But I hate this new UI. With a huge passion. Everything's cluttered and I can't find anything. And it's lacking some very much needed elements.

Eury has been locking threads with repeat topics on the new UI, yet in suggestions the same thing has been going on for about two years and nothing is done about it.

I used to like the new user interface, until I *guy pops out and says "took an arrow to the knee!", and I slap him.* realized the major, disturbing differences.

My problems with Lockdown like the chat you can not see other players at the bottom, the power up things I do not know whats it called but the time is covering it, and the weapon being switched the icon picture is repeated above the current weapon I do not know if it was suppose to be the weapon before it.

History repeats itself, people dislike change but at the same time demand it. Same with the face book, new change brings uproar and a week later everyone is happy and likes it.

How much of the suggestion forum has been implemented?
The most requested features are end-games ones - new T3 bosses, lockdown rebalancing and improved matchmaking/team splitting - and instead we got a cluttering interface, which goes as far as to hide the currency, in the saddest hope that if people don't see how much CE they have left, they'll tend to spend more by impulse... That's why the new UI is not optional but forced.
Plus, the testing is a joke: users provided feedback goes directly in the trash. They pointed the missing CE/CR since the start. The update was rolled out without a change.
Curious to know when and how many really asked for an UI change

And your avalanche of whinging fecal matter is burying threads that people actually are interested in and have positive discussion, such as Troupemaster's Costume Thread, etc.
This spam is clogging up the forums.
I want to read threads that aren't bashing the update. It's irritatingly difficult when there's 25 of them and they are all under wierd obscure names like "fail", "well what's this?", "no offense OOO..." etc.
If I wanted to read stuff about the update, I would read the dedicated update discussion thread.
Have I made my point yet?

Not really. I would have been all for it if it was:
- A purposeful change.
- Aesthetically pleasing.
I wouldn't mind it being buggy in the beginning, I can sympathize with bugs, but right now, it seems like they're just changing because "hey, at least it's a change" (which is what you're thinking it seems). The fact is that they've added features that overlaps with others (see: shieldbar). They've changed around on things that really no one was complaining about (see: CE/CR counters), and they've ruined the nice aesthetics by adding tons of horrible gradients (see: absolutely everywhere). Yes, sure, they added things like monster healthbars, but I wouldn't sacrifice the old UI for that, honestly.

The UI is actually better
The reason why you don't like it is because you are not used to it at all. Its brand new.. Its more organised, its out of the way, its overall more professional, and I would congratulate OOO on making a better HUD that didn't have party invite messages or trade request pop into the middle of the screen that required constant attention, or really ugly vials that looked like a kids splatter on gimp...
Once you have tried the new HUD for a while, you will get accustomed to how it works and be able to navigate through it with ease. It seems its not going away, so not much reason not to embrace it hmm?
