There are songs, both good and bad, that have auto tuned vocals. And the same goes for songs with regular singers. Singers who use auto tune will never be concidered as better than singers with true tallent. Only in rare cases can singers with auto tune perform well without it. But we all know only the ones who does not use auto tune are categorized as good singers.
The problem with auto-tune is the same as the problem with auto-target.
People say "That is not real skill!" but guess what? They still make use of a tool that has been provided for them, and they still do well enough against the competition with it. There will always be people that can use their voice to sing well, and there will always be people that can use autotune to come out on top, and in the end, they will both find success.
Or at least that would be the way it would work if the music industry weren't so corrupt.

It's not off topic, he's just comparing auto target to auto tune, as was I. Some people need AT to compensate for poor latency.
I find that mostly EU players use AT, which is respectable even if I'm not a fan of AT usage

@Thunder: both ATs are good in only one sense; the ability to occasionally make us laugh from how bad they are. Like when I turn on AT and full combo hammer for a whole LD game, and then marvel at how I get 10k without fail or effort.

Also autotune isn't always bad. It made Neil deGrass Tyson sound reasonably good. Apart from the cheesy lyrics.
