April 2 Update - Discussion
"...finished work in Town Square".
Oh boy! I hope it's my Gel Drop dispenser!
>Recovery tickets have been added to the Supply Depot and allow you to recover an accessory from your gear.
I am genuinely shocked and surprised. Maybe this combined with the 80% failure rate of the previous box is a sign of things to come. Very interesting.
Wait so I can take my accessories off and resell them? Ok. Watch how all those rare accessories drop in value. I love it.
Remember to check for a 0*/costume unbind stealth patch, just in case.
“- Recovery tickets have been added to the Supply Depot and allow you to recover an accessory from your gear.”
And I just destroyed a couple of accessories yesterday.
Great.
"complete in time for the Anniversary"
WARNING: The big enemy is approaching at full throttle. According to the data, it is identified as "Caketastrophe". NO REFUGE.
- Recovery tickets have been added to the Supply Depot and allow you to recover an accessory from your gear.
Man... I destroyed one of my Sunshine Auras a while ago because it clashed with the armor it was on... I never expected this turn of events. :(
"failed to connect to the server"
Every time I try to log in.
Taking a survey made me happy.
Doing this made me forget about being happy and just made me sad.
Something big is going to be released obviously! Hence why the servers are down.
There was some unexpected downtime that the developers have now resolved. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
Those recovery items are so expensive. I was hoping to be able to rearrange my costumes without paying an arm and a leg. :c
The recovery tickets seem to be a bit overpriced considering that it's worth more than the majority of accessories nowadays.
The new mission is quite hard, and in a Fake Difficulty sense due to all the game-breaking bugs that can happen. I was lucky enough not to be affected, but I did lose my emergency revive against the fight with Dread Velvet.
I'm here to talk about the new mission.
well, it's good. not that difficult, interesting mechanics (a circular room, weeeeeeee) and new enemies. good work OOO!
and all the rest.
the statue of Nick is great.
the minimap will be useful.
the boxes that cointain boxes that are from old promos are another thing to add to the "suggestions OOO has listened" list. thanks OOO.
another thing to add to that list is accessory unbinding. although I'm not entierly sure they will be bound, given the price they will be.
supply depot promo + box with energy promo. finally starting to get that the ce market is fragile?
well that's all. I'm curious to see how the ce market will react to all this stuff, and I'm pretty much sure that players will like it. good work again.
EDIT: phantom, what bugs and difficult how?
You can get stuck in walls, dialog, etc.
And the final waves of the fight at the end have so many enemies I actually got zerg rushed by them, completely violating the rule of Conservation of Ninjutsu.
It seems the remove accessory things are... Accessories...
Also, it was unannounced, but unbinding tickets are in the Supply Depot now for the same prices that Vise gives. Pretty sure you still need to use them at Vise, but now that means people can't go running away with your 4000 energy you gave them for unbinding. :D
The way the wording is...
Maxwell should be selling the acc's for cake slices as well as the prize box and costumes?
If theyre supposed to sell the acc's as well, theyre not in the shop.
If theyre not supposed to, may be a good idea to clarify what the box can give.

*pays 4k Energy for unbinding ticket and gives to seller*
*seller runs off with unbinding ticket*
When does the boring event end?
Does this help? Look for these types of rooms in the Clockworks.
They also stealth patched the Skolver coats description now it correctly state what stat it boosts!
I wonder if they fixed gran fausts speed bar as well...
Accessory remover tickets are overpriced, most of accs don't worth to be unbound.
I really thought that you will let us to choose which part to remove, gear or accessories.
Yeah. The new tickets are far too overpriced. I was hoping to rearrange some of my costumes...
They could make (add) one ticket for all slots that binds the accessory on removal. 500 energy. This would allow people to rearrange costumes without having to cut their heads off or something.
;D
By the way, here's what a Stately Cap looks like. http://puu.sh/7U5Dk.png
Well done on the monetisation of accessories unbinding, Three Rings! You earn money, and bring the multimillion crown items down to an affordable couple hundred thousand. I thought my variable unbind price idea was pretty good but thanks for putting the ticket price as high as equipment unbinding so that standalone accessories are still worth more than accessories attached to equipment.
an affordable couple hundred thousand.
I understand that this is not the thread for this, but really... Aside from spending ten bucks and doing Vana erryday, how do people get this kind of money? I still haven't figured that out.
Buy low, sell high, get mad money. #economics101
Also some people have jobs, which give monies, which they can give to OOO for virtual monies to buy virtual stuffs.
To make things more applicable to this thread, how much would I make off of the new anniversary boxes? Are they worth farming for?
I agree with Hexzyle here.
You should take the prices into consideration. This only works for rare items such as twilight aura or crown of winter/summer and clearly benefits the wealthy knights out there. 10k CE for aura recovery? Come on.
I just realized... that these recovery tickets will probably drive the price UP on accessories from the paying person's perspective. The price, to the merchant in the form of money gained, will probably fall.
I forgot to mention something here.
TOPHATS! thanks OOO for TOPHATS! this was the greatest thing ever. more than launching the game.

I think it won't change them much: unlike the resale of 5 star weapons, the binding of accessories is not mandatory. A merchant who wants to sell an accessory does not have to factor in the unbind price if their accessory was not bound, unlike a merchant selling 5 star weapons who will always have their profit crippled by the mandatory unbind price (unless they found the equipment, but then they're crippled in a different way by the Supply Depot)
Of course, unbinding means more accessories will be in circulation. But the cost of injecting these items into the economy is high enough that it won't drag down the price of current, unbound items, if at all.
It's true though that the ability to unbind accessories may give people the incentive to bind their accessories with the hope of unbinding it later. This of course is effectively tagging each item bound in this manner with the unbind price. By reducing the amount of unbound items in circulation, it's possible their price will go up.
“- Recovery tickets have been added to the Supply Depot and allow you to recover an accessory from your gear.”
Oh dear.
I can't tell if this is a bad thing or an awesome thing. Probably both.
