So about the ceremonial event, would any player get the set sent to them if they were offline or not? Since after logging on to SK for a looooooooooooooong break I saw everyone had got one, and when I asked all I got was that it was sent to all players. So the question is should I have recived one?

Sorry for this being in General Discussion but Its been buging me a bit...

It was a Homecoming event,

It was a Homecoming event, which means, well, coming home, which means actually logging on. So, no, not our problem if you chose not to log in.

1: Kidnapped? Yeaaaahh....no.

2: All he had to do was log in, he didn't have to play.

3: "Holiday" in a "very deserted island"? lol, Sounds more like "marooned" not a "holiday".

Unfortunate as that is, 3O cannot make exceptions for every possible situation without great expense to themselves, unless they're feeling extremely generous.

In which case, they'd still be doing it at great expense to themselves.

I thought that was implied when being generous. Otherwise, it's just doing business.

Well, yes, but you said "Without great expense to themselves, unless they're feeling extremely generous". Which insinuates being extremely generous no longer causes great expense to themselves.

Although, from a certain psychological standpoint, that might be true.

@Severage Correct me if I am

@Severage Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't an item grant basically a simple thing short selecting an item and sending it to the recipient? What is the extent of the expense that results from it?

E-peens and complaints from players. Management harassment.

In theory yes. That would be if the player in question happens to make his case less that discretive, considering it has to be a formal request to OOO. There is a distinct difference between being given a merciful grant from OOO and taking it for granted, all variations accounted.

In a game with a very restricted control over the economic field, a shine from the higher-up's benefits upon the player would certainly draw eyes of envy. I believe that is what you associate the outcome with. But who would you put in charge of this regrettable projection in this case? The staff? The player? Boswick?

@Melonfish:

You don't really have to type with such copious wordage you know, lol. I appreciate the grammar being correct though.

Not just "in theory" - people have already used the argument on these forums that giving honor gear to everyone would make their "Prestige Gear" (Prestige is synonymous to E-peen) junk, as it is just for show already.
