im having a wierd problem in which i see ''error'' written on npcs, on walls, on thwack hammers, on armor and so on, and the game isnt responding sometimes either. HELP!

The game files got corrupted.
The game files got corrupted. When you see "ERROR" or red Xs over things, it means the textures are damaged or missing.
You made a double thread. -_-
Anyway, try turning your gfx all the way down, and turn on compatibility mode.
Or you might have to update your drivers. I heard that can cause problems.
If neither of these work, I'm assuming you have an old system that doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Could you could post your system's specs?
