New Bomb idea: Charging Column (updated on June, 12)
It pretty much eliminates the ability to chain bombs, if that's what you were intending.
As a new bomb, sure, but not as an overhaul to current bombs.
Controled bombs would give to much precision of killing monsters
i agree to hexzyle as well, and i see it's a very good idea and can provide many good tactics

But how do you charge and place a second bomb while the first is on the ground?
Once the bomb detonates, and knocks enemies back, then what? You've got no bomb placed to chain them into, and no bomb even charged, so it has next to no ability to kite fast moving mobs.
I feel this bomb is not a bad mechanic, but it needs some tweaking. Like longer charge time sense it has no fuse time. And the ability to set one more bomb down for every new charge, so this means the player can set a maximum of 3 bombs without exploding them. Now, about the first bomb you mentioned that it would gained extra circumference, added status chance and increased damage, I feel this should only apply to the first bomb you set down, while the other two bombs that are set down will only be the first version of the first bomb. These consecutive bombs that are placed down will be placed right under the knight’s location and they will explode simultaneously when the player presses the detonation switch. Also, these consecutive bombs will have fuse time unlike the first bomb that is placed down.
This is how I would modify your idea.
Hexzyle: This is a new bomb idea, not an overhaul. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Blandaxt: I dunno, I feel by doing that would make things too complex.
Hey Itsmeandersonlol.
Upon reading your suggestion, it seems like it's a somewhat terrific idea however there are some setbacks to it where, as a bomber, I wouldn't use it. Though it's efficient in being able to attack players at the right time at detonation, it isn't really efficient time-wise. You may need to charge the bomb even more plus wait a second extra to detonate the bomb, whilst having no way of protecting yourself other than your shield and that even can cancel the charging process.
Meep: should I add in that there is no diffuse time for the bomb? (so if you don't charge the bomb, and decide to detonate it right away, it won't go through any time, but rather it will detonate right away).
Edit: decided to add it.
In my opinion too OP
