Good day to you all,
If you are reading this, you're either after a price check(s), are curious as to why I created this thread, or for some other trivial reason.

1.0 - A New Price Check format will be used.
How Does This Work?
1) You make a request with the proper format. The more requests, the longer it may take.
2) I check/review the request(s). Since I got a ton of studies, the new format is to keep accuracy and eliminate so much excess time.
3) I process the request(s). Do not expect historic data or such; it takes too much time to reference it out. Do not worry, I will still research/gain proper accurate information for each request; I just won't go through the time-consuming typing that is needed to reference it all.
4) I officially release the professional price check request's response. Of which, I respond to the request with price check information accordingly.
5) You can then view your resulting price checks. If you have any questions or concerns on the accuracy of any professional price checks, please feel free to ask. I'll explain my reasoning, sources, or whatever references needed to provide an accurate answer.
Note: Price check requests could be delayed by up to a week if too many are requested or if i'm suddenly hit by a ton more RL studies.

1.1 - Price Checking Policy
1) I will prioritize Professional Price Check requests that have fee's payed in advanced.
2) I will prioritize prompt responses to those that seem nice and display gratitude; for they clearly deserve to be prioritized <3
3) I will respond to Professional Price Check requests at my convenience. Although I no-life gaming considerably, I still have a life full of constant studies, part-time work, & tasks. I do much of this effectively in advance, so that no-lifing the game is made possible. Otherwise, I tend to multitask A lot.
4) Full Price checks are automatically made for advanced fee payments. These are also automatically made for active players of notably good reputation.
5) I will provide Short, though still accurate, Professional Price Checks toward requests where fee remains pending.
6) Short Price Checks are automatically changed to Full Price Checks following the arrival of its corresponding fee(s).
7) I will be very, very sad if you make me price check an item and never pay fee.
8) I reserve the right to change and/or remove this Policy and it's related aspects should I want/need to.

1.2 - FAQ
1. What's a Professional Price Check?
"It's a price check that's not free", (Raptor-Zy). -Light humor intended.
In all seriousness, it involves Actual references to Auction House Sales, Street Sales/Purchases, and other Factual data. Therefore, creating an Up-To-Date idea on a certain item's value. The price checks also involve potentially difficulty for selling, deflation or inflation concerns, and bonus details.
2. Why is it not free?
Because it involves spending time to collect the appropriate data to respond with an accurate perspective on a certain item's value.
Compared to a price checks made completely out of personal, potentially biased, opinions on a mere whim.
And, It can easily take me 10mins - 40mins of my personal time for each price check; so a minor fee shouldn't hurt <3
3. How long does it take to create a Professional Price Check?
Given that I have a lot of data available to me; any potentially difficult price check shouldn't take to long to make. The only delay is how long it takes me to view and respond to a Professional Price Check Request.
4. Is this legal?
You tell me. I have absolutely no idea if this is okay or not. And I'm overly-self conscious to boot. If a GM tells me to close/change thread; I'll do so as quickly as possible. Otherwise, It'll be left open.
5. Why are you doing this?
Lots of free time, Lots of Data collected, & Lots more Data to collect.

Base fee of 5ce, 8ce if trouble-some/specific, or 10ce if complicated.
There are two options; a Skip-the-details blunt answer or the full answer with details.
Often, if you want a quick response, I'd minimize details though still give an accurate price check.

Future View: 5ce. What is this? I will visit the time keeper to understand whether or not the item will potentially inflate or deflate.
Trading Value: 5ce What is this? It means I have to accurately price check the value of whatever you're trading for to assure that the trade is bad, fair, good, or great. Get extra details for 1ce more <3

1. You will only be refunded if the price check is found up-to-date inaccurate.
2. Refund does not apply to misunderstood dated price checks; e.g., "Made an accurate Price Check on 8/20; Then you use same price check 2 months later"
3. I place refund policy here because I'm confident in my price checks; I cannot say the same for my typing.. Typos are possible.
Please be aware that Up-To-Date price checks are Literally as told. Any Updates/changes to the game can Influence the value of said items; thereby counter-acting a price check made before said changes. An idea of how potential updates may negatively or positively influence the Up-To-Date values is part of the optional requests

How is this better? You have a merchant with less experience charging money to price check items. Sounds worse.
Although at times I've wanted to charge people who bother me excessively for price checks, I don't really see the reason to be greedy about it.

And these aren't opinion made price checks. I don't base this primarily off experience either. I go search forums, threads, data, friends, auction house, ect to find Multiple references Per price check for accuracy. That's time consuming.
This isn't a serious thread.. Well it is.. It's a mix of serious/light humor?
Who said I have less experience? I no-lifed the game 3 - 5+ hours Every day, daily, for the past half-year; more-so since it's still Summer for me. :3
Was epic trying to balance it out with constant studies.

Unbind 4* costs 1800E. Item costs 30 Almirian Seals. Each seal is valued often at 1kcr Ea (Given that players tend to buy Ancient plate, which is 30 tokens, to vendor for 30kcrs.)
Current Energy Price: 8114 Sale. 8114*0.02 = 162.88~ 8114-162.88 = 7951.12~ 1800 = 100*18~ 7951.12*18 = 143,120.16 crowns + 30,000 crowns = 173,120.16 crowns. That's the value of a UV-Less Blackened Crest.
For shields, Defense such as Normal, Pierce, Shadow, & Elemental aren't valued as much due to their minor changes in stats compared to head/armor equipment; even when maxed. Status UV's are slightly more useful at times; though still varies according to the shields base stats.
Year+ old record of attempted sale of Elemental High Blackened Crest at 6kCE. Sale failed. CE prices then were 5kcr - 6kcr/100CE then.
Estimated Present Day Value at 238,530 crowns to 397,550 crowns. Format: (Minimum to Potential Maximum.)
397,550 + 238,530 = 636,080
636,080/2 = 318,040 crowns
Difficulty of selling: High+
Numerical: (3+)~
Format: (Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth selling) Is a scale of 1 - 5.
Price Checker Notes:
Most players would rather farm 30 tokens to purchase a Blackened Crest rather than spend over 1800ce to cover unbind; with the exception of Max UV's. Course, lazy rich players exist. Often though, they already have and/or purchased whichever gear they wanted; Given that your UV is High and not Maximum, it normally isn't favored by a rich player of who'm tend to target the best UV's available.
Sell at and/or below minimum value to increase chances at success. Selling at the average is what the Difficulty is automatically based off. Selling near potential maximum would likely consume a lot of time/effort or require a very lucky chance.
In addition, UV'd Gear tends to have Stable values. They don't really deflate or inflate unless an update/change messes with the UV rolling system.

Sold 280kcrs - 350kcrs average during June; Around Storm Event when players believe it would crash on re-release. When it was not re-released; it went up twice; at 560kcrs - 700kcrs average; (Around 7kE - 9kE) It will crash nearing next Summer as players get concerned over re-release.
560,000 + 700,000 = 1,260,000
1,260,000/2 = 630,000 crowns Estimated at 7,946.5 Energy
Difficult to Sell: Easy+

Format: (Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth selling) Is a scale of 1 - 5.
Price Checker's Note
Summer crest should be relatively easy to sell at Minimum to Market. Market is In between Easy and Moderate. (Hence the Easy"+")
Selling at Market - Max should only be between Moderate - High in terms of difficulty. Pretty high odds that the estimated value will increase over time; until it reaches a point where it may begin deflating. So yes, don't take that risk. Sell after it's inflated a good amount and BEFORE it begins deflating.
Why might this occur?
SK players easily get concerned over future events; this influxes prices as a result. Like when Mist removal was announced, CE price skyrocketed for 1 day only; then stabilized 1kcr - 1.5kcrs above what it was Before the announcement. Then it crashed after the actual release. This is an awkward example of how the player market can be mistaken and cause misfortune lol..
Potential Summer event will negatively influx the price of this item.
I mentioned this multiple times to exemplify how important it is xD
Addition Details:
Summer Crest is likely to inflate steadily toward a peak of around 10kE - 11kE. (In the Winter - Spring range as mentioned below)
Avoid selling during good promotions that drain Energy out of people; novelty items tend to temporarily lose value during these scenarios since players Focus on the Present-Day event items.
Take the Storm Event & Halos/Wings/Tails Event for example; both events devalued unrelated items due to many players buying the event items; Often, they were able to buy the event items due to mass/quick/under selling unrelated items to Afford buying these event items before the event ended.
Price check is small because I don't know if fee will be paid or not :c

Recommended: Focus selling weekends, holidays, and Promotions that Bring in CE to the economy; the following range should be good:

Doesn't have to be as thorough as the first one you did there cuz that'd be a lot of work. No need for previous records etc.

Personally, I undersold a Blitz CTR VH at 18kCE + 35kcrs to Tigar several months ago.
1 month or so ago, there was a 22kE buyer, for autogun CTR VH specifically, who'm I believe was Furynator, though my memory might be off by a bit.
Taalt had sold a Blitz CTR VH at 22.5kCE on 7/01/2013.
Unbind is invalid factor for items below 3*. Price is entirely based on the UV itself.
Records remain accurate. Value will not degrade nor inflate unless something is made to make UV's harder or easier to obtain.
Estimated Present Day Value at 1,517,530 crowns 1,797,075 crowns. Format: Minimum to Potential Maximum
1,517,530 + 1,797,075 = 3,314,605
3,314,605/2 = 1,657,302.5 crowns. Estimated at 20750 Energy.
Difficulty to Sell: Moderate+
Numerical: 2+
Format: (Easy, Moderate, High, Very Difficult, Not worth selling) Is a scale of 1 - 5.
Price Checker Notes:
An Autogun [CTR VH] will definitely not be too hard to sell. Honestly, the primary concern is simply finding someone willing to pay fairly for it. Since most rich players tend to try and get the lowest price possible. Do not undersell this. I learned this the hard way >.>
If you can't find a buyer, just try again during different times of the day, or on different days. Timing is needed for sales involving valued items like this.
Of course, this doesn't apply so much when you happen to be very lucky, then the buyer will just come to you without as much effort. Otherwise, it would take a moderate amount of effort.
The minimum value for this is seriously the least you should go for on this item. Aprx: 19kE. 20kE - 22.5kE is a fantastic price given its star.
Right now, the Wings/Tails promotion had drained many rich players of funds. Therefore, (Just like when Storm event inflated everything, then crashed when ended), any UV'd items won't have a decent enough market to sell quickly due to potential buyers lacking the needed funds. I'd recommend attempting to sell during the next CE Purchase Promotion. If you do not wish to wait that long, I recommend leaving notices with casual/serious merchants to help make advertising easier. A key action I used to do when item hunting was turn to Numerous merchants; who often know a lot of rich costumers :3
There is no point in holding in hopes of inflation. However, there is risk in the event where a Prize box event is released with UV ticket drops. Those scenarios drop UV item value Slightly. As I've mentioned before, UV Item values are stable, even when this occurs. Aside from that, the elimination of UV alt crafting should have inflated UVs; but this was counteracted by UV ticket drops in forge prize boxes & increased crs/100CE which makes Rolling UVs easier. Throw in unlimited crs farming and everythings Stable instead.
Also, be wary that Ce-Draining promotions usually have players Targeting the promotion items; thereby devaluing everything else as a result. This is scary when it's a good promotion (The Wings/Tails/Halos Promotion for example). So avoid selling during these and focus on ones that Bring Ce into the economy.

15,000CE for a Fire Max Magic Hood. This was a month Before the sprite update.
5000CE + 6 TF2 Keys for a Fire Max Chaos Cloak; Sold by Denek. 11,000CE - 14,600CE (Varies by value of TF2 Keys; It was likely around the 14kE - 14.6kE range at the given time for the value of TF2 keys.)
Price Checker Notes
Great set you got there. The problem is finding a rich player that is interested enough to purchase it at market. Selling it at minimum would make the sale a lot faster whereas selling at max may take several weeks or so. Considering that heating gear is harder after the Battle Sprite Patch, having the Magic Hood/Cloak at 5* Chaos Hood/Cloak might look more favorable toward rich players. Therefore, Selling it In between Market/Max might be a good price. For the cloak, Shadow Med only adds a minor bit of value.
Also, the Hood is worth more than the cloak, and surprisingly, tends to be easier to sell in comparison.
If you have any specific questions to ask regarding the items in further detail, feel welcome to ask ^^. The prices for them are stable and are unlikely to inflate or deflate. Please be wary of any updates that might influence UV values.

Historic Records
I've Personally sold/bought quite a few Shadow Max Wolver Caps;
Often, in the 4.5kCE to 6kCE range.
Anyways, I am also well aware that Snarbolax Cap is the best 5* wolver cap for Shadow Max specifically.
Price Checker's Notes
Item is good, the issue is that the market for it is a tad low. It's a shadow lair item; so it shouldn't be too hard to sell compared to Shadow Max Wolver Cap, which is 4+ in terms of difficulty. I'd recommend going 8kCE Minimum; Max 14kCE. Good Sell during times when the market is influenced by a gear rush. Usually when there's an odd amount of higher-end gear buyers; often during Promotions that bring in UV tickets and CE. Good luck selling ^^
Price might influx a tad since it's an SL gear item. Though not by much.

From what i have seen, extensive information is gathered to make all these up to date price checks, if Raptor-Zy continues to monitor the market and takes time to provide accurate price checks, i don't see why a small fee is a problem. Problem only arises if Raptor cons or provides misinformation, and ive met Raptor ingame, pretty chill and nice person, definitely doesn't seem like the type. Im all for this idea, for those that don't like this, simple, don't use it.

If I recall correctly a CTR VH, ASI VH Neutralizer sold in Auction house recently at potentially several million. The last I saw it was around 1.4m - 1.9m Medium. Probably was a considerable bid war at short/very short. Anyways, you also take into considering that CTR VH, ASI VH is rather pointless on a Neutralizer; so it's more Collectors than Use.

Anyways, to assure accuracy, I had to constantly search for veteran players that had either seen, bought, or sold Any ASI VH & CTR VH Weapons. I average out the data; then add it according to 3 factors. How it influences the base stats of weapon, How it is looked at collector wise, & How much most rich players are willing to pay for one. Surprisingly, numerous ASI VH & CTR VH weapons have sold and bought in that price range the past year and a half.
Please be aware that you could easily oversell this beyond market if you find someone that Really wants it and is rich enough to pay high. Otherwise; most buyers would only be willing to pay around market. Their offers will vary.

Personally bought and sold a couple of these in the 50kcrs - 100kcrs range. At times, I have seen them sell 100kcrs+ before.
Timing & Luck determines what you can sell it for in the given price range. I'm serious. If you sell when players aren't buying or when there's several in Auction House/Street, value is automatically on the low end. Only on market - high end during greater demand than supply; which is rare. So timing/luck is rather crucial.
