Hmm this doesn't fall under Class/Map feedback... so... here's some game mechanics feedback based on my brief stay in Lockdown.

Can't tell if a bomb is friendly or not.
I would run into a Shivermist, only to discover that I'm completely frozen :D Hahaha... Same goes for bomb fuses, walked into a Nitro thinking the bomber in front of me just dropped it - nope - boom.

Other games have an icon in the middle of the blast radius or a different outline color to let you know if the AoE is friendly or not.

Control Point Change Alert
Taking a cue from BF2 (and I imagine most flag-control FPS). We need a text or speech announcement of control point changes...
We lost Control Point 1
The other team secured Control Point 1
The other team lost Control Point 1
We secured Control Point 5

etc...

That way when something is happening, you know without having to glance at the mini-map or run around continuously.

Freeze Release
I was frozen and a teammate desperately swatted at me with their sword to try to free me as one would in the Clockworks, but it did nothing. Might have been a glitch or is this intentional?

Addendum: I noticed that I could not charge a bomb when in a mist, the status was being reapplied and was interrupting the charge. I thought I was just booching it, but spaghetiman noticed it too, so I know it was not just me.

Weapon Balance
The weapons I played with and died by seemed well balanced. Some things like DA, Polaris and RSS seemed OP at first, but once I quickly figured out their attack pattern weaknesses they were a piece of cake. A lot of people were equipping BTB, but all that lunging is pretty easy to overcome too.

And Shivermist/VT/Stagger... um... don't run into it. /derp

One problem I had with the Sentenza was the hitbox... I have to lead the other player by a tremendous amount to hit, and even then it would usually miss. Made taking down bombers very difficult.

Damage Lag?
Every time I took damage my screen froze for about 1/2 second while it was playing the damage animation. Kinda weird, no idea why. This is the same kind of "lag" I get in the Clockworks at times when the computer is too busy doing something to update the screen. Frequently it would result in getting hit several times while I'm waiting for computer to catch up.

Edit: Played again, this kind of lag seemed much better during the second playthrough.

The lack of indication on the allegiance of bombs is disastrous.
I pretty much agree with all that has been said here, I just didn't experience any lag.

To my understanding, bombs

To my understanding, bombs seem to do the most harm out of anything. I too constantly found myself running into bombs that I thought were planted by my teammates. If I may suggest something, maybe a huge [team colored] arrow indicator (From the "/follow" or "/followme" command) to be placed directly over each bomb.

For example, you can trap an entire opposing team with a Shivermist while the rest of your team goes to capture enemy points. There was a teammate of mine who did just this.

A 4 vs 4 game showed this as I was walking over (Being a Recon) and noticing that one of my teammates has about 3 or 4 of the opposing team frozen in the Shivermist Buster haze. The hilarious part? They were, quite literally, next to a control point.

Of course I had to screw him up and knock one of the opposing team members out of the Shivermist Haze. Simply put, it's not fun to have trapped people, or be trapped in any type of haze that a Stagger Storm, Venom Viler, or Ash of Agni produces.

Bombs, from my understanding, are the things that should be heavily nerfed in terms of dealing status conditions.

Regarding bombs, have you tried staying within the loving embrace of a guardian while taking on a bomber? I find that it's cake when I've got someone else absorbing all the damage and status.

Therein lies an issue; if you use a status bomb [especially Voltaic Tempest], it breaks the shield very easily while inflicting the status to everyone in the vicinity. At the very least, that's my experience being on either side. It's less of an issue with the more "assaulting" bombs like the Dark Briar Barrage and Nitronome.

View Mechanics

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been conscious of it... It's kind of odd to have slashed and shot from one angle, and then when you have the chance to do it against other players, it's at a different, raised one. Out of curiosity, is it possible for the angle to be made to the usual? The current one gives the game a different feel. I run, slash, and aim different. It's a bit hard to see, it feels like there's less that you can focus on. I'm interested in other people's opinions on it too. Thanks.

Is it possible to make it so

Is it possible to make it so you can "withdraw" after you use the "play again" button? I found myself in Haven, unable to pull-out of a match that was constantly being delayed due to lack of players. If this is a delibate mechanic for match-making, that's fine, I'll be more careful in the future. I simply thought I should mention it.

i'd recommend having the

i'd recommend having the items on the test server be at heat lvl 10. after all, when lockdown is released, people are going to be using lvl 10 items, so it would be a more accurate representation of game mechanics

also a sort of party system would be nice (not guilds). for example, i only have one friend with test server access and would like to be able to party up with him since we can't get a guild to play in the test server.

First of all, I agree that there should be an indicator as to which team placed each bomb. I also think (to stop team freezes) that there should be diminishing returns per player caught in a bomb. This would mean that if a bomb explodes and theres 1 enemy in the radius they get the full duration of the status effect. If theres 2 they split the duration, and so on.

On the subject of bomb strength, people are thinking bombs are overpowered atm because they don't know how to deal with them yet. Guns can easily push a bomber back and allow you to outmaneuver.

#1 the score board i feel should have a k/d ratio this is a game that not only do u need to know captures and defends but k/d also.
you need to know what your doing and how to improve yourself u should know your whole score. And also there should be a way to see the score board ingame to see if whats your doin during the game to see if u should change loadout or class
#2 We need a what in invite friends to play not only guild members
you can have friends playing againts guild and have it in the same system just add a button on the guild screen that says invite should work just like if your in clockworks

Easy Fix to Bombs, Armor is The Issue, and Something with the UI

Best way to fix bombs would be to make the detonation area/timer the team color, if you're running in to an area via striker shield in a mad dash and don't know which damage haze you can step into, you should probably be the smart striker and not step into any until they fade and back off a bit until you see who's dropping what, however, while in the fray you'll easily see which team is dropping what and can avoid accordingly.

Any Weapon balance issues need to be redirected toward the Armor (or lack there of) issues, this includes % chance that status effects work, though bombs constantly re-applying status effects and interrupting people every quarter second is horrendous, and I question the idea Fire resetting charge attacks when they don't even make you flinch. (Here and PvE.)

In addition to the UI change I suggested earlier, having the dice icons displayed by the score showing which points that team controls would be handy, striking them out when the team losses one, or make it shine into view when you capture a new point. It would make for a simple and quick interface that gives the players the maximum response time.

The Argent peacemaker and sentenze should have all hit stun removed from their "bullets"
They can fire quickly and have 6 shots that fly fast.

Because of this they are the easiest guns to use for players who cannot aim well.

The problem is that you can just kite with these guns to completely shutdown any of the opponents attacks.
The almost constant stream of shots from the AP/sentenze all can interrupt just about any attack that your opponent may try to counter with.

So, please remove the ability for the AP/sentenze to interrupt attacks such as sword swings and gun shots.

Sentenza's aren't necessarilly easy to aim with. It's a gun where you have to click the mouse(action button) for each shot.. It's not a spray weapon. I think the cancellation caused by guns is great. When a bomber is spamming a shock or ice bomb on a control point on the map, the only thing you can truly do to prevent the flow of bombs from continuing without entering the bombs' radius is shoot from afar while they're charging. If there was no cancellation with guns like AP/Sentenza, players would have a much harder time accessing control points that are already nearly complete death traps for anyone attempting to infiltrate.

Bomb charges should still be interrupted but the AP/sentenze should not interrupt REGULAR attacks due to how high its effective fire rate is.

If the Sentenze is not easy to aim with, than it still seems much more forgiving then every other gun.
