I feel like there is literally no chance of getting the darkfang, or any other items out there that are only available via gear drop, now that the chance to get them is even lower than it was when the elevators cost energy.
Not that there was a huge chance before. Just a glimmer of hope that is gone now.
Are there any other gear pieces that are only dropped besdes Darkfang shield?
Its plausible that there are, and that no one has found them yet so I don't wanna assume anything.
But can I name them off the top of my head? No.
THAT would give me a reason to grind the clockworks for new items and weapons to play with!
I've found a Hatchet (1*), Blazebreak Shield 1*, Sinister Skelly Helm (4*), Toxic Vaporizer MK 2 (3*)...and maybe one more.
Note I only received the hatchet and Skelly Helm due to soloing.

I used to find a ton of stuff in the clockworks and the arcade, and now I don't find anything. None of it was worth anything, but it was cool and I have fond memories of doing runs purely to try finding a darkfang, even if it was nigh impossible according to most. Really darkfang/other stuff is what I'm interested in, though putting the common items back in at a reasonable (meaning still impossible to find but occasionally plausible) rate would be wonderful.
I Actually never found a thing throughout the clockworks, I knew the dark fang shield was a rare drop and I think it was the bitter end shield was a rare drop from boxes
but, alas, I never found anything so this could be pretty cool
...except when everyone is swamped with thwack hammers and iron bucklers
Bitter end would be an awesome rare drop like darkfang for the end of danger missions. +1 to that idea for sure. But no, it just comes from a box :P Or at least to my knowledge it does.
And they can remove thwack hammers dropping. I'm interested in darkfang shields.
I found a a Wolver Cap. It was taken before my eyes. I'd love to see some more gear drops.
I managed to find a Strike needle in a Jelly palace box

I have found five different items in boxes. The best one was a 4* shadow driver.
And I found 1* armor in boxes after FSC. Btw dark fang shield is extremely rare drop which is actualy the same as 4* owlite and only usable to show off so you don't have to rly care about this one...
