I want duel wielding to be a access in Spiral knights . I know a ton of People posted something like this before but i really want it cuz now these days less and less advance weapon wielding ways .
Why cant we have duel wielding ? Cuz nobody likes it?

My opinion

Im just saying Im a sword specialist and i want to have more potential in ways of how i can chop and master them because sword and shield is too main stream and I find shields quite annoying because it lacks the speed / flow of the dungeons because I'm that kind of person who wants to go in and make chaos and kill but sword and shield does let me do that
and maybe the gunners and bombers find it less of a flow to the game and wants more fire power

My estimate

Duel swords, Duel guns , Double Bombs i bet a lot of u want these , all of u want to try different combinations of weapons
Some of u dont like shields
Some of u think that shields lack burst in battle

I know this wont change anything but I want more choices in how u can fight in the clockworks
I might be a bit selfish but I know what some player wants

I don't use a Shield.
In Tier 1.....
I use SSB everywhere else.

Do you have a Pulsar line?
Do you have an Antigua line?
Do you have a Wolver line?
Are one of the shields you have Grey Owlite Shield, Crest of Almire, or Barbarous Thorn Shield?

I find shields quite annoying because it lacks the speed

3. The swift strike buckler is still used for defense not attack + its a 3 star gear and I say its too main stream cuz A TON OF games use shield and swords as main weps -_-

If you want to do hipster BS then just craft underused weapons and do that.
If dual-wielding weapons were implemented it would become "mainstream" completely defeating your silly reason for suggesting it in the first place.

Dual wielding would have to be balanced with single wielding, so it would defeat the purpouse of it (that is, dishing out more damage). even so, it would be very difficult to balance, and Nick precicely stated that the only way dual wielding to be implemented is going for a new class of weapons that dual wield.
also, how would you dual wield bombs? double damage only?
and weapon and shield isn't too mainstream, it's the only way we have right now. have you tried to go on a level shieldless yet? I suggest you to try.
(sword and shield is too mainstream because of swords, not because there are shields around.)
