Hello everybody. My spiral knights name is Ultrabaconman. I am rank 6-1. I am part of the guild Bacon Slayers. I am new to the forums and I would like to know what I need to know for future posting. If anyone could help me out, that'd be great!

Welcome. As Jiker says, search the forums before starting a thread that's probably been started before. But don't search through the search bar. Just go to Google (or Yahoo, or Bing, whatever) and search for "spiral knights forum YOURTOPIC". And make good use of the wiki. And vegetables really are a good idea. Enjoy. (P.S. Thanks, Jiker.)

Hello there.Welcome to the forums. The guys above me have already posted most of the information that you will need for the forums. Yes, even knowing x= (-b +/- √(b^2 -4ac))/2a, it will come in handy with math. Just have fun, and post away. One tip though, when looking at a forum, look at the date. If the date is over a month old or older, don't post on there. That is necroing a post, and people don't like that. Other than that, you should be fine.

Usually, if someone does not have a forum avatar, some peeps tend to say "lol u noob get off forum u don;t have avatar durrhurrhurr." This is because most people who are indeed new to the forums do not have an avatar. It's basically being racist. So yeah.

Yes! Google topics too. Also to search for specific words or phrases, on your keyboard hold CTRL and then press F. This is another useful search tool. Use your own judgement. If you think that something is bad or will harm someone else do not do it.

BEWARE OF TROLLS
Ultra, my best advice is to NOT say anything on any forum since it seems most responders are trolls, who arbitrarily like to insult. This response of mine is a rare moment I participate-but watch the troll responses to my post for the point I am making.

Do not suggest pets, dual wielding, marriages, races, or removing the energy system. Do not swear. Do not be racist. Do not spam (unless instructed to by Original Post, or OP). Do not hate unless you have solid evidence to back your opinion. Do not divulge any personal info. Get a forum avatar so people take you seriously by going to the "Forum Preferences" button near the search bar at the top of the page. Bopp is every newcomer's best friend. Use the Spiral Knights Wiki before asking any questions. Use the search bar to look for threads on a topic you want to discuss before creating your own. Use things like strong and em to make your posts look fancy. Type good English. Dance occasionally. Voice your opinion, some of us want to hear it. Ignore hostile Knights, they have no life. All of the CE promotions are Sega's doing, not Three Rings. Use the in-game reporting tool to report players violating rules, such as the second law of thermodynamics. Do your homework. Study for finals. Eat your vegetables. Spend time with the family. Memorize x= (-b +/- √(b^2 -4ac))/2a. Be nice. Have fun. Use #2 pencils. Turn off appliances when not in use. Never drive a Prius.
