Discussion, anyways!
I'm wondering what the trinket might do. The freeze resistance is low, if I'm allowed to guess. It could be medium though, but who knows? You will see in 90 minutes or so and I'll be asleep as always when OOO updates.

Regarding the snipes, something gets me thinking. Knights are !@#$ *^&% !@#$/€!$€. Seriously. Take note of what the announcement says:
Knights, we have visitors! On their grand migration across Cradle, a flock of elusive Gobble Snipes has stopped by to rest in Haven for a few days.
They're migrating across Cradle so we knights naturally stuff them in boxes hardly bigger than them and sell them to each other so that we can place them in our guild halls.

While I do appreciate OOO's kindness and attempts to increase energy spending through temptation with a couple of trinkets and a slot to try them out with, being a Swede I have no idea what Thanksgiving is about and I can't relate to it, as opposed to other celebrations OOO has held. Christmas, Halloween, and midsummer are very commonly celebrated (maybe not midsummer) in the west while Thanksgiving is as far as I know limited to two countries responsible for about 1/20 of the world's population.

Yes, I agree that this snipe capture is another example of the Spiral Order's penchant for environmental destruction.

The fact that Thanksgiving is not universal is probably why Three Rings is marketing this as a celebration of autumn. For what it's worth, Thanksgiving is a pretty great holiday. In the USA, Christmas has lost much of its meaning. It's rampantly materialistic. Thanksgiving is about family, friends, and being thankful --- sort of a secular version of what Christmas is supposed to be.

Basically a tradition passed down by Native Americans to give thanks for a good harvest and for the preceding year.

Us Brits don't celebrate it either but the random gifts on games like this are nice.

Really, it's just an annual day, much like Christmas or Halloween, except for only a couple countries.

And on that note, me being someone who's best Heart Pendants are 3*s, I'm going to wear this thing everywhere; no matter what Ice Res it has. But truthfully, I'm hoping for at least an Ice Res Med, to make up for the 2 health pip loss.

On the note of Snipes: I want one. Just one. I will name it Mr. Fluffers and it will be my pet forever.

I'm honestly expecting the Trinket to be Freeze Resistance High and +4HP since logically, Rank 7-1 is 4*, with 4* Trinkets giving High Resistance. Rather silly promo, I was kinda expecting an event though.

This Fall Leafy Aura seems to have less leaves than the old green leafy aura. I can't preview through supply depot to whet my appetite (cough cough) so I'm not sure if it's a recolor or actually more different.

I'm sure it matches well with volcanic and firey themes.

Indeed the announcement does not state any relation to Thanksgiving but it's obvious that it related to it. Turkey and pilgrims in the real world edition, pilgrim turkeys in the Cradle edition.

The gobble snipes are cute, but I'm disappointed with the aura--friends of mine have been pining after the idea of a fall aura since the hunter promo, but I'm afraid the colors just don't translate well to reskinning the green leafy. I think a better choice would have been to model it on the love aura (more falling leaves, less why-do-the-colors-on-this-costume-look-muddy). And the price as well: the green leafy was, what, 6500ce from the flash sales, and the new one is 8800ce? There is just no way, even if it did match something.

Is so laggy, it is nearly unplayable without an optimal rig and internet connection/latency. And referring to one of you earlier posts Krakob, I must make my same arguement again. Winterfest celebrates winter. In no way does it celebrate/reference the birth of Jesus Christ. Religion is a bad thing to advertise for a business.

Okay, not to be mean, but...

Gobble snipes are a tad on the ugly side. I mean...Snipes are adorable, but when you put a long, drupy beak and then a strange big body on them...

I hope they taste better than they look! xD

EDIT: By the way, the boxes of Gobble Snipes are actually boxes of their favorite seeds. It's just a kind of invitation. Then they get attached to the guild hall and never leave. xD
