Are T1 *solo* runs still profitable?

Considering this:

1) Energy/Crowns rate conversion (100E = 6000CR)
2) Auction House prices
3) Random T1 Arenas and Danger Rooms

Is it still wort solo-running T1 content?

I used to do that few weeks ago when you could buy 100 energy for 4000-4500 crowns. T1 mats don't sell that good. I have tons of them in my bags and selling one by one is a pain in the back (horrible Auction House interface, in my opinion). Selling full stacks of 50-100 means you will be risking a lot of crowns.

Would it be better running T2 content instead, even if a little more risky? With My gear (full 3 stars) I cannot solo T2 Arenas or Danger Rooms yet. plus.. the wolves are a pain in the /\ss most of the time :)

Right now I am trying to gather more friends to join them past 1-3 levels of T1 and T2 (low profits for 30 energy).

What would you suggest?

I'd suggest you equip

I'd suggest you equip yourself with a Shivermist Buster and a Leviathan Blade.

T1 runs are still profitable

I do T1 solo runs all the time. I try not to do T2 because I end up with a group of people more powerful than me, so they get all the stuff. Also, it's easier on the energy, since you are less likely to die (if you equip the right stuff the 'monsters' basically fall right over at your feet!). :D

The thing to do with T1 mats is to sell them in small amounts, not one by one or in stacks over 20. I usually sell them for 10 cr apiece (no stars or one star) or between 20 and 50 cr (two stars); at those prices, other users tend to quickly snatch them up. Or, if you don't like the posting fee, you can always sell it to a vendor in the bazaar. Not a huge profit there, but you still get something. :)

Last but not least, T1 arenas are fairly easy, but I don't suggest the Danger Rooms unless you have a companion. For some reason I find T1 Danger Rooms harder than T1 arenas, but that might just be my [strange] POV. ;)

I don't know what you WANT me to suggest, but this is my experience with T1 solo runs. I've gotten all the way to Moorcraft Manor several times without dying. :)

The reason Danger Rooms are

The reason Danger Rooms are harder is because they can take monsters from the next stratum or tier (I forget which), either way the monsters are stronger than the ones you're used to. You're also much better off doing T2 in my opinion. Danger Rooms are barely worth anything unless you need heat since thats what most of them give out.

Uh, Danger Rooms are a gold

Uh, Danger Rooms are a gold mine. It's like a whole second level for less than 1/3 the cost.

All loot, heat and crowns, are split evenly. Only materials aren't and they are random.

good to know

@Dirt

Good to know (even if it doesn't feel like it). Thanks for correcting me. :)

Going back to the topic - I think T1 solo runs are still profitable, even if T2 is thought more so. At least it isn't a waste of time. But...stay on T2 if you want. It's really up to you. (I like T1 cuz it's easy, that's all.)

I'd suggest you to try soloing a T2 run. You should be just fine with full 3* gear, providing there is no Boss. Just be careful and take your time ;)
I find T2 runs survivable (if such word even exists :D ), mostly those with Lichens, Jellies, Lumbers... Wolvers aren't THAT hard either, it just take some time to kill those Alpha Wolves, as their 'teleporting' and 3-hit-attack are pretty annoying x_x

I am currently spamming to

I am currently spamming to add friends to my list, so I can join mid-level runs instead of starting from 1st floor every time. But... today energy costs 6100 credits. It's not gonna last forever and soon it wont be worth anymore, if this trend continues.

T1 is worth doing if two

T1 is worth doing if two conditions are met: 1) you can't safely do T2 runs solo without reviving, and 2) you use Mist Energy.

That is all.

Right now I am running silver

Right now I am running silver Pawn Gate and I have to say it's VERY VERY good (I'm soloing 1 to 14). Pretty good Crowns, Arenas and Danger Rooms yum!).

They are, as long as you

They are, as long as you choose a gate that drops green and blue shards. All the other mats that drop in Tier 1 are practically worthless now, but you can still make a small profit if you sell a lot of green and blue shards from the run. You need 3.6k crowns just to break even with the 60 energy cost to run through T1, and that's hard to get in T1 without them.

And why are you saying *solo* run? It'll be just as unprofitable either way.

Solo runs will grant you all the dropped materials. I just got a 3-star shield from a green chest today... being alone grants you easy cash (some stuff is hot, see Bushy Tails for example).

Right now I run levels 1->13 and the final income is still acceptable (Crowns + materials + shards). The problem is... it wont last forever. Within a week or so, 100 energy will cost 7000 Crowns. The final profit will be very marginal and cashing some Crowns for 4-stars items wont be an easy task... unless we spend some real coins to get 3500 or 7500 energy.

the only reason to spend real

the only reason to spend real money for CE is when your crafting 4-5star gear~ 800ce per craft is insane and grinding to get 800ce for just ONE craft takes forever not to mention when all your gear hits 4star lvl10 at the same time~

@ llamaboiz2 I just

@ llamaboiz2

I purchased a 4-star Brandish sword just by selling materials and making profit from levels 1->13... but yes, I admit I have zero interest in grinding for weeks until I get the required stuff for more 4-star (or 5-stars) items. I guess I will just cash some real money and simply upgrade all my stuff that way.
