This thread is for all participants in the 'Fashion' aspect of the Spiral Knights Olympics 2013 and will be open until Tuesday 13/8, so you will need to post your entries before that deadline. SpiralSpy is NOT allowed and ALL entries must be from preview window showing knight's rank, name and prestige, this is to screen out cheated entries made by SpiralSpy. Please be aware that only ONE participant from a guild may only post ONE entry, if there are multiple entries from one guild, that guild will be asked which entry they wish to enter, the other entry/entries will be ignored completely. Please also note that once you hand in an entry, that will be the only the entry judged and you CANNOT send in another entry for whatever reason (eg. you think you found a better costume) only your first entry will be judged. This aspect of the olympics are being judged by Akikita, Soothsayerboomer and myself. If you have any questions, feel free to pm/mail any of us three or Theoncomingfire (Host of the Spiral Knights Olympics 2013) at any point. Hi, I'm Venomousbiohazard, and I'll be representing "The Night's Watch", for the fashion aspect.
I've taken photos of the side, front, and back. Hopefully you'll be able to take a good look at my character.

My costume has been modeled off a lizard demon from the underworld. A mixture of haunted aura, poison from my suit, and dark miasma from my shield gives my set an evil, "sent from hell" look. A fancy mohawk and a dusky plume were added onto my helm to give my lizard demon a rougher "warrior" look to it. Fancy wings and a bomb bandolier adorn my armor, enforcing the "demon lizard" look. The souls of every creature I've collected circle around me restlessly, a warning to those that dare challenge my wrath.

Congratulations on winning once again. Your costume was obviously the best entry for this year. I liked the way your entire costume, armor pieces, accessories, even your weapon, matched. Where you stood out above 2nd and 3rd place was from the way your costume had a multi-coloured scheme which you kept consistent throughout. There's not much l can say to improve your costume, so well done.

Congratulations on coming 2nd overall. The shiny gold colour scheme you kept consistent through your costume was very impressive. Your choice of shield was perfect as the golden sash around the shield blends in quite nicely with the rest of your costume, the aura also added a nice touch which earned you 2nd place. As with 1st, there is not much l can say to improve your costume, well done.

Congratulations on coming 3rd overall. Your costumes firey scheme was very well done. I think a better choice of helm would have been the matching Infernal Guardian Helm to go with the armor, with accessories, such as vents, plume/feather of red variant, or demo helm (the red coloured one which l can't remember the name of). That would have kept your whole costume red, and also, in my opinion, would have looked better as you had the volcanic wolver tail, a demo helm with some vents to give a more wolver/cat like look may have landed you 2nd. Nevertheless, well done on 3rd.

Your costume was a bit of a mess overall. You had accessories that didn't match each others colour schemes, the valkyrie wings weren't volcanic (which l know are pricey but..this is a fashion contest unfortunately). The ribbon and candle on the Mercurial Helm look out of place but they were at least, blue. My advice would be for future, use a different head piece, possibly Crown of the Fallen, if you don't want to use the cap that goes with your armor.

Your costume had a nice samurai theme to it, as you so stated in your entry. Choosing acheron as your weapon was also a good move, as it is the only 'katana' in the game. The cat tail however, was where you lost points, it looks out of place quite significantly, as does the golden laurel. On the other hand, the crest of storms is a nice touch, it stands out positively with the rest of your costume. The scarf also adds a nice touch to the front of your head piece enhancing that samurai vibe. For future, l would recommend removing the tail and laurel, otherwise use a demo helm with vents to give a cat like look, although the armor is a bit bulky.

Your costume was rather unique, when compared to the other entries. That tangle of accessories together looked interesting at first sight but then became unappealing. The purplish colour scheme you kept constant throughout your costume went nice with the prismatic accessories you had, as well as the Acheron. The proto crest however ruins the entire colour scheme, and l would maybe remove it in future to keep the purplish scheme consistent.

Your costume was rather plain, but in a good way. The crown was a nice touch but overall didn't really blend in with overall colour scheme of the surge pieces you wore. The crest of winter didn't blend in at all, the crest of storms may have been a better choice if you didn't have the crown of winter. For future, maybe add a pair of surge wings, or 1st gen wings that can possibly blend in with the colour scheme of surge, consider also replacing the crest for a parrying blade.

Your costume was made nice by the choice of head gear you picked. The golden of the chapeau fitted in nicely with the surge wings and crest. The overall white of the skolver against the golden gave a nice colour contrast. I would say however, the eye of fury was too dark in colour and took away from the nice contrast your costume had. For future, maybe consider equipping the Fearless Rigadoon to add to the golden contrast your costume gives off, as well as removing the eye of fury.

Your costume was rather out of place. The dragon wings, while fitting in with the overall colour scheme, do not go well with Heavenly Iron Armor, a pair of valkyrie wings may have been a better choice. Your helm was also not very fitting with your armor piece. For future, consider using a chapeau of dark colour, any of coral/violet/black will do, also consider changing your dragon wings to valkyrie wings.

Your costume was very plain. The only thing you had on your divine set was a pair of dragon wings, of which the colour scheme did not even match. Dragon wings also do not go well with cloaks, so for future, consider switching to divine dragon wings to give an overall white colour scheme, or switch to a pair of 1st gen/valkyrie wings. Some vents for the veil also give a better overall look.

Your costume pieces chosen didn't go very well together. You could have used a chapeau of bright colour, or a Valkyrie Helm to give a better overall look. The canteen also did not go with the white of the skolver, and also took away from the overall look. For future, consider putting on a divine canteen, or possibly a crest instead. Use of a different helm may also be a better choice.

Your costume was rather plain. The blue colour scheme wasn't very appealing sadly. The eye of fury was a nice touch to add to the overall look, but was undermined due to the unappealing colour scheme of the frosty costume pieces. Your weapon also did not match, you could have used a glacius instead, and unequipped your shield. For future, consider possibly going with a different choice of armor piece, possibly the frosty cloak.
