I wasn't really sure where to post this, but I guess it's either a bug or I am misunderstanding something. I have two shields, both with UVs, nothing spectacular, but they're there. One UV is an "Increased Elemental Damage: Medium" and the other "Increased Piercing Damaged: Low." The reason I'm posting on the forum however is this:

Both UVs show roughly the same addition to their relative defence in their Tooltips as shown here. In fact the "Medium" addition looks to be slightly lower than the "Low," pictorially.

I've tried searching the foums and the Wiki, to see if it's because of the star level, or heat level .... while I may be missing the answer, I figured better safe than sorry.

So my question is this: Is this a display issue, or am I missing something?

{EDIT:} Or at the very least, which displays the correct value for the bonus of the item?

The stone tortoise shield has

The stone tortoise shield has more piercing defense because is a 4* shield. If you upgrade that plate shield to a heavy plate shield, then the elemental defense bar will be longer.

In the words of Abed.

Cool. Coolcoolcool. Thanks for the help, I'll check it later to make sure, and set my mind at ease [it's presently sat at Boosted, but I've no Energy for a clockworks run]. I take it this is something known from experience? Or did I literally somehow gloss over it, somewhere in forum and Wiki?

Thanks again!

Thank you very much for your help on this, you really set my mind at ease about putting so many mats and E into crafting the item. Here's the new tool tip, to show just how right you are, heh.

Thanks again!
