A follow up to my magic thread, this thread will be about cannons.
Cannons will be a mix of a bomb and a gun.
It will fire small bombs that get placed down in the distance.
You will have to charge them for a little time but not too long, and it will be like a gun and a bomb in 1.
Feel free to post ideas, almost anything is welcome.

The bombs that get fired will not be like pulsar, but will act like normal bombs, except thrown.
So it's a bomb, that can be safely thrown from a distance.
Then regular bombs will be useless.
Bombs have big radius. Guns have range. Combine them and it becomes overpowered.
They will have a smaller radius.
And clip will have 1 bomb (for any ppl who think u can spam it).
Quakeman in some previous post gave a similar idea
but instead the some sort of hybrid weapon, is a Bomb Launcher (before all, that weapon spend one weapon slot)
you choice what kind of bomb will be used on the Launcher by select it normally (Shivermist, Nitronome, Shard type...), but using directly the launcher only allow to use low neutral damage clips
example:
1 - Sentenza
2 - Shivermist
3 - BaB
4 - Launcher
if you choice 2, the shivermist bomb you become the clip of the Launcher, if you switch to 3, the Launcher's clip will become the Big angry Bomb, switch to 1, you use your Sentenza normally, switch to 4 allow you deploy some low neutral damage shoots without any additional effect
basically you get stuck on the place while shooting, like Mortar and wield the launcher prevents you deploying the bomb without the launcher
the only problem i got on his suggestion is "how to aim without the mouse", giving the answer:
"while you are aiming using the launcher, you movement buttons become aim movement", something like that
That would solve much of what you are wanting Earthboundimmortal, isn't?
If they are gonna have a smaller radius than a true bomb, only 1 bullet-clip but still have to wait for detonation like a regular bomb, why don't you seriously use a Polaris?
This easily goes from overpowered to useless. Polaris is the perfect middle point, like it or not.
like your idea but , dont know why those guys dont agrees with anything...
but the cannon take 2 slot weapons , or desable the defense shield...
its not possible carry a shield and one cannon with one hand...
we already have gremlin demo people that throw bombs.

I can see bugs and glitches opening from miles away with a cannon weapon
So that means there can be combinations?
Sword-Bomb: Has a sword-pin point on top of the bomb and when you throw it, it shoots spikes?
Sword-Gun: It's a gun model, but with sharp edges and when you swing it, multiple shootings can be from any direction?

@Benightx 1 combination doesn't mean everything can be a combination. Cannons and Grenade Launchers are real for anyone that doesn't know.
Ok... Pulsar does this basic function, where pulsar does not meet this, catalyzer does...
If you wanna be a gremlin demo, all the best for you. But this class of weapon is really not essential/ doesn' fill much of a niche.
