Clockwork Terminal CT2 01:50
Two knights walked through the enclosed space of the Terminal. One was in a Fused Demo Suit and a Plate shield with a Proto Crest valiantly glowing green, unlike his morose red eyes. The other was clad in Wolver, hiding his eyes in arrow slit eyeholes.
The two were in total silence as they walked to Basil. Basil however, was not.
“Can you hear him?” He questioned. He then grabbed the Bomber by the arms and shook him violently. “Can you hear him?!”
The bomber’s reaction was of disgust and removed himself from Basil’s grip.
“Basil. Are you alright in the head?” The bomber responded.
“That Gremlin! This monster has been terrorising this Terminal! I am practically on my wits end here!” Basil’s voice was getting higher in pitch and was more urgent. “Listen! Shhhhh.”
He pulled the two to his chest to listen despite the grunts and movent of struggle.
“Tee hee hee…” A high pitched voice squeaked. “I have waited too long for blood.”
The Wolver was calm. He was too calm. “Basil, Listen.” His voice was filled with urgency. “On the count of three you run to the elevator.”
“Why not us Matt?” the Bomber questioned.
“Atrum, we protect Basil as he goes. We will fight.”
Matt signalled with is fingers.
Three. Sweat glistened on the brow of Atrum.
Two. Matt grabbed his Tempered Calibur with an iron grip.
One. Basil ignored the signals and ran. He started screaming in several different tongues. Suddenly, a Striker cut through the air like a hot knife through butter, jamming the lift just as Basil pressed the button.
“Yummy prey!” the voice screamed like he was on helium.
CRASH!
A deranged Gremlin with a red robe revealing his mad, red eyes and his sharped-tooth mouth with crimson foam dripping from his mouth jumping from the roof of the depth.
“Kzz No Zark!” the gremlin shouted in its tongue. A bolt of purple, demonic lightning shot through his red shard Ratchet wand. The bolt breezed past Matt and the hairs on his coat pricked up with glee.
”He must mean something to do with static bolts. No, ion. An Ionic Bolt! I never seen that before--”
Matt was interrupted in his thoughts by Atrum pushing him out of the way from an overhead Ratchet Wand smash.
“Why are you idling?” Atrum demanded angrily. He then charged up a Twisted Spine Cone and watched it impale the madgremlin.
“Is that all you got?” he replied smugly in Cradlelian before coughing up blood. He licked his lips and taunted. “Arus knows everything. You are a bunch of bastard dogs!”
Matt shot two blasts at Arus before holstering his Super Blaster. Arus dodged it without even thinking and jumped over Atrum’s Twisted Spine Cone blasts with ease.
Atrum grimaced and charged a cocktail of status bombs, making Arus fly off burning, slow down like time replayed, spazm like a maniac, nausea, before freezing in mid-air as he tried to lunge at Matt.
The two high-fived in their supposed success before noticing that Arus wasn’t freaking out like normal. They were bemused.
Arus closed his eyes and focused yet jittered slightly.
“Ar tic Vesuvius! Mecdind! Huurrraahhggh!” as he finished, the ice broke, the other status effect wore off like a remedy pill and he healed in an area marked with the Gremlin insignia.
The two knights were goggled eyed in amazement. Even Basil stopped panicking to look at this magical marvel.
Snap!
The striker broke in half and in a fury of sparks and flames, the Elevator platform sprung up in the air and Basil went up the shaft while screaming if fear and shock.
“Holy Momoni!” the duo exclaimed in sorrow.
“While basil is probably safe…” Atrum continued morosely
“…We are trapped with a psychopath.” Matt finished. They both turned towards the dribbling Gremlin who was smirking with pleasure.
