I think

I think it's not too much to ask, just show progress on the game, how things are made, ect. Maybe cover it all in one neat little video. But here's the thing, they KNOW our opinions, most of the vets are not happy, new players are oblivious, and the new ones who do know are wondering "should I play this game?"

Welcome.

I don't think they need any help understanding player opinion. It's not like they're really having trouble understanding the concerns that people have been posting for years. That's not why development has been slow. I'm more willing to guess that's due to large changes being made to the game, or roadblocking bugs.

I don't usually frequent the suggestion section, but I will say that they have used some of the very detailed posts (ex: the guild hall post) as starting points. If you have dev experience, consider a realistic suggestion as you doing uncredited free labor ("labor of love") to do full game design on a feature - taking into account the features, the functionality, balance for all levels of players, possible potential for monetization, etc.

Maybe it's the cynical ex-game-dev in me, but you know, as long as they have a clause somewhere saying that you aren't entitled to anything for giving your ideas, suggestion forums are a nice way to get free game design work. The main problems with the free labor are that most of it is poorly-thought-out or that they might not fit with the direction of the project as it is.

But hey... if you can make a video or quick prototype, all the more power for your own suggestions lol. It's probably better for you to use your time on your own projects, but that's my own take on it.

That aside,
- Updating official SK videos would be nice
- Dev videos would be oh-so-interesting, but as we've seen with the Gunner Update, when they announce things that they're working on and they get delayed, players get mad. :3

:/

I Know that they know our opinions but I'm a veteran who played Sk for 3 years and there has been some changes but it gets really boring doing the same thing over again the lack of armor variety ,same old enemy fights(they should add more enemies in danger rooms )ecc...
I want to have more optional mission which are completely different missions where you can find new npcs, enemies, mini bosses and traps and new gameplay rich content where it is always generated so that I never looks the same,I think they already said that this will be in the arcade deluxe but...I'm starting to loose my patience for new content...

But then again I know that they are working already on it,but they just need to at least tell us something about the development or talk about the game itself by making dev videos or in other ways to calm the players a bit.

Eeaahh...

Your heart is in the right place, and I don't think any of us should stop you. If it's change you're looking for, this likely won't change much. But I've been wrong before.

From a business standpoint, the people who don't directly support Three Rings are the ones who direct paying players towards the game. Money keeps the servers up, developers living, and all that jazz.

However not all the players can be that helping hand, but they still want to help. Making artwork, videos, and in general unintentional advertising is a great help. We love this game and want to see it flourish. Telling the developers to "hurry up!" and "make this and that, and then do this! Oh! Also do this, and that and this!" does nothing helpful. We want change and they want progress, and sometimes these lines cross, but often they don't.

The bottom line is to not say the same thing over and over again to the same person. No matter how much you yell at a flower to grow, it won't grow any faster. Just water it daily and keep it alive and it will grow into something beautiful.
