Today I did a trade. Not a special one as in I sold for less or for more. I'd say the items traded were pretty equal in value. I gave the guy what he wanted and I got something I could find other opportunities with. I don't care for details, but I knew the trade I made would be a loss in the long run. In the end I got to give my two friends a red chef coat and a blue chef coat. (That wasn't the only thing I got, but they're not important) They knew that my next goal in SK was to get the Scissor Blades and a Violet Rose Set; it's a lofty goal that'll take me forever. They were really reluctant to take them. In the end they gave me small token gifts because they wanted to give at least something in return.
I've known these guys since I started and have never met them in person. Yet despite this, we talk all the time about life, work, you know...real stuff. We're real friends in knight outfits swinging swords, shooting guns, and setting bombs.
I don't really know, moments like these where you do something not for profit or virtual money and give stuff to your friends and they give back to you make me want to cry. I did that today. It's one of the greatest things to feel when the person on the other side of the screen actually feels emotion towards you. It's cool, great, it's friendship. Maybe I'm just getting too old and sentimental.

I don't even know why I posted this here. I post a lot on data, suggestions, but this is...well it's not important I suppose. I just felt like sharing it with you guys. I really hope that when you play this game you have people who care about you and do these little things...these small gestures to let you know they care. I dunno, post your own thing. I'll read it, others will read it, go for it. I didn't make this a friendship thread when I started typing, but we can change our minds.
"Friendship asks for...?"
"Nothing at all!"
That was beautifully written. Friendship is a wonderful thing and it's not just about gifts. Yesterday, I probably spent like four hours in total just talking to the people I know and a lot of it wasn't SK.
