What do you guys think about it? Who will be the new antagonist (that may be the new boss)? New missions after 10-1 = more lore (finally!) ^.^ We killed the mad ruler of Kingdom of Almire, even though many monsters from all monster families united to stop us (why?). We succesfully reached "The Core: The path is sealed". The path is sealed but there will be new missions which means depth 29 isn't the last depth and we'll go further which means we will enter The Core.
I decided to look at the Storm costumes' description. Storm Dragon helm's description "An enchanted helm crafted into the visage of BEAST (maybe Vog?) who some believe created the world in its passing: ITS FIRE (yeah, that must be Vog) the sun, its bones the mountains.", Storm Champion helm's "The helm of one who defied the GODS and STORMED the gates of a HEAVENLY KINGDOM. Some say the thunderclaps are the eternal echoes of her siege.", Sorm Avenger helm's "A helm worm by HEAVENLY GUARDIANS who watch over a KINGDOM hidden atop a snow-covered mountain.", Storm Rider mantle's "A legendary suit of armor thought to be WORN BY GOD who used lightning to CARVE WHOLE WORLDS from stone.".
We have some super OP gods and some guys that stormed these gods' kingdom/realm. Who are the Avengers? What about The Fallen? The Sprites (in D25 in FSC)? And we still know almost nothing about them. It seems there are mountains on Cradle but we haven't ever seen them! "snow covered mountain" Wut? We've seen snow only in the CWs... We really don't know anything. So many questions and a few answers...

Now back to the topic: the antagonist/boss. I think it will be something Swarm-ish... Maybe the Dark Titan? Dark Titan is just an Arcade gate but have you seen its icon? The Swarm's eye in the bottom, with two big hands going up and trying to catch something - a little dot. IDK what is that dot but the Swarm wants it... maybe the "Heavenly Kingdom"? Yeah, that's still just an Arcade gate BUT if we look at the greek mythology, we can see that Gaia (aka the Mother Spririt in SK) created the Titans. They were rulers of the world but Zeus and the other gods (titans' children) started rebellion, defeated the Titans (well, with some help from non-god creatures), then SEALED all Titans and KRONOS-the youngest and strongest titan in the UNDERWORLD. Nick is Zeus and all devs are greek gods. Their names show it xD
I think that the antagonist is Dark Titan, sealed in the Underworld, in the Core, trying to escape and avenge using The Swarm.

I have too big imagination, don't I? :O

It's obviously Hyperion 'cause she's mad 'cause she didn't get a yacht like the contract said so she will be going rogue and mess with random players' stuff. Got a triple max Final Flourish? "Too bad", Hyperion says as she turns it into a couple of Ecto Drops.

There wont be a new boss

First,there wont be a new boss after mission 10-1 if there will be a new boss our ranking is the highest rank:Vanguard
Then what should they do if our rank is a vanguard and whats the name after vanguard? And it wont be have rank 11-1 in the game.
Think about it :)

Since ranks' names are somewhat abstract and totally off the top of head (as in all fantasy/s-f games) I don't see an issue with introducing ranks above Vanguard.

Let's see what cradle has yet to offer:

Gremlins: we have the entire Crimson Order yet to see (Herex and his other fellows) and King Tinkizar (if he really is what we think he is: no one has ever saw him but the crimson order..)
Construct: who knows, maybe gremlins have upgraded Tortodrone..
Fiend: where is this famous Torjan Legion?
Undead: did kats cause the TOTAL mass extintion of owlite wizards?
Beast: I don't think it's worth thinking about them..
Jelly: Idem...
The core: ok, maybe we will never open it, but maybe something can exit: Vaelyn said it seems it can't be open but only from the outside..
The swarm: I think it should stay only a shadow lair privilege..
Strangers: they are here before us.. What are they? Do they know something about the core we don't know yet??

Is there anything else?

nobody here ever heard of King Tinkinzar?

seeing the artifact we took came out of gremlin hands i think this would be the most obvious one (but then again we allready have seerus as a DLC boss, so maybe not)

or maybe vog? tortodrone? giant lizard boss? fiend boss? hope this will hit the game soon because i'm burned out in the game :( i reached the goal i wanted a long time ago and now just do the occasional run... i even stopped lvl'ing my sprite at lvl 70 something because i can't get myself to play that much anymore.

"Artifacts"
It's obviously the Alpha Squad, if you read EVERY artifact, it says the Core opened for the Alpha Squad ALONE and then closed behind them, leading to the swarm infecting the Alpha Squad.

Since the game revolves around YOU, (remember the starting missions) the gate will probably open for you in 10-1 and you can explore the core and finally battle the Alpha Squad.

Gremlin King on surface maybe, just maybe.

Wrong.

It says in the artifact at the core it opened and a brilliant light shot out and opened for 4 knights (Alpha Squad).

So the core DOES open, but if it has to open from the inside, who opened it? *DRAMA*

Derpuraptor Strikes Back

Come on guys, think about it. Why would Vanaduke come from D28 all way to haven to get a blue device? He doesn't even fit onto an elevator. Seerusly tough, Seerus and Razwog, which are both Crimson Order members, are dead. The only one that is actually known to us is Herex, it'd be logical if he'd be the antagonist to continue the artifact storyline. Tinkinzar himself isn't in Crimson, Crimson are his royal henchmen/elites.

As for the boss, it's probably gonna be the Shadow/Corrupted Tortodrone.

The Artifact's utility

Perhaps it is the key that undoes the seal that keeps the Swarm locked up in the Shadow Lairs. Or perhaps it's the key to the Core, and the Swarm is trying to get it to open the Core to corrupt it. I don't know, man.
