At most, you can get twelve 5* items. Then use the rest for the Swiftstrike and the Winmillion you might get. As for any other recommendations, get two Weapon slots and two Trinket Slots. If you get all of what I just said, you'd be left with about 100 E.

Well, go ahead and do what Sonosuke said and make only 14 items, instead of just making it yourself and making 31+ items.

But wait, I'm also forgetting about the random UV chance you're missing out on, and the Forge box chances, and etc.

BUT WAIT, I'm forgetting all the Radiants you'll get while heating your gear. You know, Radiants, the stuff you need to heat the 5* weapons you have. Unless you wanna pay for those too of course.

Have fun with your Level 1 gear that doesn't even have a chance of getting UV's... unless of course you pay for that too.

Getting to end-game is great and all, but you'll be missing out on a ton of stuff if you just buy your way through. And you'll eventually get bored of FSC. Don't start saying that you won't, because you will. I used to say "I'll never get bored of this", but now I run FSC once a month at most. The only time I even go in there anymore is when a friend invites me at D27 because they need someone who has a Shivermist Buster.

Just heat your gear, you'll regret buying it outright later on when you can't do jack with your new weapons except look cool for the newbies.

Thx, but the prob is for crafting, once it gets to 4 star you need to get SFC which is a drag and/or buy them from depot too so...ya plus it takes a long time to get to max heat.

Shining fire crystals are far easier to get than the radiant fire crystals that you will need if you just buyout 5* stuff. You're better off buying 4* stuff and heating with with shinings than buying level 1 5* stuff. Being a forum user you should know all this but it is evident from previous threads you made that you seem to carry out no research of your own.

Alright so, first of all, there's the crafting cost (not including pre 4* because different weapons have different origins, like sealed sword for example, which starts at 3*, compared to say, a flourish, which starts at 2*). Also, you can buy the mats for crafting with tokens from Brinks, via primal/grim/forge sparks.
The price of the recipe and crafting the 5* item is 30k crowns. You'll also need 309 shinings to heat it, assuming you always use the maximum amount.

If you have a friend that lets you tag along for vana (on elite), you'll get about an average of 9312 crowns each run, according to Lancer Knightz's data. Maybe about 3X or so shining fire crystals (about how much i usually get), and a bunch of radiants each time. The amount earned does not include any mats that will drop, the money you can get from selling token equipment, or the potential for any orbs or sparks.

Let's say you run King of Ashes 10 times, heating one level each time. From that, you'd gain about 93k crowns, and around enough shining fire crystals. Take 30k off of that for the crafting price, and you'd gain roughly 63k crowns. Also, running King of Ashes provides the shining fire crystals you'd need, so you shouldn't buy them. With the recent patch on radiants, you're more likely than ever (well, more likely than before the update) to get radiant fire crystals, which will save you money/time in the future, when you'll need them for your 5* stuff.

So basically, by grinding your 4* equipment to level 10, you'd actually gain a lot of crowns, shining and radiant fire crystals, orbs/sparks (unless you're really unlucky and somehow don't get any in all the time you're grinding). I might've made a mistake somewhere, but there's still a huge positive income compared to buying whatever you wanted straight off the supply depot. Course, you'd have to buy orbs off of the depot, but with energy prices lower than usual, and all the money/orbs you're getting from running vana (and all of the energy you said you'd be getting), i don't really see how you could ever lose money by grinding. If you're heating more than one 4* equip, then it'll just be more grinding, which you'll get even more crowns, sparks, tokens, and orbs from.

Why exactly is buying weapons off the Supply Depot a thing?

Once upon a time a friend asked me for advice on what weapons to make. So I started talking to him. He asked what was a good piercing sword. I said that I personally think Barbarous Thorn Blade is the best piercing sword due to its charge attack, but it's significantly harder to get Final Flourish. It wouldn't really matter which you chose if you were just using the normal attacks, I just personally believed BTB was superior. So he bought a FF right on the spot. Then he asked about shadow swords. I told him that I recommended Gran Faust, but it was harder to get than Acheron, and that these were his only two choices. So he immediately bought an Acheron. At this point he had wasted 7000 Energy on 3000 Energy's worth of gear. So when he faithfully asked me about Elemental swords, I recommended Combuster, due to its better knockback. He bought a Glacius anyway. He asked about guns and I told him Valiance was a great primary gun... so he bought it... This continued for 2 more weapons and 4 pieces of armour. At this point he only had enough energy for one more weapon. He gave it to me for all the help I had given him (it was 3700 Energy). We then did a couple runs and he logged off. A few days pass, he gets on here and there, and just kind of asks what's up. He doesn't do much except sit in Haven and run FSC every so often. He started getting on less and less, or at least less according to the time that I was on.

One day he got on and told me (one of his few friends because he jumped straight to Vanguard and didn't really have time to get to know anyone else) that he was bored of SK, and that there was no point in it anymore.

He hasn't logged on since last November.

As a complete side note, I made my Biohazard and my Divine Avenger out of the energy he gave me.

the only thing worth buying from the supply depot of the things you listed was OCH, while everything else you can make much cheaper without buying it straight off the depot. (i'm assuming you meant to buy since you said 'there's no problem if you buy both and have fun')

Also, to answer your question, weapon slot upgrades stay for a month, like trinket slots.

Since you are going through with this-

I wouldn't get volcanic plate shield. Its kind of cool, but its overkill if you're getting GOS. Inside of FSC (its big use), plate shield is significantly better for ONLY vanaduke's mace attack and trojan smashes. GOS is significantly better for rocket puppy rockets, flame throwers and vanaduke's mask phase... but also holds more utility outside of FSC.

Combuster and glacius are pretty much the same weapon. Your money would be better spent getting something else first.

You want to get chaos. Chaos is wonderful and, since you can't heat your items (13 items x 450 radiants = 5850 radiant fire crystals = 292+ runs at 20 fire crystals per run) the charge time reduction will be necessary to use your shivermist buster + brandishes.

Since you want to go to FSC, I would recomend getting one of volcanic demo suit, vog cub suit or armor of the fallen. These will be invaluable in providing you with the correct defense, so that you don't just flat out die when you get there.

I don't think that skolver is all that great in PvE. Maybe you want it for lockdown, so that you can go there dressed like a clone and then get murdered by crazy people that have been practicing for 3 years. But for PvE, piercing and ice resistance don't strike me as being the greatest thing. Especially with items like black kat cowl and snarbolax to one up it with shadow+ice resistance, a much more viable combination. The one exception to this would of course be the ice queen castle, but that's kind of a joke IMO anyway.

I don't think that the game really relies on the supply depot's items for profit. I think that most of the money people spend on the game is so that they can gamble towards getting fancy accessories and the likes of that.

By all seriousness though, buy yourself a nice 5* armor set with some good uv's and if you play your cards right you may even have enough ce left to buy those darn radiants so you can actually heat your stuff.

Get Volcanic Demo.

Bombs that are specialized to deal a status have a very small area that deals damage. Go for CTR if you're planning to get mist bombs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have 100 dollars worth of crystal energy? Why can't you sell ~200 of it?

Well, it is your CE, you can do whatever you want. I think it would be better to make the weapons though, because its cheaper to do so. I've been a vanguard for a long time and I've only ever had dread skelly set, silversix, dark thorn blade and a glacius. I recently made the 4* ice bomb, 4* demo suit, obsidian edge, blackhawk, ash tail set and a swiftstrike.
