Monsters Last Stand

Just asking: Why does every monster have Last Stand? (Meaning you can hit them at 2% and they just drop to 1% despite it being a killing blow.)
It's quite annoying. And with quite I mean "alot".

I've never seen monsters have this. Just ten minutes ago I killed an ironclaw mender with a single swing of my Faust.

It depends on the Armor Piercing rating of the weapon, I think. Although all Knight-Held weapons have an Armor Piercing rating of 1, so no monsters get last stands. Are you using the Hover-Bar or the Auto-Target Stat Box as a reference for how much health a monster has?

This is... peculiar. I'm using the Hover-Bar as a reference. At first I thought it was just coincidence, but it happens quite often - at least to me. It looked as it it was meant to be like that, so I didn't think it might be a bug. :/

The hover bar is quite inaccurate, often showing monsters with 0% health when in fact they still have 10%. And when monster's health is full, the hover bar actually "overfills" (the red part spills out past the border)

If you don't have autotarget on, hold down Shift while facing a monster to get the Stat Box. It shows their health with perfect accuracy.

It's worth noting that a lot of weapons seems to be geared so that they need a low, high or ultra damage bonus to do one less hit against enemies. This has been my experience with healthbar measuring, at least.
