According to the wiki, the recipe for the dusker helm/armor and boosted plate shield are all sold by basil, but I never see them in his stock.

Each time you reach Basil, the recipe list is randomised. You also have to have cleared at least two depths, or you won't get anything - if you join a game in the floor before the terminal, you won't get any recipes at Basil.
Basil only stocks certain recipes based on tier - in tier 1, he only has 1 and 2 star recipes, in tier 2 he has 2, 3 and 4 star recipes, and in tier 3 he has 4 and 5 star recipes. If you're trying to get a Dusker recipe in tier 1 or 3, you won't ever see it.
The recipe vendor in Haven randomises once per day, at I believe midnight PST. That one only sells 1 and 2* recipes, though.

I'm just saying "all recipes available all the time" is kind of crappy... even if Basil is an evil douchebag...
For the record, I have never EVER found a Polaris recipe on Basil. Yet I have sold already 20's of Vog sovenirs...

Well the recipe you see are a lot more expensive in ah than basil price because that recipe is a bit rare from basil.in fact I only saw 2 cold iron carver recipes from basil before.usually when you want to get a recipe,start a party so you can be able to buy all his recipes.I usually do tier 2 basil runs and see what I can find.I got my dusker coat recipe on the day I was hoping for one from basil.basil sometimes can be nice XD.
