A new combat style, with accompanying weapons, to allow knights to choose to sacrifice the use of a shield for other bonuses.
Swordsmen might dual wield smaller swords and possibly daggers?
Gunners could dual wield smaller guns and maybe get rifles?
Bombers....idk, but something new.
Lets hope the developers don't actually do this like they did to pet suggestion :(
the reason duel wielding will never happen is because the shield is just too much of a big element in the game, it starts out very easy, but quickly gets to a point where everything deals pretty decent damage, if you had no shield, you could have all the offence in the world and still die.

Are you, by chance, new with forums?
Any case, I have to say NO. This isn't Runescape; we don't need people with daggers for shields. Having 2 weapons to control requires attack mechanic changes. You have provided absolutely no details here which are helpful or new.
Any case, you're beating a dead, dead horse by suggesting this. And I'm beating a dead horse by beating your dead horse.
