Shield update: More shields with more status resist combos and more class related buffs. New shield bashes for certain ones.

Class armor update: Bringing CTR to other class armors besides bombers (Wolver and Gunslinger sets with CTR instead of damage or ASI), more mixed buff sets for Bomber and Sword knights (similar to buffs in the GU armors)

Armor update: Buffing and debuffing certain armors to be more balanced. Adding more type damage and status resist choices for class armors. More Specialist sets, more branches to Jelly, Magic, and Skelly lines with different resists or buffs. Balancing of Chaos and Black Kat sets.

Bomb Update: More damage types for old bombs and status variants, damage and mechanic buffs for Shard bombs, more Piercing (3 lines) and Shadow type bombs (4 lines and one event branch). New bombs with new mechanics (able to combat elite monsters more easily).

Sword update: Buffs and Debuffs for current lines. More type variants for normal damage blades (type leviathan, cutter, etc.). Finishing lines (Cautery and Winmillion).

Sprite update: Refined mechanics for the old sprites as well as introduction of Blue and Green sprites.

LD update: Revamped maps, mechanics, and balancing of the classes. Matchmaking system put in place to make matches more balanced and even. Allowing AT to be a toggleable option for Guild LD.

Market/forge update: Slight tweaks to AH (previewing sprites, being able to remove previously previewed accessories/costumes), adjusting fire crystal drop levels. Brinks getting rarities added to his shop (forge, primal, and grim spark trading). Price reductions for vendors selling items without alchemy lines that extend to 5 star.

My brain says armour balancing but my heart screams LD update.

I'd be very interested in new sprites as well, not to mention a fix for all the skills that are completely broken.

I'm interested in many of these proposed updates, but not in the way that you've proposed them.

Many of your ideas seem to be about symmetrizing --- having Cutters in all damage types, having armor with all kinds of sword abilities, etc. You seem to be working toward an ultimate goal of having all combinations of damage, status, and abilities available in armor, and all combinations of damage, status, and play style available in weapons.

Good design often benefits from asymmetries. They make life more interesting. For example, if I'm going into a shock level that I'm actually worried about, then I have to think carefully about what offensive abilities to give up, and consequently what weapons would be best to use.

My highest priority would be retuning the damage calculations to fix two issues: the damage decrease from 4- to 5-star weapons, and the undesirability of defensive armor.

Actually my highest priority would be a player level editor, wrapped into a reputation/PvP system to make it social and competitive.

I would go with LD (though a better thought out way of dealing with AT would be preferable). New maps would be cool (no map atm is bad really).

After that, balancing armor (for example, reducing Black kat and chaos pieces health bonus by 2) - would be good because people built sets around BKC freeze resist, and changing that would enrage many

Market/Forge Update first...
Sword Update second...
Bomb Update third...
Armor Update fourth, so that armors without weapon bonuses aren't useless anymore...
Sprite Update as a very close fifth, so Drakon can get buffed and Moonstone and Valestone aren't just leftovers from the old days anymore...
LD Update sixth, because I don't care about PVP much anyway, but LD is still borderline broken in my eyes...
Shield Update seventh, just because it's not as important as the others IMO...
Class Armor Update last, as I feel most of these problems would be covered in the Sword/Bomb Updates anyway if they add an equivalent to the Padded Armor for Swords and Bombs.

Typed cutters would ruin the unique weapon... Definitely not a good idea.

That said, I think I'd rather have a bit of everything instead of an update that targets 1 aspect. I'd prefer to have a couple new things for swords, a few changes for bombers, a unique new armor over having another update like with the gunner armors.

SPRITES

Updating LD shouldn't be that high of a priority. It's kind of a niche update, as it only benefits competitive players (which make up, like, <30% of the community) so I would put this update last.
But a sprite update is *needed* right now. If I could, I would put adding valestone and moonstone consuming sprites into the game a top priority, because currently those crystals are just useless and they have been like that for a while, which is baffling really.
Second would be increasing radiant drops, with the best way making so that they drop, albeit rarely, on depth 19+ instead of like 26+

1) Shield update!
Right now I got only 2 Fully heated shields and I definitelly don't *need* more. The Shields that I would Need do not exist in that defense- & resistance mix. Also Shields with buffs - exspecially for bombs -will be cool.

2) Sprites!
Yea, finally my over 3k stored Valestone would be good for something aside Prestige trade-ins.

3)Bombs!
My best bomb vs undeads is a certain piercing bomb.
My best bomb vs constructs is a certain shadow bomb.
Something isn't right here!

4) Amor!
Please give me a reason to use something else aside Chaos. Actually I love these heavy Amors, but, they are so... pointless.

My priority order

#1)Armor update & Class armor update: I feel like updating and balancing armor is the absolute priority right now: people generally always use the same 2-3 sets, simply because all of the other sets are not as good. In my opinion, this kills the game's variability and discourages players from trying different playstyles, which should be the main point of this game. I almost feel sorry having to respond "Skolver or Chaos" every time to every new player who asks me which armor they should craft first.

#2)Bomb update: Yes, swords are more popular, but i think bombs should be fixed first. The priority here isn't adding new bombs, but fixing the already existing ones (shard bombs plz) and adding more bomber armor sets (armor update again). Also, THIS: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/109933

#3)Sword update: There are some overpowered swords and MANY underpowered swords: this update should focus on rebalancing swords like the troikas, the brandishes, the status flourishes, etc., and maybe giving the winmillion a 5* form. Also, more armor sets for sword users could be added (armor update again again).

#4)LD update: Probably, the armor, bomb and sword update would rebalance a good part of the gear even for the lockdown, so this shouldn't be a priority right now. But a rebalancement of the classes and new maps would be nice.

#5)Sprite update: But new sprites can wait, at least give Moonstone and Valestone some sort of use besides geological surveys.

#6)Market/forge update: Slighly adjoust radiant fire crystals drops to make them more abundant in the arcade, or simply make more red treasure boxes appear in comprasion with the green ones at the lower depths of the arcade.

#7)Shield update: While adding new shields with new mechanics would be nice, in my opinion shields are one of the few things that are currently balanced in the game, save for a few exceptions. Almost every shield has its utility, even if very situational.
