What gear is recommended for farming the slime casino? Should I just use chaos+ssb or is there anything better

maybe that new slime sword
Maybe you should equip that new slime sword. On the off chance that it has an extra freaky ability of helping with slime casinos.
if you're just running through the map then you might want msi gear. Black kat set, Mercurial, etc.
other than that it doesn't really matter. Maybe resist gear of whatever status the areas have so you don't get slowed down.
