WHY.........after all the work i had put in it, i now cant play here in japan...i was looking forward to my pet dragon (forgot the name of them since i cant play here in japan)

The Iron Wolf/Dragon DLC on the Steam Community Market has the following disclaimer:
"This is a restricted gift which can not be played in these countries: Japan, Korea, Republic of, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong"
So I imagine the regional lockouts are as those listed. Thanks, SEGA.

$EGA blocked few asian countries when Gamecyber bought licence to host server in china (haha).
By it you should play gamecyber version, but pfffffft, it gonna die soon, was empty since launch and doesn't even get updates anymore, so just wait I guess or use proxy since ToS doesn't say anything about using proxy... at least when I ctrl+f "Proxy". If you ask support they might be able to remove your account from Steam and convert it back to a normal account, they usually don't, but I think they have been in this situation.

If it still doesn't work, then look at the bright side. Japan has many many interesting games that never leave its ports. I'm quite jealous really.

@Flowchart: What steam have got to it? Japan is IP-banned at every client.
@Dieudonnee: People who made their account before launch of Gamecyber server are not IP-banned.
Why not? What happens when you launch the client program and try to log in? Isn't it true that you can play, but just with very high latency to the servers?
Have you tried making an account on the East Asian servers? (Are they still running?)
