I am sick and tired of coming to the forums and see so many complaints and so many people whining !!!!! like realy if you do not like what the developers are putting into the game don't &%&% and whine about just leave the game there are more and better online multiplayer game in the sea
why so many complaints ?!!!!!!!
The forum community does seem really... disgruntled.
What really confuses me is that there are a definite group of forum goers who immediately try to twist ANYTHING OOO tries to do into something negative. I can understand going on the forums to complain, but there are people are who are trying to FORCE themselves to hate OOO. THAT is what really confuses me.
i totally agree anything good three rings does there always has to be some one to turn it into something negative and its really starting to annoy me how babyish this community is ~
I am bored, don't expect further things happening from me.
That... was a surprisingly entertaining read. And actually pretty accurate for MMOs.

Did you even read the complaints?

I already left this ship long ago for other far more interesting games to me. But I wish I could get back to this, because I have always said this game has really good potential - but it has been drifting away from its original purpose, and that is why I still post here. It could be that maybe this game isn't made towards public such as me either. This game... just doesn't feel like it felt time ago. To me.
You know, the whole exploring randomized levels that had enemies hard as rocks that made adventuring exciting.
Maybe that new difficulty that will come may solve that? I just want a challenge that doesn't require me to farm for one try, paying or having to take off my armor to provide fake difficulty.
Edit: And I still feel being trampled on as a bomber continuously.
complaining about complaints, acting childish while being "tired of it"...
lol I'm not even gonna try to reason with you. you're like OOO. you're right, I'm wrong. no matter what you do, no matter what I do, you're right and my opinion does not matter. that's why I dknt even play this game as much anymore. devs that don't care about community? nty...
I'll just max out my BS when he comea out and then quit until something changes. sad to see such potential go to waste.
And now we're complaining about complaining about complaints...
Shall we take this to the next level?
I just think that this community complains to much about what comes into the game like seriously do these people even consider taking at least a week of trying out a new update because the devs work really hard to put new content into the game and everyone seems to take it for granted
I am righting all of this on my tablet so I did not feel like it .
I'm writing this on my miniature 4" phone and I still have more puncuation than you.
>tells people to man up and not be kids
"I dun wanna do ittt"
Lol red then mabey you feel like doing all of that taping and opening/closing , but I sure don't.
You don't get rights to complain about complainers until you've been on forums for at least a year,
Thread ENDED.
"Why is everyone complaining? Why don't you just go to a different game?"
Because they see the potential in THIS game and want THIS game to improve, so they and everyone else can enjoy it more.
@Thunderbog I SEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUUUU.
And even if people could just hop on the luxury liners and forget about the sunken ship, there are some divers who want to try to pull that ship back up to the surface, since it has some things that others don't.
"like realy if you do not like what the developers are putting into the game don't &%&% and whine about just leave the game "
so i take it you want spiral knights to lose most of its community? (not including players who recently joined) just look at the shard bomb, lack of content, questionable updates like the ui the fact that you can no longer rev other players (will be introduced soon), there are so many things that the majority of the players did not like... now i understand there will always be a bunch who dosent like this or that but complaing about the people who are complaining is not helping.
Welcome to the Internet!!!! Mwhahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:)

this is what lonely people do now. complain.
somebooty teach me how to change fonts.
Night-Rove, i just copy 'n' paste from Page Source, but what you do, i think, is put alot of < strong > and < code > together. (like 12 of 'em!) followed by the same amount of < strong > and < code > but with / between each one.
---
Example:
a HTML like this: < strong > < strong > < strong > < strong > < strong > < code > < code > < code > < code > < code > HI :) < / strong > < / strong > < / strong > < / strong > < / strong > < / code > < / code > < / code > < / code > < / code >
Makes the HTML look like this: HI :)
---
I believe every Strong+Code HTML tag is one extra font size.
---
Teach it to everyone you know!
Much good has been said already, but I will add this.
There is much about Spiral Knights that is compelling and enjoyable, and honestly, I don't think people have a lot of great choices when it comes to MMOs games. Take itemization; the weapons in Spiral Knights DO DIFFERENT things. When you pick up a Calibur, it behaves very differently from a sealed sword. The rocket hammer is sort of like a heavy weapon, but has an intermediate swing unlike any other weapon in the game. There are a few other games that essentially change how you fight based on the weapon equipped (GW2, for example) but it is a very distinctive feature. I could name at least half a dozen really wonderful features in Spiral Knights.
I think the complaining starts when people don't know why they play. What makes the game engaging for you? Personally, I wish that Three Rings weren't taking so much feedback from the players. Once you start catering to the vocal minority, the whole endeavor loses some authenticity. I played and loved a lot of the same games as Nick and Ian; I think Spiral Knights would be better if they were still making the game THEY want to make.
Frankly, I have played a lot less since the UI change. I have played for two years, and have rolled with a lot of changes. Not all of them were my preference. I have failed to get any mileage out of the new combat moves. But I can point to a lot of things in the game that were genius.
I totally and entirely agree with Kilbride and Aumir.
I don't play SK since UI change. I tried hard to get used to it at first but I can't. I really tried.
I lurk here at the forum from time to time and I see more incoming changes that seems terrible - like the new revive system and such - but it doesn't matter much ATM.
I didn't care much when OOO were tinkering with crafting system - I don't like playing economics. I like playing games. I don't care much about getting rich fast. I was playing SK for great Arcade runs and I was having a blast since Beta.
I didn't care much when Missions were introduced. Sure I found it strange they're changing the game from sandbox model to theme park model, but still I could ignore missions and play mostly Arcade as usual.
But UI change was too much for me.
And to OP. You said:
"(...) just leave the game. There are more and better online multiplayer game in the sea."
Please good sir, show me some of those. Since April I'm desperately trying to find a place as enjoyable as SK used to be. I've tried Vindictus (that I have played a bit long time ago), which isn't that bad, but community is pretty lame there and after YPP and SK I'm used to other standards.
Some things I'm looking for is:
- Original, slick design, not something generic. I'm pro artist and I won't be satisfied in a long run with something like WoW. Check out Banner Saga with it's Eyvind Earle inspired art or Monaco, what's yours is mine with it's unique style.
- Original character system. No generic roles, races and other D&D rip offs. I'm looking for a character that doesn't have locked abilities/playstyles so I can reply every part of the game trying something new each time I play.
- Weapon system that makes difference in play style for different weapon - weapons should work differently, not only deal different amount/kind of damage. I look for different attack patterns, combos and the like. See Diablo3 for extremely BAD weapon system.
- I don't want to pay in order to progress and explore the game world. I don't mind paying if I find game enjoyable - For example I have over 30k Crystal Energy ATM and vast arsenal of 5* gear (check my wiki page) and never ever have I purchased Energy with Crowns so all this Energy comes from my real wallet. But never I felt like I was forced to pay for exploration and progression.
- Good, original soundtrack
- Humour, pop cultural references, witty NPCs and funny flavour texts.
- High quality community. It doesn't have to be made of Gwen's clones only, because let's face it - miracles don't happen, but I'm used to standards sets by people like Tersakoff, Luguiru, Pauling, Hollafamer and the likes.
- There are more but I don't want to turn this post into blog or something ;-)
I'll be grateful for a help. If I will be directed to the game that REALLY proves to be as good as SK used to be, I'm willing to log into my SK account and share the wealth :-D
First off:
I completely agree with you, this game is great, but the changes are....not so great.
I can't recommend many games but a few oldish ones for the PS2 ("What is that daddy?" XD) Champions of Norrath, Champions: Return to Arms, Baldor's Gate: Dark Alliance. Note that they do have a class set up, and I don't like them much either (as in the class set up), but you might like them. If you don't, hope someone can help. :)
Because we like to think that complaining about things we don't like will fix them. Which it sometimes does, albeit rarely.
And recently we've had a lot of things to not like, and therefore complain about.
~phones aren't that hard to type on :3
There are not just one of the likes of ye.
The sea varies many as vast as it is, it contains big ship filled with people, fishes and sharks in daily life under within, or a sunken ship of mere nothing but seaweeds.
Where is this bringing ye to? The big ship? The daily life of the peaceful fishes and hungry sharks ruining the fun? Or ye are the ones who will venture down a abandoned ship?
