiftie helps you with is planting and lifting time, and those are the same on all bombs.
- Nitronome and Irontech shows very different speed bars even though they have the same charge time.
- Nitronome and Dark Retribution show the same speed bars. Shouldn't DR have a higher speed bar and a much lower damage bar to indicate its multihit nature?
- Shard bombs have the same speed bar as Nitronome. The shard core detonates a little faster than Nitro while the shards themselves detonate as slowly as Irontech. Speed bar should either have a much higher speed bar to emphasize the multihit nature or a much lower speed bar (same as Irontech?) to reveal the slow detonation of the shards. Keeping it the same seems weird.
- Vaporizers have the same speed bar as Nitro as well. Vaporizers take longer to charge, but they're persistant. Is the idea that both can be used for as much supression? It seems like it should be the same as Vortex. Speaking of which...
- Vortex has the same speed bar as Irontech. They both slow you down to the same speed, but Irontech charges much faster than Vortex. On the other hand, Vortex detonates faster and has that persistant effect.
tl;dr the heck is speed bars supposed to represent? Maybe just remove them?
Both sudaruska and khorovod have nothing on their tooltips mentioning stun, yet kamarin does. All 3 can inflict stun.
