uh, after the gunner update, the kat eye cowl needs to be buffed because its now worthless infront of the new armour.

It also has negative Shock
It also has negative Shock and Curse resists which is far worst than the Sacred Grizzle Shade's poison penalty.
Plus it has no CTR

Its always been underpowered as a Gunner Helm compared to the regular gunner helm line (Gunslinger Hat). Same defense stats (just swapped major/minor), and only a +1 to damage and ASI, with maximum freeze bonus, med shock penatly and low curse penalty. Compare that to the regular lines which give Med Damage/ASI and Maximum status resist, no penalties (Deadshot gives Med Undead damage and gun ASI low, so its more of a hybrid armour than a true gunner armour)
In fact, all of the Kat Cowls are underpowered compared to their regular counterparts (Wolver/Gunslinger/Demo). Give weapon damage low at 4*, and weapon damage med at 5* will make it worth the difficultly of grinding out Ancient Pages and the harsh penalties it has compared to regular class. At the same time, buff the Kat Raiments in the same way. The difficultly in obtaining the mats to create them definitely DO NOT make up for the stats it has.
Otherwise its a rather expensive costume helm.
We should just add the Kat gear to the list of equipments that are in sore need of a buff to make them usable.

Not to mention that a large portion of armors are outclassed by Chaos/BK sets.
Kat Eye is OK but nowhere near as viable as any of the Grizzly Shade helms. Hopefully weapon and armor balance will come in the next major update.
It offers more defence.
As if that makes it worthwhile in the face of black kat. As an endgame item it was always worthless.
