Defenses are sort of reversed...

Wolver armor gives piercing defense, but actual wolvers are weak to piercing.

Jelly armor gives sleep resist, but from what Walkon says, it seems like it should give a sleep weakness.

I understand why it's that way (for Wolver armor, at least), but it still seems a bit unusual...

yes

You're right about the Wolver part. This has been pointed out many times over the years.

I don't know what Walkon says about sleep. Maybe you could explain more.

Walkon

Walkon says "The best part about piercing defense is that the armor is made of squishy jelly material. You could just about fall asleep in it!"

Also, on the wiki's news list, it says on the Slime Prize Box promotion details - "Knight Walkon, who was found sleeping in the Hall of Heroes, commented ‘So squishy!’ before he dozed off again."

I can't find any actual sources for the second part though. It says nothing about that on the forum post or wiki pages for Walkon or the prize box itself.

Not that it matters, but that sounds more like that the armor is super comfortable to wear rather than it making a knight tired.

The piercing defense is also the same for chroma/virulisk suits...
