Occupation: Psychotic Fugitive Murderer Guy (Don't judge.)
Bio & Personality: Reji was a normal person, besides the fact he had severe mental issues. As a child he was born with a serious birth defect making him act strange and akward and what-not. His parents honestly didn't care much about him and found him a particular nuisance compared to their prestigious older son. So when Morai knocked on their door one day for "treatment" for his "case" they easily gave him up. Though this weren't the Morai's reason. Oh, not at all. Hoping to over-glorify their army furthermore they were making a special ops unit called "Reaper Unit" (/wave Midnight-Dj) in which they needed subjects such as Reji. To ready Reji for the experiment in which he'd be morphed into a thing of mass destruction they first had to cure his "case". One stupid Morai doctor later and Reji's condition had worsened to the fact of extreme psychotic behavior. Though this behavior also gave him improved reflexes and what-not which was somewhat good. Using his new strengths Reji escaped from the Morai leaving a trail of carnage through the compound. A criminal now wanted for multiple accouters of murder and other charges Reji stalks the alleys of the city hoping for a way to leave.

Situation averted.

"Uhhhh...no need to sound so defensive now," the Enforcer replied. "I just wanted to know what happened that resulted in your injury." Knowing that Corem probably didn't remember, Angelica said, "He was brutally attacked by three men in black tuxedoes and injected with something that put him out for several minutes. The incident occurred in an alleyway off of Sync Street, the second one west of Terss Street."

The Enforcer nodded, taking down all the info on his notepad. "Thank you ma'am, that'll be all." With that, he strode out of the room. The doctor walked over to Corem and put his hand on the young man's shoulder. "Don't worry, pal. We'll get your memories back." He handed him a bottle of pills. "Take one once every day until the container is empty. Now get out, and don't come back, y'hear?" he added jokingly.

Berundly let out another hearty laugh at Astran's remark. So he does know me.

"You seem to know me well enough!" Berundly sighed contentedly, glancing at his apparent business partner reading his book. "Trouble with the government... Never liked those greedy dogs, not that I'm not one myself. Whatever could I have done to provoke them?" he asked with a sly grin.

"A few coins in the right hand, and this'll be behind us." Us. Berundly needed this man.

She done got pissed off.

If Alexis couldn't pull the chair off of the concrete floor, she slams her fist into the plexiglass window a number of times before her knuckles take too much damage, and gives the chair one last boot before making her way out.

If she can lift the chair, she slams it into the plexiglass window, and then chucks it at the wall before recuperating and walking out.

Either way, she isn't happy about this at all.

A thin, grim smile parted Astran's lips. "Ah, but there's the rub, see. We've been bribing them to keep them off our backs, but some idiot proclaiming the cause of 'justice' has been ratting us out. We're all for justice too, but he's going about it all the wrong way. Some people just don't know when to stop biting the hand that feeds them, you know?"

He shook his head ruefully and put down the book. "Can't read when I'm conversing." He then folded his hands and continued. "Anyways. This guy ain't the only one sniffing us out. You know the three guys who attacked you this morning? My sources tell me they're some kinda government bigshots. I don't know what they want with us; if they just wanted to get at us for legal reasons, we'd all be dead or jailed already. I don't get why they're holding back."

He pulled out his pipe and puffed on it thoughtfully. "Very mysterious, if you ask me."

The chair is movable, but being made out of steel and several other heavy metals, it's not exactly easy for a girl like herself to throw around.

Upon leaving the building, she steps out into a fenced-off military perimeter, complete with various guards, trucks, and other personnel. The main gate is just up ahead, guarded by two sentries.

Corem relaxed immediately, and accepted the pills. He unscrewed the cap, grabbed a glass of water that was sitting near him, and downed a pill. He felt the cold thing go down his throat, then thought out loud, "What exactly are these? Painkillers? Or maybe they'll bring my memory back."

I find it slightly amusing, heh.

"Astran, perchance is there somewhere more, ah, comfortable for us to speak? I do not feel all that much unwell." Berundly gave him a piercing stare with his emerald eyes. "Such pressing issues would best be had with a cup of something sweet, perhaps exotic."

The worry was beginning to worm its way through Berundly. He had lost more of his memory than he had feared. His life was now in the hands of Astran, who was hopefully what he claimed. Berundly pushed himself up, propped on the pillows as he grunted. He felt so helpless for the moment that it angered him. He needed something to get a grip back on track.

"Shall I send for a my-"

OOC: I hope it isn't too much of a powerplay, but I was thinking that Astran would cut off Berundly here. Also, I wasn't sure what kind of transportation the Morai have xD. If you had something else in mind, I apologize and will rectify it immediately.

BIC: "No, I'll get us a coach," Astran interrupted. "We don't need prying eyes. Give me a minute." He reached over to the table and picked up a telephone. "Operator? Patch me into a taxi service, please...uh, I don't know any offhand. Can you-...yeah, that'll be perfect. Thanks a bunch."

More waiting. "Hello! My name's Astran Valderis. I was hoping I could hire a taxiwagon...mhm...mhm...mmkay, that's cool...don't mind much...no, totally outta the question. We don't-...no, we don't condone that...yeah, that would be better. I'd appreciate that. Name your price...mmm, too high...what!? I'm not paying that much for a taxi!!...okay, okay, that's better. $1 per mile? Got it. Thanks."

He put down the phone and glanced at Berundly. "Taxi's coming to our location soon. I must be a little out of touch, because I was surprised to find that modern taxi services provide optional 'escorts', if you know what I mean. Despicable." He shook his head and stared out the window.

"Can't wait to get off this rock someday."

Valderis? The name stirred Berundly's memories, but he left the thought unspoken. He had wanted to offer to pay, but decided to remain quiet for once, waiting for Astran to place the phone down.

"Why is that? Don't love it here?" Berundly laughed. "Kidding. Though, such a dream isn't too farfetched. If I manage to figure out what's going on and straighten things up, who's to say I wouldn't repay you?" Astran's soaked longcoat had dried some, revealing a brighter shade of bronze. "Whatever happened to your coat?" Berundly inquired, in hopes of shortening the time with idle chatter.

As Hisare would come to, an extremely loud, low-pitched noise was throbbing in her eardrums constantly. Accompanied by such an annoyance was a hyper-speed melody on a loop. On each iteration, the melody was repeated at a higher pitch, and the screams of a muffled crowd became more panicked. Just when one would might think that his / her ears would burst, a loud bass-like noise warbled incessantly throughout the room she was in...

"Hey, you okay? You hit your head pretty hard on the railing..."

If Hisare were to look up, she would notice some raggedy young man in his twenties, dressed in black attire and pumped full of piercings and tattoos. Most of his red hair is shaved off, save for a spiky Mohawk design that ran not in the middle, but towards the left. He was sitting at a chair with a cup of coffee in his hand.

If she were to look elsewhere, she would find out that she was lying down on a black, leathery couch. It appeared to have been sagging from years of harsh use, though it allowed her to rest comfortably. The room she was in, judging by the singular round table, two chairs, refrigerator, sink, and coffee machine, she might be in some sort of break room. The door, white as everything else in the room, was closed, though it failed to block out all the loud noises outside.

Amy woke up and noticed it was a coffin. She thought "Why am I here? Did I faint from exhaustion and they thought I was dead?" Amy realized that the coffin might be moved. Just then, she realized there was also a lack of oxygen in the coffin and would run out fast. Amy was about to knock on the coffin but forced herself not to because the creature or the military might be outside...

Angel wrung her hands a little. "I don't know! Not much happened before you woke up. You were coming home from work and were beaten up; you were unconscious for only a few minutes." She wandered up to the bed and sat beside him. "What is the last thing you remember?"

Astran glanced at his coat and held up a low corner. "I got it wet rolling around in the water-logged street. You know, dodging gunfire and stuff. Not the sort of thing you want to do in a tuxedo." A thin smirk crossed his lips as he told the story, clearly amused by his own humor. Sighing deeply (almost regretfully), he took another puff of his pipe and closed his eyes.

"Taxi's here," he declared at length.

The coffin lurched periodically for a few minutes, and eventually settled down on a hard floor somewhere. Several voices chattered excitedly around the coffin, and soon Amy could make out words like "resistance" and "newcomer."

This could be good or bad...

Amy just stayed quiet, silently breathing as the coffin was constantly moving all over the place for what was a long time when it stopped somewhere. She thought she could hear something coming nearby. Amy then heard a word which made her worry. She thought "Resistance! Oh no, as soon as they open this, I am a goner..."

But then, Amy heard something which made her think a bit differently "Newcomer... Wait, am I the newcomer? No... it can't be possible... A newcomer of a resistance, doesn't sound right and what about the military, detectives or even Morai's? Then... they can't be Morai's but, they do sound excited about something..."

((OOC: Honestly... still not much clue on what to do except think about things...))

The man shrugs, and takes a gulp of coffee. As Hisare's vision returns, she can see the fine detailing on his face now, and his complexion becomes more and more sickly each blink. His tattoos create an illusion of a skull, only the white of his eyeballs breaking the spell.

He puts the mug down, and inhales sharply. He then turns his head off towards the wall, staring off into nothing.

"The bouncer...Fred. He said that you were struggling to climb up the stairs, and you hit the middle railing on the way down as you fell. He had to drag you all the way up here, so don't forget to thank him for that. But in all honesty, a lot of things go down here. I only own the building and make everyone pay a toll. Whatever they do down there isn't worth my time, as long as they aren't leaving bodies or spent girls."

He then takes a glance back at her again.

"...not that I meant you were one of those kinds of girls."
