First off I'd like to link to this.

Trust me it's Important.

So first off what would it do?

The dash armor would give MSI Low and Dash Recharge Time Decrease Med at 3* High at 4* And Very High at 5*
This means of course, Dash would take less time to recharge. Dash takes about 7 sec. to recharge, so at 3* it takes 6 sec. 4* it takes 5 sec. 5* it takes 4 sec. The MSI doesn't change.

How would it look?

I would picture a Ninja-like helmet (so cloth face) and Vitasuit like body. but the Vitapod is filled with blue rather than red.
As for colors I'm thinking white or black with Prismatic bits on the armor where they are on Vitasuit and one loose hanging piece of cloth on helm.

How would it be crafted?

The Recepie would either be sold by echo or Basil. One special material would be required for every piece, which would be dropped VERY RARELY by monster linked to above. Each piece would also require some Warp Dust (It makes sense)

So, what do you think? Post your thoughts and problems below!

'Till then. Flame-Shinobi. Out...

gods ain't gonna help you, son.

no MSI. mercurial would be heavily outclassed. we don't want yet another outclassed armor.

A few improvement ideas

I like it, but it needs some balance tweaks.

Make it only go to 4*.
Make the armor resist mostly normal damage with a lesser amount of shadow resistance. (ninjas, shadows, they go well together.)
All materials can be found normally. The material will be 4*.
Can be a split off of the skelly line, similar to the vitasuit and cobalt.
Similar in appearance to gremlin stalkers.
Dash time reduction of low on each piece, lowering dash to 5 seconds. Can introduce trinkets or sprite perks for the future for this ability.

Okay... Here we go...

@Janeks: I guess it needs a little balance

@Thunder: That makes sense too. I really wanna get dat set.

@Fangel: That would be an Okay balance. Still 3* need 1 warp dust 4* needs 3 warp dust. But maybe not Stalker look. That is so boss it deserves its own line.

Decreased dash times? How about it has Movement Speed Decrease instead of increase...

-1 unless it has MSD.

I think the MSI thing is fine

Other armors will outclass this by being a higher star item (hence less health and overall protection). If it were to not have MSI, then give players ASI low with swords on each piece. I'm imagining this being almost assassin-like armor, and would give high mobility in exchange for defense.

I guess I'm just imagining this as a niche armor in a similar way to how the winmillion is a niche weapon. If that's not your intention, then I apologize and will add my adaption to my slowly growing list of suggestions that I'll post eventually.

It's a great idea, but I wouldn't have it be an armor, since a lot of us have "broken in" our favorite sets by punching them to death. For these things to be fully loved...(Personally I brainlessly drool over every new thing, but it's an issue for many people. On the other hand, you have the people that demand new armors/weaps and no new costumes...).

Edit: oh, dash. MEGADERP. My mind is just sooo stuck on shields. Well! The things below apply anyway:

These attributes as new pet perks (how to acquire? simply stuff MOAR STARS into 'em like for the final perks after 100, they could be mixed in for the higher (but lower than 100) for sprites not yet leveled, so they are still randomized acquisition.

Or, as with most boons, trinket form. For both pet perks and trinkets, you can have the star levels you describe. The trinkets could have the difficulty of crafting that you describe.

A costume to commemorate the arrival of these shield boons that looks like your ninja description would be appropriate. Personally, I've always wanted a ninja outfit, in particular, a ghostmane stalker clone. Those gremlin guys that Seerus hires. And throwable gear weapons! But really, that's another suggestion entirely.

Also, where are my MSI trinkets? When can I go faster than the speed of lag?

What I had up before as the megaderp (which I'd also like to see):

"shield health recharge time decrease", since the bash execution is dependent on the shield being at full, and ofc all of us want that to be faster. Except some people who like challenge more I suppose.

A "bash time decrease", meaning that you actually whip up that shield and wham things faster (and therefore be vulnerable for fewer moments), that has nothing to do with that recharge time bar value manipulation, would be incredibly neat. How would this affect the animations/noises of special bashes? Hmmm.

Great idea, but I think it should be a bit more expanded on.

For example, why stop at cool down reduction? Why not have the dash have an extra effect, similar to what was done with the Torto Shields?

Something like ignoring unit collision (being able to dash through an enemy) would be extremely useful for those situations where you are completely cornered or need to get around a big guy.

Or the cop out "add damage to this thing". Though I don't like that option anywhere near as much as the first.

Another option may be to increase the dash length/speed of travel.

There's quite a bit that could be done with the dash besides just decreasing the cool down. :)

(Please note that I do not play PvP and have no clue how this would affect any of that)
