The exact quote is "I will add that I am personally not inclined to ever add a player skill/weapon/anything that can reliably and repeatably heal another player. "

Which isn't even close to saying they would never add a healing weapon. Only one that could do so reliably and repeatedly.

Weapon slots are for weapons.
Vial slots are for healing.

@Zeddy, the bomb he's suggesting is reliable and repeatable. Even though people have commented with ideas like taxed exchange or CE costs, the only change he makes is to make the charge time longer.

idea!

After reading this thread, I've got a new idea for an alternative healing bom that isn't, well, spammable or abusable in a safe, comfy spot. Since I don't wanna bother in making a new thread, here you go:

--------------------------------
Le mechanics of the bomb:

(Variable X: the number of times a knight has been healed in a depth)
(Variable Y: a variable that differs between each star level of the bomb, shown later)

So to start, this bomb is a vaporizer like in the OP. When a person gets in the mist, it creates like an almost transparent /unoticable force field (like when a guardian heals a player in LD, the player gets this force field around them). this initially does nothing.

When an enemy hits the said person when in the mist of the bomb, the attack will do what it will usually do (knockback, statuses, etc) but it will heal the player by : (damage dealt by attack to a player with no armor values) / (variable x + variable y) ... So the player can't infinitely farm for hp as the value of healing will eventually turn to null. Also, all attacks that only induces statuses/damage from purely statuses will not be counted as an attack in the equation, and thus does not increase variable x or heal

Now you may say: "Noblax, this is just a weapon that can infinitely shield people from damage as long as they're in the mist! its OP!"
Well, when a person gets hit whilst in the mist, the force field will act like a shield. They use the same variable/value as the player's shield. So if they get hit enough, the force field can break like a shield does. People with their shield value at null will still get their usual damage as they usually do even though they are in the mist.

Now since they share the same shield value, let's say the force field is at yellow, our shield will also be at yellow... And of our force field breaks, our shield will also be broken

I understand that this will be very hard to code, but I just wanna get this idea out
-------------------------------------------
Now for the bombs:
(All bombs have the same radius/mist time/ damage to mobs as all other vaporizers)

2* -Healer Bomb (variable y = 4)
Description:
A vaporizer used by field medics. The mist it gives out kinda smell like vanilla

3* -Healer Bomb MKI (variable y = 4)
Description:
An upgraded healer bomb that can wrap up wounds like it was nothing

4* -Medic bomb (variable y = 3)
Description:
One does not simply harm a knight when this bomb is in effect. Probably the opposite

5* -Intensive Care Unit (variable y = 3)
Description:
You don't need a hospital, this thing got a giant one inside it!
-----------------------------

That's all I guess... I don't mind if you guys don't like it... I'm just happy that its out of my head

(P.S. Sorry for any gramatical errors... I'm not a native speaker)

Come to think of it a

Come to think of it a team-healing capsule would be okay.

team-healin capsule : gives every teammate 2 hearts
super team-healing capsule : gives every teammate 4 hearts
ultra team-healing capsule : gives every teammate 8 hearts

I decreased the healing in comparison to ordinary health vials as 3, 6, 12 might be overpowered. Could be decreased to 1, 2 and 4 respectively if this turns out to be overpowered.
Of course these would be rare. Team healing vials have about a fourth chance of appearing in comparison to ordinary health vials.

Going from this team-remedy capsules could also be added.

boop

I refrained from posting because it was silly.

"Slowest of the slow"
Slower that Gran Faust? Things drop hearts faster than that thing will charge, better to just improve your game and kill stuff.

healing, no matter how fast or slow the bomb is, will either be over powered to heal knights to too slow to make it worth it.

what?!

admin should test all kind of sugestion in game... ?????????????
if someone wants an enemy that kills you on sight, it should be implemented for test? if you and only you want the ban stick to be avaiable (example of the over powered weapon), they should take it in the game? not even in the test servers.
if the 80% of the people dislike the idea, there isn't much probability to take that to the game. if nick said: I am not willing to add a repetible way to heal, he will not. get in the idea.
and please take that to the gameplay. if there was a way to heal that is not a drop, what would you use heart drops for? scratching your back? if you would end every battle with full health, woudn't that be too simple?
even with the last change: get in the shield, charge your DAvenger/ Sudaruska, then proceed to kill every enemy. while you are in the shield you do not suffer knockback, so it should not be a problem. make it a very rare capsule drop, and it would be fair. otherwise, it's OP.
sorry for the rage post, but I couldn't take it any more.

Proceeding the explosion...

Sahonix, you don't know anything. You never read a damn post, and you want to cheat into a game.

Do you know how to learn the game? Right now, nobody likes you (Come to think of it, only Raxxr) and your being an idiot because you can't use your damn logic. I mean, CMON! It's easy to just see the consequences of things. Also, why should we have tests on every suggestion. What if someone says "Oh, let's build houses and a crown generator which generates 100k a day! The game would be fun!!!!!!!"? This idea would suck. If you say it's good, your a big IDIOT ._.

I'm sorry, I also cannot hold back my rage.
