>>>Best Pulsar Line???<<<

Hey guys it's me after a long time as I've been playing more and posting on forums less.
Soooo.....I just got a Dark Chaingun, Spike Shower and a Sealed Sword (ditched the Antigua) and am looking for Avenger/Faust and Black Chaingun recipes.
Anyways, my question is: I'm about to get a Pulsar soon (hate RT and I have 12 Bark Mods ATM) and have already bought the Kilowatt recipe for a mere 4kcr.
Which Pulsar is the best??? I'm not gonna consider Permafroster at all as I'm already making Grim Repeater and Supernova is, well, NORMAL ._.
Soooo.....Wildfire OR Polaris??? The better Elemental gun for super Knockback and killing the lumbers and those Slaggs.
Bonus: I'm making Combuster as my main sword so I already have a Fire wep.
I just wanted to ask if Shock is better than Fire Status in case of a knockback gun.
Bonus:::: Does Pulsar shots interrupt enemy attacks like the Iron Slug??? Please help.
Thanks in advance

I haven't used Wildfire, but the real strength of these weapons is knockback, and Polaris' shock sometimes cancels knockback. In that sense Wildfire is stronger. On the other hand, shock is more useful than fire for crowd control...Maybe you'll get some better comments soon. Cheers.

The Pulsar expanded shot will interrupt like the Iron Slug, but not the initial smaller shot.
If you're looking for crowd control, I'd say Wildfire. You'll want consistent knockback when dealing with large hordes of enemies. A Pulsar can backfire (no pun intended) horribly if a shot expands beside or behind an enemy, which will cause chaotic scattering. One way you can mitigate this is the "2 shots - pause - 2 shots" pattern instead of reloading, keeping up a constant stream of pulsar shots rather than burst waves.
Polaris is more useful for shutting down targets, instead of merely sweeping them away. The best examples are Gun Puppy equivalents. Expanded shots will naturally stun lock turrets, and the shock can keep them locked down, even when you're not consistently shooting them. Also, the shock makes it useful when dealing with something like a Tortodrone. The touch of disable when dealing with a powerhouse is invaluable. You can use it on no-freeze Vanaduke fights as well.

So I'll go with the Polaris.
I have another question: Which main bombs should I get for utility with swords?(for every theme)
For example: I don't have a Piercing sword yet but I use my Spike Shower against Fiends with Blazebrand charges.
I was thinking maybe a Graviton Vortex would go well with all types of enemies and specific sword charges. But I need something with POWER. Please suggest a few damaging bombs with specific swords that are best for specific enemie types.
Thanks in advance

My detailed sword guide covers all aspects of swords in PvE, including armor and sidearm weapons. Check out the section on Mixing Weapon Types. Yes, vortices are good. I wouldn't have chosen any pulsar line at all, but to each his own.
It depends. Three of them have status. As you have said u already have a Blazebrand, you should probably get the Permafroster or Polaris, as u already have a fire status weapon. If you are looking for a good pulsar for FSC, I would suggest polaris, having used it many times. Permafroster also does shadow damage, which is no use in most missions. (my opinion). So I would suggest the Polaris line.
