Did Lug already do some of this? I'm too lazy to check. Paragraphs with a '**' before it is the implementation method.

  1. Remove all the 2* alchemers except for Prismatech, and make all the 3* ones require the 2* Prismatech. This is to make it more like the Brandish in terms of getting UVs. Do the same thing for Haze Bombs and Shard Bombs, using the 2* Haze Bomb and 2* Shard Bomb as the bases for each crafting line. (Exception is Static Capacitor, which stays as boss item.)

    ** Change all existing 2* items to their particular replacement. If a player has a single recipe for the removed weapons, it should get replaced with the replacement's recipe. If a player has more than one recipe of which would get replaced, for each lost recipe they get sent either a 1k crown refund. Or maybe some other refund? For example, if I had a Splinter Bomb recipe and a Shard Bomb recipe, the Splinter Bomb recipe would go away and I would get sent 1k crowns.

  2. If 1. isn't possible, then remove the Brandish. Make a 2* Shadow Brandish, 2* Fire Brandish, and a 2* Freeze Brandish. The Cautery sword would get upgraded from the Shadow Brandish, and Shockburst would get upgraded from either the Freeze or Fire Brandish, whichever is more fitting.

    ** Brandishes may all get changed to 2* Fire Brandishes...or everyone with a normal Brandish could trade it in for any Brandish of their choice, and keep all the heat and UVs on the new one. (Though this may not be possible.)

  3. Chaos should get Shield Charge Time Increase: High per piece. This makes it take longer for your shield to recharge. By how much, I'm not sure.
  4. Plate should get Shield CTR: Low per piece.
  5. Volcanic Plate which gives Shield CTR Med per piece.
  6. Ironmight get Bash Power Increase (BPI): Med per piece. This increases the stun, damage, and knockback of the shield bash.
  7. Ancient Plate should get BPI: Low and Shield CTR: Low per piece.
  8. Jelly gear (including shield) should each give Sprite Focus Increase: Low per piece. (Reduces Sprite skill cooldown by 5% or something for each stage.)
  9. Royal Jelly should get SFI: Med per piece. (For a whooping 30% cooldown decrease with a whole set.)
  10. Ice Queens should get Sprite Damage Increase (SDI): Med per piece. The increase would be equivalent to that of other damage increases.

Complaints? Recommendations?

If we remove the 2* brandish

If we remove the 2* brandish and replace it with elemental variants, then you overlap with the Edge lines. And how do you get from Prismatech to Shadowtech? Or Shard Bomb to Dark Matter Bomb?

Better idea for the brandish: Remove the Fireburst Brandish, Shockburst Brandish, Iceburst Brandish, Nightblade, and Cautery Sword. Make the Brandish 3*, extend the Edge lines to 3* to match their respective armors, and make Edges branch from the proto sword. Also, add a Freezing Edge. And an ember gun. And make the corresponding guns and bombs stem from the proto stuff. Same for the armor.

how about...
we give each brandish weapon a 2 star variation for the weapon line to nerf the blandness of it. Or even better yet, make them actually unique and not just reskins with slightly different stats.

Next how about we instead of completely revamping the jelly weapon line we I dunno.. give it an actual buff?
give it some thing instead of sleep, I don't care, curse, fire, just something.

Nooo! You can't extend the edge lines! There was an issue with that before. The Haze bomb used to be 1*, and all the other haze bombs branched from it. The issue was that you could get UVs for dirt cheap with them. (10 bombs per alt, instead of 2.)

In other words, edges couldn't become 5*. That's why I'd prefer the 1st option over the 2nd.

While that would be great, to have unique brandishes, I'm making somewhat modest suggestions here I think. I'll leave the whole brandish revamping thing to someone else. (Or maybe myself another time.)

Jelly was to be unique. It's something with Sprites liking you because you are tasty or something... xD

I already went over the brandish...
Make the Flamberg shoot fire balls with a massive explosion and stuff(air born, explodes after some distance/hits a thing), give the ice one a thing similar to the HoI bosses ice blast were it functions as a freeze beam of sorts(grounded), it deals damage per second and freeze making it a good damage but actually freezes things. Give the shock one 3 grounded pulsar shots.

Not the whole line, just those specifically. 4* and 5* versions are unchanged, and the Brandish gets moved to 3*.

These are good, but what about Gray Feather and Skelly? Seems weird to give extra bonuses to Jelly and Plate, and not the other defensive armours just because.

Jelly and Plate have much better options than GFC, GFM, WOS, DSS, DSM, and DSM. Cobalt replaces plate, and skolver replaces cobalt and ip, while VD/vog replaces VP. The owlite and skelly sets also have better stats to resist because stun resist in pvE isnt as great as shock or freeze.

We should give jelly stun, fire and poison. Make them a bit smaller in resistents then the others but not enough to make it useless, maybe at most a whole bar.

No, i don't like the idea of

No, i don't like the idea of this, why use prismatech for the other alchemers ? This makes the uv farming and uv market even higher. For the brandish, i thought that we could have a "normal" version wich does normal damage with a chance to cause the stun status. The colors of the explosions from the charge attack and the "lines" on the sword could change color and use the player colors.
