I tried searching for existing threads on the same matter, but everything I found was either about something else, or the advice given was to uninstall the game, reinstall java, update video card drivers and reinstall the game.
Well, I've done all that and my graphics are still broken. Compatibility Mode doesn't help either.
Every 2D effect is messed up. Item drops become an incomprehensible mass of color in a square, as do weapon effects (the shiny aura on Gran Faust or the smoke coming out of Barbarous Thorn Shield). Enemy projectiles flicker in and out of existence, becoming invisible every half a second. Torches in Firestorm Citadel become a flickering mess of colorful squares.
This does not happen in ANY other game I play, and it's not a case of graphics card overheating because this will happen if I've had my PC off overnight, I turn it on, and Spiral Knights is the first thing I do. It happens instantly in the very first part of the very first mission I go into. And again, other games look fine.
I honestly don't know what else to do, or why this is happening. Please help?
It's the same for me! Do you happen to use an ATI HD7950 VGA?
